then why are you here, just to complain? People are aloud to be frustrated about updates, Devs broke mods last update too and if they do it again, it could mean they are trying to stop modding altogether, that includes the "Safe" stuff you know lol

the performance of the damn game on dx11 literally improved this patch. it shows that the damn devs are doing this to IMPROVE THE GODDAMN GAME AND OPTIMIZE THEIR SHIT SOO CHILL DOWN MIJO

Don't bring unrelated topics to the Forum please.

As for the breaking of mods, yes it happens often, every time they update a character, update their model or add new ones, the hashes change, no one cares about that, its the fact that the Mod tools are needing new ways to get around the system, change how they inject or run the mods, that's the problem here, not the usual stuff, read the information before saying shit.

okay after reading the slop you was throwing at everyone let me ask you this
what if kurO just decides fuck dx11 lets only keep the dx12 version which doesn't support mods
what you and a lot don't get is ITS THEIR GODDAMN GAME THEY DO AS THEY PLEASE WITH IT YOU DONT GO TO SOMEONE'S HOUSE AND GET MAD THEY CHANGED THEIR CURTAINS OR THEIR WALL PAINT

Seeing this without mods made me really truly appreciate the gameplay. 90% of the characters look random and out of place and half of them look poorly designed clothing wise. I thank the mod community from the bottom of my heart for making these games look better so we can enjoy the gameplay. Thank you.

especially the old 1.x characters they looked like british food deadass💔🥀

There was an update, so you don't have to go through that workaround yourself anymore.

But the LOD data still isn't loading, so it's the same as before.

We had the same problem during the last major update, too.

So, we'll have to wait and see; there'll probably be a solution eventually. It'll likely eat up a lot of time, though. XD

Never said anything about that so why it matter, besides i agree with you, it is their game.. If they do, that would be the Problem and the community would need to fix it, if they can.. that was my point, mods don't work because devs made it harder to mod (even if by accident), for some reason saying that about the current update and sharing your opinion on that and saying its stupid for them todo (if it is on purpose and they were trying to break it), makes people angry lol

https://gamebanana.com/news/21972 and the comments mentioning the injecting the settings.. basically the same thing i said but okay... Might of missed the requirement of needing to inject now but its still what i said, an issue the tool need to work round..

this might be a translation issue??

If I break a glass, can I say it's your fault even though you had nothing to do with it, according to your logic? They implement improvements to optimize their game. It turns out that this improvement conflicts with our game modding tools. Why would that mean Kuro is implementing these improvements to eliminate mods? If they really wanted to get rid of mods, they could, as others have already told you, remove 3DX11 compatibility. Instead, they add improvements ONLY to that version of the game, the very one we use to modify it, so we can play better IN THAT SAME VERSION AND NOT HAVE TO DECIDE WHETHER TO PLAY PROPERLY OR PLAY WITH MODS. What a terrible company, right?

Okay, don't listen to me, I'm just another random person you'll read about online and forget when this conversation is over, but at least have some decency and listen to someone who, as that same person said, has decided to use their time to fix this mess instead of crying like it's the end of the world. I reckon the person who can fix some of the problems this update has caused knows more than you and I combined, don't you think? If that person also doesn't think these problems are because Kuro is trying so hard to destroy the modding community, I think you might start to think the same.

What? What is this? your agreeing with me?? as i said updates are a temporary problem, the time i was "complaining" is when I spoke about the LOD shit their doing and a possibility that they could destroy the modding community if they keep doing it, its a fear what everyone seems to have. its confusing as the people are hocked on the stuff everyone is agreeing to...

*as i said, this could be due to a miscommunication or translation issue but we are on the same side, we agree on the same things but your also going off on this stuff, go back to the part that i was "complaining" about and see my worry, talk about that, not the hash, not the performance, as mods always makes it a little more worse and not the little problems we have each update but talk about the big problem of the tool needing a new work around or way to get a mod to work... Like i was trying to just doing, or at least trying anyways...

It's always incredible to see the surge of people who usually never say anything come out of the woodwork just to argue, like are you here for the sole purpose of bitching on the internet? Do you not have anything better to do with your time? Like me, who spent the past several hours fixing UI mods as usual...

Hmm well I hope it was a better use of my time anyway, maybe I shoulda been arguing on the internet, what do I know.

3.4 damage report:

The links lead to previews for what mods I'm talking about.

Shit that survived:

Shit that needs to be reinstalled:

Miraculously, character UIs didn't break at all so feel free to keep the ones you have, but in light of Scoob's work during 3.3, I'm not satisfied with how I fixed them last time, so even though they don't need fixing, I do plan on doing an overhaul for them, cleaning up some visuals and adding in some new assets. Since they don't need to be fixed though, I'm not gonna rush this like usual, so don't expect them immediately.

Download for UI stuff

Download for the bikes

Speaking of bikes, I did make the framework for that prototype bike mod, the one where each livery has a different animation tied to it for extensive customisation potential, but i dropped the project 'cus the artistic side just wasn't agreeing with me, like I couldn't come up with a visually pleasing way to use the liveries really stupid shape.

I don't think anyone gives a damn about it, but if there is any interest I might pick it back up, some ideas have come to mind.

Here's a preview of what I'm talking about:

qCk5RWJ.gif

Lastly, I wouldn't get too worked up about mods dying this time around, this is the exact same circumstance as 3.2 and Spectrum already predicted this exact outcome (Engine.ini tweaks potentially dying for good in 3.4) so he's probably a lot more prepared this time around.

For now Spectrum is gonna look into other Engine.ini override methods first and if nothing comes of that then he'll probably pivot towards modding all LODs or P-hashes (if that research went anywhere), whichever is better.

Like genuinely these people contribute almost nothing but bitch and moan about mods not working and then disappear when they get what they want and wouldnt even say thank you to the people who gave them the mods. Atleast give it a bit of time for stuff to be fixed not everything will go your way have patience.

and ty for ur hardwork incog on behalf of alot of us here

Did you find how to fix Camellya mod ?

if pressing "/" doesn't make the mod menu show, Zlevir added a failsafe to reset the menu position, listed in the .ini file.

Quote

; Resets menu position
; More specifically, it resets the mod menu widget
; position, made it in case you dragged window somewhere
; where you shouldn't and now can't get it back
; I tried to drag it into some inaccessible place myself
; but couldn't do it, but you can never trust anyone
; not to break it, hence the reset function exists
[KeyMenu.ResetPosition]
;condition = $menu == 1
key = no_ctrl shift VK_RIGHT
run = CommandListResetMenuPos

I had to do this the second time I installed the mod, and it made the window appear instantly

Literally not a day has passed since I last checked the forum, and here you've already written a whole saga... Do you really have that much free time?
My advice - open the game > press Alt+F4 > turn off your computer. The grass outside is green these days.

"failed to allocate remote memory" I'm trying to test it, but it's giving me this error, I've already tried injecting d3d11.dll but the error continues. Did anyone have the same error?

So why did you take it personally when I told the other guy that these problems aren't caused by Kuro wanting to destroy the mods, but are collateral damage from trying to implement improvements for the game? I wasn't even replying to you in the first place, and you already felt attacked for telling some random guy, "Hey, chill out, there's no crusade to make you stop masturbating to undressing anime girls" XD

Can someone ban these guys from complaining whenever a new update comes out and break their mods, I have to scroll through so much shit when I'm just here for the mods.

これで問題が完全に解決するわけではありません。キャラクターが画面に非常に近い場合、またはメニュー画面にある場合にのみ、MODがロードされます。カメラから少し離れると、MODは動作しなくなります。image.png.e5a0ad4c49d1d4d776a9547dba373f79.png

After applying these two fixes and zooming the camera in once, these mods started working perfectly, even when zooming back out. The detail settings are on medium or high. Not sure if this helps, but there you go.

Wtf? 😂😂😂😂.... But why are you even reading this? Just ignore them. In fact, you’re making a fool of yourself by saying this. Besides, as far as I know, we’re all free to express our opinions here.

Just do what I do: ignore them. And when you find a good mod, don’t forget to share it on Discord. Don’t be one of those jerks who just asks for mods and never shares anything.

Greetings.

Let me explain my current situation: After updating XXMI and changing the settings to "inject," the mod works correctly in all areas except Roya Frostlands using the following method: Switch to another character, zoom in to the closest view to ensure the mod loads completely, then zoom out. The mod won't break during this process. However, I need to repeat this process every time I switch to a different character. I've confirmed that this method works in areas Huanglong, Black Shores, and Rinascita, but not in area Roya Frostlands.
