Might be worth optionally having a pack of dreams for Idrinth's Dream Framework (Idrinth's Dream Framework at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community). That is an interesting idea. I don’t really track a submission score currently, but I am working on some optional “free me” mechanics in 0.5 that would better accommodate something like that. I had been meaning to get a 0.4.?? update on here, but just hit a wall with that code base so been chugging away at 0.5. No ETA yet though.
d4079925 Posted June 3 Posted June 3 (edited) Dear @Lazy Palm, You know "Beeing Female NG"? It's a must have for me, cuz it's essential to the female experience - Makes a woman more than just a reskin of the male protagonist. Now, wouldn't it be hot, if one could add a "revoke female priveledges" function to rules/punishments, where contraception fluids, condoms and sanitary napkins are confiscated (as a rule toggle) or as long as there are remaining punishment points? Imagine there is a naked rule, that applies to menstruating (to humiliate the sub) - and washing out sperm can be set as an infraction (with soft dependancies on Beeing Female NG, and "Fill her up"). This has the effect of causing the sub to wear a chastity belt with a plug to prevent cum leakage, to avoid infractions. It's deliciously depraved, especially since taking contraception fluid while inflated becomes a loop. The way out of this predicament would be to wait until the body itself absorbs the sperm (free protein). Finally, to close the loop, male doms can have the option of using vaginal sex as a punishment on female subs. Just a dirty/degenerate thought/request. P.s. What's the difference between Binding Core.esl, binding.esl and binding.esm? I use binding.esl cuz core sounds basic, and binding.esm can mess up a save, if index gets moved. But functionality wise, are the pros and cons to using the ESM? Edited June 3 by d4079925

But functionality wise, are the pros and cons to using the ESM? Binding Core is just an empty plugin that's there to preserve people's LO's if the migrated from an earlier version. It can be disabled safely if starting fresh. Binding.esl was the attempt to make Binding a light plugin, turns out CK makes it a nightmare. So LazyPalm started to migrate everything back to an esm. Binding v0.5 will only have the esm (and most likely require a new game). I'm not 100% sure if the esm is in use in the current v0.4x versions ... possibly for something already? Also, why should an esm have more potential to mess up a save than an esp? If anything my understanding of the game engine suggests the opposite. It's also never the plugins that cause a mess, but some scripts that directly address a form in a plugin AND that get backed into the save. You will need a save cleaner for that, provided you can even load the save to make a new one to be cleaned. That said while it is a common conception I could never track a problem back to the plugin order getting changed, as long as no plugin had been added or removed (ok actually only ever found problems after removal). I still tend to freeze my LO's for playthroughs I care about, but I experiment a lot after I'm done with a LO and actual problems or the dreaded "this save game is corrupt and can not be loaded" only ever appeared in combination with removing a plugin entirely.

Ah I see! Thanks So.. is it gonna be a problem if I switch the .esl to .esm mid-play through? Also, if he's switching to .esm, I might as well use the esm now? Cuz.. If i were to revert the save to a point where I didn't activate bindings yet, and then choose the .esm, who says the save isn't gonna get bricked later right? *rubs chin* Whatever the case. I just got started sorting the bondage outfits and getting to know the mroe intricate features of the mod. It's soooo good. Edited June 4 by d4079925

The idea was to have both active currently, but I double-checked with LazyPalm and the last public .4x version has no features that require the esm. It's important to realize those plugins are NOT interchangeable. You can not activate the esm and disable the binding.esl, that would absolutely cripple the mod. Yes future versions will use only the esm, but in all likelyhood they will require a new game anyway. At the very least a cleaned save. The current version depends on the binding.esl. Also remember this info is theoretical, the assumption is both the esl and esm will be present and active, as far as we can tell the esm is not strictly required for any public features, but no guarantee that we didn't miss something. Alright, thanks for the reply. This is very helpful. Is there a save cleaner you'd recommend?

(You need either an old or very new JAVA for it to work properly, there is also a recompiled version: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/153641 didn't try that one yet, but it's on my list ^^) 1

Current versions is not going to work, it has a dll that works from 1.5.97 up, but will not work with the LE versions. The 0.5 version that is in the works might work, if all requirements are available for LE.

Ok, so I should just be patient and wait for that version to come out… or just finally switch to SE. 😋 Thank you for the help.

Switching to SE does come with advantages these days, aye. As for waiting, you should check the current requirements and see if all are available for LE, if not, the requirements will stay largely the same, perhaps DD NG will be added. So if something is missing already, 0.5x will not fuction on LE either I'm afraid.
riko3 Posted June 8 Posted June 8 I do not understand Rules - Behaviours. I have nudity rule blocked but for some reason PC can not wear outfits. Whenever outfits are worn it says rule is blocking this. huh? What am I missing? How are Rules - Behaviours suppose to work?

Depends, Nudity is not the only behavior rule that can block certain outfits. For example "Proper female armor" requires the outfit parts to have a bikinarmor, eroticarmor or similar keyword. Without knowing your settings and current rules, it's hard to say.

riko3 Posted June 8 Posted June 8 Hello guys, has anyone had a weird issue: Where say a scene happened, such as a whipping or torture/zap furniture was placed, etc. Then over time you went to different places and so on, and then randomly got teleported to that old location you were in, say 10-15 minutes ago? It's like wherever a "Binding Event" happened, the location is locked in, and once in a while, I get teleported back to that old previous location. Super weird, right? Has anyone heard or experienced something like this? Example: A scene happened upstairs in the Inn, we come downstairs, continue along, and start doing different Binding Quests downstairs after a while Then all of a sudden, when we are all downstairs (loading screen pops up), we get teleported back to the old scene's location we were in 8-9 minutes ago randomly.

If you're using a mod called Binding (or a bondage/captivity mod with that name), then yes, it could be responsible if it has mechanics such as: House arrest/confinement Captivity Escape prevention "Do not leave this area" objectives Punishment for fleeing wait I think this is what is happening. Hmm...

If you're referring to the 0.5x version I've been mentioning, it will not likely not go public to soon. LazyPalm is pushing hard, but it's still some work to do. Once released, it should be possible to drop it into an existing game. Never recommended, but I don't think it will be a problem with most load orders. What will likely not work, at least not without cleaning the save first, is to upgrade from 0.4x to 0.5x. Edited June 9 by Talesien
