I think the person is using "Namespace" technique to have two different mods of the same character to work without glitches.  From my minimal experience using namespace on mods, I think the poster left a lot steps out of the process.  I imagine there are some tutorials and better explainations on how to use namespace, if you figure that out it might help understand what that arca poster is explaining.  If you are a hands on learner, I did upload a taoqimerge that uses namespace technique if you want to look into the ini files and see how it works, there are variables in most of the ini files, the first attempt I thought I just needed the master ini and didn't do anything else.  It didn't work, I had to go through each ini file and add in variables to each "[TextureOverrideComponent]" and possible some other areas.  Good luck, and if you figure it out feel free to share how it's done.

You got lucky both the mods you wanted to use handle the skeleton the same way, so there is no 'hair wobbling when the character moves' issue the last cantarella mod I tried to merge suffers from.

That's strange, how does it crash?  Does crash as soon as you change to the character?  The more details the better, I'm happy to try and help but I didn't have any crashes when I used the mod and I cant think of any reason there would be a problem with the mod unless the folder name is too long, you could rename the folder to just "CanterellaMerge".  Can you run the original Cantarella elegant mod without any crashes?

Default toggle :  arrow keys, + ctrl, + alt, + shift,  "." ,  ","
Figure them out yourself
 

Toggles added:

Jewelery color : 9 
(only 2 cause lazy)
 

FX Glow  : 0
Neck Cloth/Bib Transparency : Alt +  ( =/+ )
White/Black cloths :  ( =/+ )
Strip/Break Cloth toggle : Shift + Up
 

Glow brightness : [ or ] (same as rabbit's hotkey)
 

FX applies only to forte and utl, ping me if you want a toggle for it on always or something
 

Strip toggle breaks clothes when Carlotta Forte is Full and When Utling
Forte - Less clothes
Utl - Mostly nude
 

I think that's it

the game crashes as soon as i put the mod in the mod manager and the game will not open until i take the mod back out
