azmodan22 Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Can someone please explain me what this effect is and how to remove it?
myuhinny Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Looks like you have some sort of magic effect that has been stuck onto the player there is a way to remove I have seen it somewhere but can't remember where. *Edit found this it might help you remove the effect from your player. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/872861-tutorial-removing-unwanted-magic-effects-from-the-player/
Cyndi Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 I don't recognize that particular effect, but have a look here: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/872861-tutorial-removing-unwanted-magic-effects-from-the-player/

azmodan22 Posted November 29, 2013 Author Posted November 29, 2013 I did search there and the only one that looks similar was 10BEAA (page 2) but it didn't work
myuhinny Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Are you using any type of enb? *Edit found this on another site when you set iBlurDeferredShadowMask to 0 the Aura/Glow is gone. But that means shadows are no longer softened. iblur is located in your skyrimpref.ini try changing it and see if that works.http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/498228-annoying-auraglow-around-characters-and-objects/
Cyndi Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26538/? Try that, it generates a log with all the actor values for your character, I don't think it gives the codes for magic effects, but from the name, you should be able to look up which effect it is exactly.
Groovtama Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 "player.dispelallspells" tried? Maybe useful to test if it is an effect or maybe ENB or other stuff.
Uriel Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Careful with dispel command. It can break some ongoing quests in some cases.
Groovtama Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Careful with dispel command. It can break some ongoing quests in some cases. yeah that is sadly true...
azmodan22 Posted November 29, 2013 Author Posted November 29, 2013 I do have an idea that this effect is somehow connected with either Sexlab defeat 4.2.1 or sexlab cumshot 1.3 since these are the two mods I updated before this started to happen. I am using an enb but I am confident it is not because of that. The effect is removed when the cum textures are applied on the player sometimes. I have not tryed the dispell command as it also removes all the spells the player have. although some will be returned (ex frost resist if you are a nord), I am am not sure some will be reapplied like the standing stone or the ancient knowledge (gained through quest). I wil try this mod that logs the player's attributes and see if I can get any info from it.
Uriel Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Use MFG console, it's new. That Actor details mod is from 6 November 2012.

mkta Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 I'm having the same problem. If you found the problem please let us know. I'm also trying to find the source of the problem. Looked http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/872861-tutorial-removing-unwanted-magic-effects-from-the-player/ and found nothing similar and the effects I tried didn't work. The thing is that it is visible only under certain light sources and mostly on dark areas (as it can see that in the last image that is well lighten the effect is not visible) LE: I was wrong about last part. It is still visible but because of the enb is harder to see. When I disable the enb it becomes more visible.
jbezorg Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 Try casting ice spike. That usually clears the stuck glow effect from casting lightning spells.
mkta Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 "player.dispelallspells" tried? Maybe useful to test if it is an effect or maybe ENB or other stuff. Try casting ice spike. That usually clears the stuck glow effect from casting lightning spells. Tried both suggestions. Nothing changed. The dispel function works as I casted dragon aspect and it removed it. But the glowing effect was still there. And it is visible only under certain angles. And light seems to be an factor that determine the angle from where it is visible.
azmodan22 Posted December 6, 2013 Author Posted December 6, 2013 Still having the above problem. mkta Have you found a solution?
winny257 Posted December 6, 2013 Posted December 6, 2013 I use this! No More Glowing Edges Mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34981/? http://static2.nexusmods.com/15/mods/110/images/34981-2-1366354346.png
mkta Posted December 7, 2013 Posted December 7, 2013 Still having the above problem. mkta Have you found a solution? Still looking for a solution. Best I could do is play with an enb that "hides" the effect.
