Maybe you need to use the fix tool for some of them

Hi

I've been looking for more effects and experimenting with them in the Reshade add-on to try to create a preset similar to the one posted above.

I'm trying to create three presets that look similar but have different performance levels: a low preset, a medium preset, and a high preset.

So far, this is how it looks.

Low Preset:

High Preset:

Video Test High Preset:

https://pixeldrain.com/u/gRKXnZpj

As expected, reshade has a big impact on the game's performance, I usually play at 4k and even with the mods it goes at just over 60 fps, with the presets it drops to 25 fps, for the video I lowered the game resolution to 1440p, ran it in windowed mode, then with the lossless scaling program I rescaled it and activated frame generation, it is quite playable.

I don't know anything about programming or what each shader or effect specifically does; I'm just trying them out and figuring things out. Don't expect a very professional or optimal result.

Another detail, apparently to achieve this result you need to apply Nvidia Filters, my graphics card is AMD so I looked for an alternative to reshade and in a forum I found a port of one of the most important effects, but I suppose that a better effect could be achieved if you have an Nvidia graphics card and activate these filters.

I'll be experimenting a bit more throughout the week since I don't have much free time and then I'll upload the necessary presets and shaders here.

Excuse my English, thanks for reading.

Could you please share the preset ? I'd like to test it and to five a feedback about performance on 4k resolution with 5090 onboard

For zhezhi, I think you'll have to manually edit the mod.ini files by opening it up in notepad. Ctrl+F to find the old hashes and replace them with the new.

Old --> New

Zhezhi:
c8b08afd --> b4525ff8
4cdc5987 --> a7ff2cab
7ebe61e9 --> 2208a16a

Or use the mod fixer.

i dont have the original one as it was made after inputs from chatgpt and i removed it when after all try & guess it wasn't working. i recreated transparency for chest in this mod.ini based on whats left in a saved chatgpt chat. The issue is that when camera is far it shows dark texture but when camera is very zoomed in it behaves normal.

dark texture from far:

transparent in zoom in:

chatgpt said might be lighting/shading/render order issue, experimented a bit with cull,depth,depth_write and zwrite along with changing draw calls order but no results.

mod ini with transparent chest.7z 3.13 kB · 7 downloads

I think it doesn't work at all haha. Anyway, I couldn't make it work either. It just makes the skin behind the cloth to be transparent too no matter what I tried.

The last think I could think of is to try asking on AGMG discord, maybe someone knowledgeable will help.

anyone got an outline remover, and how to install it?  thank you!

Put the .ini file inside mod folder. Press for toggle.

Was wondering if any genius could help me out, cause I tried everything I could think of.

For some reason, my brightness slider in settings doesn't seem to change anything in the overworld. It does affect the character screen though:

What I've tried:

  • launching without WWMI/XXMI
  • reinstalling nvidia drivers
  • deleting Engine.ini so a fresh one is generated
  • changing the brightness setting manually in LocalStorage.db

Anyone have any idea what's going on here? I used to have my brightness set to like 10, it's too bright currently. The saturation and contrast sliders work fine, it's just the brightness slider that won't work.

How can I get the hashes for the other old mods?
