nehaberlan Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 (edited) Hi, I get this error: SKYUI ERROR CODE 6 Menu file version mismatch for quest_journal.swf. Required version: 5.1 SE Detected Version: 5.2 SE I don't know why I get this error. Is it because a mod that requires SkyUI 5.1 SE, or something else? I just checked that I've used 5.1 SE version, not 5.2 SE. If you can help me anyway, I'll appreciate. Here is my load order: Load Order.txt Edited August 26, 2024 by nehaberlan 1
Grey Cloud Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 Have you tried searching for the error code? It seems it is well known.

nehaberlan Posted August 26, 2024 Author Posted August 26, 2024 I think, I found the problem: "Disabling the 'Ultrawidescreen Fixes' mod solves the problem. I have no such mod. However, I had SkyUI SE - Flashing Savegames Fix. Then, I disabled that mod. Right now, I have no problem. I still don't know what is the real problem, and how it has been solved. Maybe, someone can explain to me.
Just Don't Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 SkyUI checks each swf file it uses to detect if anything else is changing its files. You have a mod replacing one of said swf files. SkyUI detects a mismatch and gives you the error. Solution: you can disable the SkyUI check for that specific swf file, only do this if you're 100% sure the modified swf file is what you want to use. The option is in one of the SkyUI MCM pages, can't remember which ones at the moment but you'll see a clear list of all the swf files for this check. Now, that flashing savegame fix is a bit old and could be outdated depending on which version of the game you're using or other UI mods that could provide the same bug fix + others. But that's up to you to check and see if you really need it.

The options are: Map Menu, Favorites Menu, Inventory Menu, Magic Menu, Barter Menu, Container Menu, Crafting Menu, Gift Menu. The error is for quest_journal.swf. I didn't understand which menu is for the quest_journal.swf. About SkyUI SE - Flashing Savegames Fix. I really didn't installed it because I wanted to. I did because it was suggested. So, I don't think that I really need it. I have SKSE 2.00.20 and SE 1.5.97.
