I'm not doing so good, I had a bunch of pre-amble ranting about Zani mods, but something terrifying just happened IRL and I just want to go to bed...

 

For reasons I frankly cannot be arsed to explain, the ult form has no toggles. DO NOT ASK me to add toggles to the ult or I will personally order an orbital strike on your house, asking me to add toggles would be literally asking for me to be tortured.

The belt has to stay on otherwise there'd be a massive hole, do not complain about it.

Wuwa updated hiyuki hashes, the new one is "91cff509", the old hashes is d83b3034. 

Just replace the old hashes with the new ones.

I tried draw call reconstruction but it seems that both the lines and the patches are drawn together and not seperately. I was able to seperate 96 vertexes but the rest drew the patch along with the strings so theres wasnt much I could do.

Have you checked for conflicts with other mods?

Have you made sure your LOD settings are correct? (Use all mips option in XXMI launcher, or set LoD bias to ultra in game)

Do you have RabbitFX installed? (I will NOT accept complaints)

I ask myself this a lot when looking at Chinese mods, "Is there any reason those normal maps NEED to be 8k? And why do you have multiple of them?" I think a lot of modders just don't give a fuck about filesize, "Why yes! The average mod should indeed be 1.3 gigs! Who the fuck cares about VRAM?" which is the reason I appreciate Woju even if not all of their mods are my cup of tea, just for the sake that he and other accomplished modders do know how to balance texture quality and filesize.

 

Am I bringing this up because this Huiyoo Hiyuki mod is filled with duplicated 8k textures and normal maps that bloat the file size of this mod to a ludicrus 1.3 gigs while STILL having missing texture errors, when that shit is completely avoidable? Maybe, maybe. Some modders just do not care, a line that can be applied to pretty much every aspect of modding.

Lurker here. Firstly thank you for your time and secondly thank you for this mod! Would it be a problem if we made the texture files smaller? Not everyone can do raytracing on their raytracing and i'm very much interested in saving vram and using more mods if possible. I'm wondering what would be a practical solution on our ends.
