Should this not be taken as further evidence against the claim that BGS hates the modding scene or that are actively antagonistic towards it? They are careless and/or clueless at worst.

people who say bethesda hates modders are the same as people who say bethesda hates new vegas, they dont need evidence they just want something to cry about

This impression is created because mods break every time they update their games, which i get because games like Skyrim and Fallout 4 are pretty old at this point with stable modding scenes, why poke the nest right? But when people take this mindset to Starfield it's nuts cause it just came out, it's relatively new and needs a constant stream of updates to get better in ways players want. You can't have your cake and eat it too (actually you can idk why this dumbass saying stuck around lmao but you get what i mean) either Bethesda keeps updating the game which breaks mods every time or they abandon it straight up at which point the choice is obvious for anyone who isn't insane.

Idek where this bullshit came from. I saw people armchair psychoanalyzing Todd on various interviews like "this look at this, his expression when asked about NV clearly shows resentment" i'm like bitch wtf you on about that's literally his resting face lmao. Nah it still runs on systems with less RAM tho. I tested it on my living room desktop with 16GB RAM and it opened up fine. Didn't know wtf wo do with it but it ran lol.

 

I assume they took the maximum potential system load during mod creation and used that as a requirements benchmark cause the game is pretty hardware intensive anyway. If you're making a giant quest mod with whole bunch of props and NPCs with their own routines and everything then it's gonna add up to system load over time so might as well have enough memory to deal with that.
