Eightball had to go to 400 to get something that worked for him, try a drastic jump like +100 and if that solves the issue, work backwards from there. If it doesn't solve the issue, then you know that you'll need to increment in pretty drastic jumps and can go from there.

 

Well, the modder will say something like "Requires RabbitFX" in the post, or the mod ini will have "RabbitFX" somewhere inside it. Literally just open the ini, press Ctrl + F and search RabbitFX, if nothing comes up then the mod doesn't need it.

 

You're clearly misunderstanding what a "library" is in this context, that's my bad.

A "library" means collection of "commands" that other mods can access remotely.

 

Think of it like this, IRL, let's say you want to print a picture, but you don't have a printer in your house.

You have 2 options:

Option 1: Order a printer online, wait X number of days for it to arrive and then assemble and setup the printer, then you can print your picture.

Option 2: Go to your local library and use their printer. No wait time, no cost of having to buy it yourself, no effort required in setting it up.

RabbitFX is like the Library in this example, it's a "place" where your mods can go to "borrow" an effect without having to manually build that effect into every individual mod.

That's what we refer to as a "library" in a programming context.

 

Another example would be "Sins' math library", a set of inis that allows you to do complex math without having to write out exceedingly long calculation algorithms into every single mod ini, you just plug in your input numbers, call the library and it spits out your completed calculations for you.

Libraries are there for you to offload complicated tasks onto without needing to build that entire system in your back yard.

 

I don't know what Monsoon is cooking, but "patch/fix" tools aren't the same thing.

If Monsoon tool adds stable textures to a mod, the Monsoon tool itself doesn't require RabbitFX, but rather it's a tool that makes mods require RabbitFX, and in return for adding that requirement, they get the benefits of using stable textures.

I can't tell what's wrong by just looking at the inis, I need to see them in game to know what the issues are and I need to be able to keep seeing them in game in order to know if my attempts at fixing them actually work, therefore I need the mods, that's non-negotiable.

 

Bad timing, you just caught me after my mental broke and I snapped, so I can't say I'm exactly all that willing, but I'll play nice and you can consider yourself my lucky final customer.

 

The Rover mod is a product of Moonholder fix, I don't know what black magic they have going on to convert FRover mods because I don't know the extent of FRover's damage in enough detail to begin with, so I don't know how to fix that. It's the first Rover mod I've seen break which is really weird.

 checked the mesh and it's not like the draw order got messed up or anything, the index still believes that there are the same number of triangles before, it's just that those triangles have... disappeared.

I dunno man, this one is out of my wheel house, it'd be better to report it directly to Moonholder as some kind of outlier, not that I have any clue how to contact them.

 

As for the rest:

 

Cantarella - Bruh CR always has the weirdest fucking layouts... I don't use CR mods in WuWa, but I did use to use them back when I was modding/playing Genshin and hoo boy those fuckers threw me for a loop when I was still learning the ropes.

Anyway, seemingly just deactivating the lightmap did it.

Open Tex.ini (It's inside the texture folder, fuckin' weird amirite?) and search for "Resource\RabbitFX\Lightmap = ref ResourceC3Lightmap" then comment it out, it's just the Comp 3 lightmap that needs to be deactivated, the rest of it is fine.

 

Jinhsi/Camellya - I'm assuming that for these mods, you're talking about the MESH disappearing, as in Jinhsi goes back to her default self, rather than the TEXTURES disappearing where the model is still modded, but the textures alone are fucked.

IF it's just the TEXTURES that are fucked, then use TSR, Moonholder fix will do it for you.

IF it's the MESH disappearing then you'll need to increase Mesh LoD FoV in XXMI settings by like 100 or something.

 

You have to actually specify if it's mesh or texture LoD issue, they're 2 different things with 2 different symptoms, limits and solutions.

TSR은 두 기능 모두 안정적인 텍스처를 구현한다는 점에서 유사하지만, 구현 방식은 매우 다릅니다. 특히 슬롯 매칭 및 텍스처 블리딩 문제에서 안정성이 뛰어나기 때문에 TSR 방식이 훨씬 우수합니다. 따라서 TSR이 여전히 선호되지만, RabbitFX를 사용하지 않는 사용자에게는 텍스처 해시에 의존하지 않는 대안을 제공합니다.

 

TSR > 안정적인 텍스처 > 퍼지 매칭 + 직접 슬롯 교체 > 원시 직접 슬롯 교체 > 표준 해시 기반 텍스처 교체.

 

제가 방금 말씀드린 모든 것에도 불구하고, Huiyoo는  여전히  FX맵 제작에 RabbitFX를 사용했기 때문에, 이 모드는 엄밀히 말하면 RabbitFX가 필요합니다.  물론  , 사용하지 않고도 작동할 수 있을지도 모르지만요. 대부분의 플레이어는 오류 메시지를 켜지 않고 플레이하기 때문에 경고음 같은 게 들릴 일은 거의 없을 테니, 모드를 사용하고 싶다면 적어도 한 번 시도해 볼 가치는 있을 겁니다.

If TSR is all it took then I'm glad. 

It's troubling when people come to me about mesh LoD issues 'cus I don't have any problems on my end. It's hard to fix shit when I can't personally troubleshoot things, I'm very much a "feel my way through the process" kind of guy so I'm much happier when the problem is something I can at least replicate, like TSR.

 

Don't worry about giving me work, you at least put in some degree of time and effort to try and understand things on your own and even if it didn't work out for you, the fact that you were willing to try alone makes me 100x more likely to help.

 

I crashed out because above all else, I CANNOT STAND people who do nothing but mooch; people who beg for help without even thinking about trying something themselves, people who expect others to give up their time and energy for free to help them, and worse still, people who feel as though they're entitled to the help when they've done literally nothing to earn it.

Since 3.5 dropped, I've seen far too many people like that here, on AGMG and especially on GB to the point that I just snapped and lost my cool yesterday.

 

I'm more than happy to help people who genuinely want to help themselves, because the act of teaching someone and seeing them grow is rewarding, it balances the scales of give and take so I get something in return for the time and effort I put into helping, the satisfaction of seeing them grow.

 

Moochers, on the other hand, are PURELY take, there's no give on their end, I'm guaranteed to end up negative.

So from this point on I REFUSE to help anyone who's just looking for a free handout, if you have no desire to learn and improve your modding knowledge so you can help yourself out in the future, then you're not deserving of my precious time and energy.

And with all my unending doom and gloom out the way, here's the last Lucilla mod in my backlog. I decided to get all the painful stuff out of the way first, so after this is one more Denia mod then I'm on the home stretch with Yangyang Genrei mods and that's it.

Lucked out with this one, was SUPER easy and the textures were all setup for me, so just a very quick process of adding some toggles. No RabbitFX required, it's using texture hashes and doing it VERY efficiently I might add, plus 1 point for Arca modders yet again.

But I also use QuiteHUD which make 2 mod crash. So is there anyway i can use both hideuid for hide loading bar + tooltip and still keep the quitehud function? I try combine it with AI but still not working.

找了許多方式也有在ini加入許多指令都無效果，已經是更換新版RabbitFX，也沒開啟受傷表現。

 

在共鳴者介面完好的，出來後有不到1秒會表現完好的，但是很快會變回破圖的樣子。

It's the flavour of Chinese mods, they make the most beautiful mods but they're filled with errors, ini inefficiencies and terrible UV usage leading to repeat textures and a bloated file size, all of which I'm willing to tolerate 'cus damn some of these mods do look REALLY good.

Also I can just fix half the issues lmao

 

I don't know what toggles this mod had to begin with tbh, I saw that it was Morning star and I literally just got to work deleting everything immediately and only discovered what was in the mod as I checked each individual draw call to rebuild the toggle from scratch. Maybe I made the mod better, maybe I've provided nothing of value.

All I know is that his mod is full of error prompts and this rewrite is not, plus instead of using direct slot replacement, this uses RabbitFX (I had to swap, there weren't any hash overrides left).

Usual suite of fixes and optimisations, restored toggles and sliders blah blah blah.

I swear I'm missing something with this but I can't figure out what it is. I checked the shapekeys and they're working, I made sure to add ini logic to stop clipping with the dildo and the anal rod, I added the icon changing logic to the animation buttons so they change when the anims are active, I made sure all the sliders are working. That has to be it right?

 

Anyway, speaking of the animation, there is a BUG that kong left in incompetently, the shapekey for the dildo anim is broken and doesn't apply to the full dildo mesh, but only part of it so the anim looks broken. Unfortunately there's nothing I can do about that, the shapekey itself was fucked in blender so that's that.
