Yae Yae Posted June 9 Posted June 9 Hello everyone, can anyone please give me the Telegram group link for Wuwa Mod? Thank you.

I wasn't even replying to you in the first place, and you already felt attacked for telling some random guy, "Hey, chill out, there's no crusade to make you stop masturbating to undressing anime girls" XD yeah thats why i was saying communication issue, that's my fault, noticed it too late, my dyslexia destroyed me there, Sorry about that, hope we are on the same page now XD 1

XD And don't worry, fear is normal. But until the XXMI team says, "Enough, we're done, this is unfeasible now," don't think they're going to break anything. In the end, it's what I said: Kuro doesn't care if we modify the game or not. They only think about optimizing the game and will do whatever it takes to improve it, even if it means breaking some important function for us. But they don't want to stop us from using mods. And as long as that stays the case, everything that breaks can be fixed ^^ 2

Then everything's OK.

Sangoku25 Posted June 9 Posted June 9 (edited) For anyone wondering why the game keeps crashing. The protection program designed to prevent such bugs has been disabled. This also caused the LOD files to be loaded. It’s designed to prevent crashes and other errors caused by minor instability. Essentially, we’re now dealing with the kind of limitations you’d expect from mobile games. Unless WuWa reverts this change, many players are going to suffer for it. It could take years for them to properly fix their unstable game. Plus, people with weaker PCs are going to face even more issues. And anyone who thinks they can still play with 16 GB of RAM can forget about it now more than ever. Complain to the person pulling this crap at WUWA. So report the crash errors. Maybe that will help—getting them to admit the mistake and reverse it, if enough people do it. Edited June 9 by Sangoku25 1
infinitybelt Posted June 9 Posted June 9 Is there a fix for the texture not loading when camera zooms out?
PartyBoy1979 Posted June 9 Posted June 9 34 minutes ago, infinitybelt said: Is there a fix for the texture not loading when camera zooms out? Bro, when a solution is found, “SpectrumQT and Silent” will post it on Gamebanana. I'm sure that problem will be fixed right away with an update to XXMI. Although, from what I've researched, you'll have to be patient until the solution arrives. Just be patient. Greetings. 3
Raison.D'tre Posted June 10 Posted June 10 seems the lod thing still borke, character texture is broken when you zoom out,
sss19451450 Posted June 10 Posted June 10 I don't understand what the arguing is about. Mods breaking after a game update has always been a thing hasn't it? Kuro is constantly updating the game, improving systems, and optimizing all kinds of code and mechanics The side effect is that our mods get affected When has that ever not been the case? I thought this was something every mod user should be prepared for Kuro doesn't have the time or resources to worry about whether players use mods or not They're already dealing with a massive amount of feedback bug reports, and development work I've never believed that Kuro has ever actively tried to fight against mods 1

I think it's a combination of the nature of why things were breaking, a general lack of knowledge of how things work and the tendency for people to be unreasonable on the internet. It doesn't help that Kuro has been chasing graphical fidelity and vanity cosmetic features instead of stability and performance. 1
IncogACC Posted Wednesday at 07:17 AM Posted Wednesday at 07:17 AM 8 hours ago, infinitybelt said: Is there a fix for the texture not loading when camera zooms out? Fixable with manual work, you "just" need to use Stable textures from RabbitFX. Moonholder's fix tool also has an option to include derivative (lower LOD) texture hashes which should also fix textures (since you're now modding all LoDs) but I don't know how many characters are actually supported by that feature or whether the hashes are up to date, worth a try though.

In fact, you’re making a fool of yourself by saying this. Besides, as far as I know, we’re all free to express our opinions here. Just do what I do: ignore them. And when you find a good mod, don’t forget to share it on Discord. Don’t be one of those jerks who just asks for mods and never shares anything. Greetings. Reading them? I literally have to scroll through them because they are sandwiching people sharing mods. Unfortunately for you, I don't believe everyone has the right to express their opinions when it's stupid. Also, what does sharing mods have to do with anything I said, is this like a moral high ground thing to make it seem like you're better or something. 1
Raison.D'tre Posted Wednesday at 09:51 AM Posted Wednesday at 09:51 AM (edited) Yea, kinda annoying have to scroll trough the rant that didnt really give anything beside ranting. and basically a filler while i just want to check mods/mods fix or comment from people who give suggestion on how to fix things. Anyway so i dont becomes one of the filler people, I try the moonholder fixer with Rabbitfx apparently it still borke, it does work where you zoom in then zoom out, but when you switch party etc, it pretty much comes back and texture broken again. _Camellya_Slingsuit_TH+.zip Edited Wednesday at 10:11 AM by Raison.D'tre 1

Popular Post IncogACC Posted Thursday at 10:31 AM Popular Post Posted Thursday at 10:31 AM Bringing this to people's attention in case they haven't been on GB in a bit. Curtesy of a few GB users, textures can be "fixed" In XXMI launcher you want to open up settings and engine.ini Next in engine.ini, paste the following line under [SystemSettings]: r.Streaming.HiddenPrimitiveScale=6 The "correct" value is going to change from user to user, it's interesting that the original post said that 6 worked for them 'cus it totally breaks for me, my sweet spot seems to be around the 20 range, 10 breaks before hitting the default FOV limit, 15 starts to break around LoD2 distance and 20 has worked up until default FOV limit (which is only hit in Hyvatia's boss arena so more than good enough) I'd recommend starting at 10 and working your way up. Oh and if you find your engine.ini getting overwritten, then just turn off "Apply Performance Tweaks". The tweaks won't actually be removed until you yourself delete them from Engine.ini, so you can keep the performance tweaks while also modifying the file for the "fix" Last thing, you'll need to set your in game LoD bias setting to ultra high. The only workaround for this is to use RabbitFX stable textures or derivative texture hashes on every single character mod you use. Don't fucking complain to me about it. Here's it working at the limit of default FOV range, the camera only ever pulls back this far in Hyvatia arena and cutscenes so you'll basically never hit the FOV range limit. I call it a fix in quotes because I don't know how long this will hold for, if it'll break from a micro patch or what kind of performance detriment it has, but it's currently working for me and that's better than where I was at before so... your milage may vary. Good luck. Credit to the post on GB 23
