Hello! What this PC/Xbox Creation does is turn Starfield's Adoring Fan companion into an adorable (but still annoying) fangirl with a new female voice. Her appearance is fully customizable via the Enhance menu and the trait "Hero Worshiped" was also changed to reflect the gender change. The trait and companion can be added to an existing save, check out the player's room in the Lodge (see below).

In all other respects she SHOULD behave exactly as the original Adoring Fan. This means in order to have her as a companion, the player must have the Hero Worshiped trait and have joined Constellation. If those two things are true, the Adoring Fangirl will spawn and seek out the player near the New Atlantis spaceport or MAST Metro.

This mod's voice was created by using ElevenLab's AI driven text to speech generator.

NEW! In-game way of modifying the Adoring Fangirl skills!

As a dialogue option you can talk to the Adoring Fangirl about what role you want her to be on your spaceship. She'll respond with a menu of choices. One for a primary (up to rank 4) starship systems skill like Pilot or Payload and a secondary (up to rank 3) weapon system skill like missles. These two skills can be changed at any time by repeating the dialogue option.

NEW! In-game way of adding the Trait
Any time after joining Constellation, go to your room in the Lodge. On the table opposite of the table is a note. Pick it up and your character will be given the Hero Worshiped trait and her quest will start. Go to the MAST metro and head for the Spaceport. Along the way you should meet her.

NEW! In-game way of customizing her appearance
When talking to the Adoring Fangirl, the player should see a new option “I want to talk to you about something.” This will be where all of this Creation’s future content will be accessed.

There will be the option “I want to change your look”. Selecting this will open up the Enhance menu with the Adoring Fangirl avatar loaded. Change her however you like!

Save your work with YOUR character’s name and pronouns, otherwise it will change your character’s name and pronouns. If possible, I’ll try to fix this in a future update.

If you experience a crash or other error, trying stripping your player character's gear off first, then use the appearance change option. Custom clothing and accessories can sometimes cause the Enhance menu to crash.

Load Order and Requirements:
Load her after any crew or companion creations. There are no other requirements.

This is my first creation, so appreciate any feedback and bug reports, especially if she uses the male voice or no voice at all. I know some lines, like her initial greeting sound a bit off, I'll try to fix those in the future.

Troubleshooting:
Some users, especially on Xbox, have reported her showing up with no head, male voice, etc…this is most likely because the archive files did not load properly for some reason or the creation is being overwritten by another creation.

Try deleting the creation from your load order and Bethesda.net. Make a save without it. Then redownload the Creation.

If you are using another audio replacer, the two creations might conflict. Try disabling other audio replacers and see what happens. If Adoring Fangirl starts working, well I can't fix that. Its a BGS issue.

Move the creation to the end of the load order. You might have to go back to an old save or start a new game. I HIGHLY recommend SSK Fast Start for testing.

With SSK Fast Start is a great creation one can use to test mods by quickly starting a new game. Choose 2, 1, and whatever starting gear when starting a new game. Get the trait from the note if you don’t already have it, fast travel to some other part of the planet, then back to the lodge, then head to the spaceport.

There should not be other than the Starfield.esm.

 

Now to get her looking like my screenshot I do have some beauty mods installed:

CRT Body Mesh

VBB (Voluptuous Body for Beauties)

STARQUEEN - enhanced vanilla female skin

Peko's Eyelash

Fancy Teeth

The Eyes of Beauty - Starfield Edition

Plus appropriate clothing shaper mods. Look for "Shapely", "Form-Fitting", and "Enhanced"

I would say the lip sync thing is unlikely to be a limitation (that would be a major limitation if true), and more likely just a bug. There are a bunch of bugs in the CK right now, the biggest being the medium and overlay masters bug (saving as medium or overlay master can cause corruption in the plugin file currently).

Ouch, that's good to know. One of the things I've been pondering is whether or not Adoring Fangirl should be a full master or small master (esl). My thinking is that any mod that alters companion behavior requires a patch and was sure if a small master can patch another small master since they are all loaded into slot 255 of the load order.

I love this mod. The voice is extremely hateable and thus perfect. Do you intend to make her even crazier in general or are the mentioned ideas the intended limit of the differences?

Right now my goal is to make sure everything is working as a simple replacer and release the mod with a small master esm with a few optional appearance and voice packs.

 

Then I'm going to look at improving the fangirl, most likely this will be alternative esm, as I won't limit myself to changes too far from the adoring fan.

 

Some ideas I have:

Enable changing her appearance in game (I've seen a companion mod do this so know it can be done)

Adjust her skills in game or assign her a ship "role" pilot, navigator, engineer, gunner, etc...which she will DEDICATE herself into learning. This could be a quest.

Both done either in dialogue or a hand terminal.

Add a quest to pick up the trait without starting with it or remove the need for trait altogether. 

Make her romanancable, add flirting, and other such dialogue.

Add affinity quests

This would be the more crazier portion. I'm inspired by characters such as Harley Quinn and Himiko Toga.

Go full on BDSM with her either being a bottom, top, or switch.

Separated out the voice file so it can be installed on its own to mix and match.

 

With all my false starts I used up my ElevenLabs subscription for the month. Next month I will ad 1, maybe 2, more voices.

 

I have had no reports of anything odd yet, nor found any my testing. So will put this up on Nexus and Creations. LL will have any future spicy stuff (if it happens)

 

Edit: Not going to publish the alternate dark skin / green hair at Nexus/creations yet, though it remains uploaded here for folks for look at. Needs a bit more touch up. I messed up the eyes.

Update: Adoring Fangirl is now up on Nexus and Creations. Also on Nexus are BA2 files for those that use those. 

 

I think instead of making alternate versions, I'm going to add functionality to be able to change her appearance in game to allow players to customize her as they like

25JUN2024 Update

 

Updated new version that has a different naming structure than the one on Creations. This was done to avoid problems with the Starfield game loading/downloading the wrong file. 

The new version comes in two types, archived and loose. Use one or the other, not both.

I also tweaked her base appearance a little.

I have added console instructions on how to add the Adoring Fangirl into an existing game AND how to change her appearance. You want big boobies, you can have them.

Update 01JULY2024 - I've uploaded an esm "Adoring Fangirl Enhanced" which, along with the script file, will allow the player to change the Adoring Fangirl's appearance through dialogue. This process will cause the player's appearance to be redone (I'm working on a solution) but it's a workable means to customize the npc. In addition, I added a note to the player room in the Lodge that when picked up will add the Unwanted Hero trait to the player and reset the Adoring Fan quest.

Suddenly i'm much less annoyed by having a hyper clingy fan follow me around everywhere. Very nice work man. This is one of those mods that i install and forget about because it adds to my own tailored ✨immersion✨ for what i want my Starfield to be like. Waiting on the body and skimpy outfit overhauls.

I should add that I have not updated Adoring Fangirl with the recent vehicle update nor Shattered Space. So that file is missing those lines. I'm going to do an update in the coming weeks once I finish my Shattered Space playthrough.

Thanks for the mod! I enjoyed it throughout the game, but would like to try it again with the original character. Do you have any idea how I can bring him back? I tried uninstalling + resurrect command but it's still the same woman.

Changing her appearance in game:
Go to Enhance and customize your character to whatever you want your companion to look like. 
Save your look and exit out of Enhance.
Open the console, click on the companion you want to customize and type "capp player". It will copy your appearance to your companion.

Go back to Enhance to change yourself back unless you want to run around as twins.

Added Lip Sync! Finally!

Added in game dialogue methods to change her appearance and skills. Just talk to her and pick "I want to talk to you about something."

Added way to gain the trait in game. Look for a datapad in the player's room in the Lodge.

Added an optional AI voice for those who can't stand the original's valley girl accent.

Now I can't find her anywhere. Is there any way to find her again and convince her to be a member of my crew again?

Good question. Check the Terrabrew coffee shops, like the one in the New Atlantis spaceport.

This works perfectly! The way you said it was going too. I did a long 6 hour test. Started new game, tested her dialogues with custom appearance and traits. clothing, did different voices. used her in different animation. I use SF version 1.14.74 by the way. Thanks for the mod. now I'm happy to have this slightly still annoying fan Girl
