Vampire Attacks

hello i got a skyrim fully modded and running perfect but i keep getting vampires in towns..killing npcs etc

 

Any idea which mod may cause this?

The Dawnguard DLC adds vampire attacks, so it's probably from the DLC instead of a mod.

but there is a mod with which you can turn off these attacks - which actually come from this DLC

 

dragon attacks in open places like Morthal or Riverwood are much more difficult - at a high level the dragons also become stronger and use shouts that also kill important NPCs (important for quests!)

 

here the game developers have once again NOT thought about it

No. But you might find the mod below helpful. I've used it for years to minimize losses:

Also, you can use the "resurrect" console command to bring back an NPC if you still have a body.

Manipulator mod from here on LL also has toggles for various vanilla annoyances.

 

I used all of the above with LE and now use the SE versions.

Add some pipe hitting guards vampires don't stand a chance in my game. The guards mop the floor with them and, most of my NPC  are protected or are bad ass in there own right... mod some more make it happen attacks add to the game.

Hi. I use the file "Random Vampire Attacks in Towns Disabled-31088-1-0-0", it's possible on Nexus. It works very well for me with the mod "TID - Things in the dark". There shall be a mod, witch stops the random "Downguard" attacks too.

it was either '' things in the dark '' or '' from the deeps'' i disabled both and it does not happen anymore
