Check this one out and let me know if that issue is gone for you. I only experienced it when opening the character menu. It would happen for about 2 seconds, and it would disappear automatically afterward. But now, I’m not seeing that issue anymore 😁

Hello, I've had this problem for a couple of patches, but I've been experiencing glitches or texture rips alongside desyncs on the textures of the eyes and sometimes mouth on most mods. I am aware that if i dont see much of it posted, its a problem with my own game configuration.

Can someone tell me which in-game settings or WWMI settings do I have to stablish to fix this? I am aware that DLSS is usually a problem but it did not fix it after turning it off. I have a high end PC so most of my graphics run at ultra by default.

Here is an example of the texture problems, Sigrika is one of the most profound, but almost every character has them:

Update: So far for 3.6, it seems to be FRover, Lynae and Yangyang that broke

Seems like model changes since they're totally vanilla instead of texture hash issues
Hopefully that can be fixed with the usual tools so we can keep our current mods

Believe it or not, everything else I've seen so far is currently working

I've been slacking on the portrait mod, what with those leaks about it going away, so I never bothered adding a sampler to fix anti-aliasing. I'll add that and commit some time to investigating the 2nd slot ghosting problem.

 

Moonholder does appear to have a test fix up for the changed component hashes.

 

I got egg all over my face for committing to TSR only for it to break 1 patch in while normal hashes didn't change that much, I guess I backed the wrong horse... Though hopefully me adamantly telling people NOT to use TSR over the course of 3.5 saved some people from ending up like me (All my mods are broken until RabbitFX update)

 

I'm being a bit dramatic, anyone using TSR like me don't worry too much about it, instead of waiting for Moonholder fix you're just waiting for a RabbitFX update so nothing really changed compared to previous patches (Assuming Rabbit releases something soon).

 

I'll get to work on UI shit once I assess the extent of the damage, update the loading screen mod, blah blah blah blah.

It do be patch day, guess my break is over.

I did a little bit of prettying things up this time:

 

Sanhua skin is for comparison. Obviously the width is a little different, but that's 'cus I didn't want to force people to have to change their image sizes/offsets to compensate, but yeah this'll exist as a new toggle, I think it looks quite nice.

 

This was just extra shit I figured I'd tack on after a near-complete rewrite. Nothing has changed on the front end aside from the new toggle, but the backend should finally have proper resolution/aspect ratio scaling.

 

As for the bugs, the "leftover image in an empty slot" bug isn't something I can realistically make an answer for, I had an idea, I tested it, it didn't work, I ran out of ideas... It bugs me sure, but I've also learned to just live with it. As for the 2nd slot ghosting, strangely enough it hasn't been occurring for me, I doubt it just fixed itself but I can't seem to replicate it so I can't do any testing.

 

Update will be out soonTM, just doing my due diligence for once, I'm actually cleaning up my code.

The characters I have with broken mods include Zanni, Cantarella, Lynae, Carlotta, Shorekeeper, ciaccona, Galbrena, and Chisa. It is worth noting that not *all* mods for these characters are broken; some characters still have a few that work correctly, while others have none functioning at all. Due to time constraints, I haven't been able to test every single one yet.

Thanks for always updating and improving your mods quickly after update.

I was talking with someone who reported the mod as not working on their side. After a few test, i wasn t able to find what was causing it. Dowloading your chibi mod wasn t working either, so i guess that the portrait driver would need an update again... I don't understand how the mod works consistently through updates on my side but not for some people.

 

About the new image format display, i hope the original, rectangular ones with their initial width will still be available, if you implement that as a new toggle, otherwise it might fucked up some of my pictures as some are already rather tightly fitting on the width side.
