Sanguinare Vampiris infection works too. And all child vampires should be recognized as such by the game. Installation: Drop files into Data folder. WARNING: This replaces the player vampire quest script, if you have any other custom race that can turn into a vampire, this will probably overwrite the needed script! I don't know how to add the scripting securely, so this is a replacer for now. Have fun! You just can't install mods and they work fine its not working like that. You have to install carefully what work togeteher follow exactly what mod readme say and make sure all in right load order. Now you have wrong meshes and face textures in wrong maps, your over writing files thats why you see these seams. If mods even claim to be standalone are manytimes not so always good make a clean install of child mods make sure nothing over writes and getting seams or weird faces. I use all mods together, both RCoTS and CoTS R2 no seams. I do it manually for me that works best some prolly will advice mod managers but thats up to you. CoTs R2 2015
zombgie Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 well i'm installing RCotS at the same place in the load order where CotS was before and placing RCotS Vampires after Races. (i'm using mod organizer - it simplifies messing around because you don't overwrite any real files so you don't need to reinstall mods if you deleted others) mod organizer points out that RCotS Vampires only overwrites Unofficial Downguard Patch on load and nothing gets overwrited inside RCotS modules at all evasiadutch, and what about khajiit?

User13 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Someone suggested I try this fix, as I'm not being recognized as a vampire by the other vamps after Harkon turns me. Still doesn't work I've switched up the load order, but still nothing. Any suggestions?

User13 Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Not sure it helps but I can't remember exactly. I've given up trying to be a vamp with Rcots. It's hopelessly bugged. Even if you get past the point where they accept you're a vampire (you have to manually change your race with the control panel, often several times) you'll still have feeding issues. The furthest I got was the part where you have to get the moth priest. You're supposed to bite him and make him your thrall, but it never worked, no matter what I did. Ended up just not playing that toon anymore, which is a shame cuz I liked her. On the other hand, Skykids has no issues at all with being a vamp or a were. Of course, if you're going for the lithe little vampire vixen, sexy and deadly, Skykids females sorta fall flat, if ya know what I mean My Skykids boy vamp is kickass tho.

Please ask a moderator to move this to the right forum. It's in the adult section because the version of RCOTS it worked with was adult. This mod is no longer needed - RCOTS now comes with vampire versions of the child races, and is no longer adult. I suggest folks wanting to play vampire kids check out the current RCOTS in the non-adult section.
