Need Help

i have ZAZ animation added in my load order but cant get it working properly because it doesnt work with a current version of Sexlab aroused that i have, it says its not compatible, any idea as to what i m doing wrong, and this is for Skyrim LE not SE/AE.

I'm not sure how you did this, because Zaz doesn't require any mod other than Sexlab itself. It should not matter what version of aroused you have.

well im not entirely sure if its that mod or just me not finding the right version here is what FNIS is telling me, its not compatible with skyrim, and its under Sexlab arousal(i cant get the photo i took of FNIS to work for some reason, so i just put it into words.)

Skip the photo - copy and paste the text (in a spoiler since it'll take a lot of space).

 

That being said, the first thing to check is to make sure that all your mods (including ZAP and SLAR) are for LE. Mixing versions is a common cause of errors.

This would mean you're using a SE port of ZAZ, not ZAZ for LE.

do you know of where i can find the LE version, or at least the up to date one?

i use Vortex, i have that version but when i download it and enable it, it doesnt show up in plugins even fnis doesnt see it enabled.

That page has several files. Make sure you download the main mod and not just a part or an optional file.

Also remove any other versions of ZAZ you had downloaded or installed before to avoid any chance of conflicts or mistakes.

which one is the main file, cause i didnt want to make a mistake with this one, im not even sure what i grabbed was the main file.

No idea, probably one of the ones that says full version. But note these are txt files with a link to the real file uploaded in Mediafire. It's several GB and I don't even play LE anymore so good luck with that.

So we have four mods mentioned and it is anyone's guess as to which mod is saying which mod is incompatible with what.

But . . . whichever is the mod which stands accused of being incompatible with Skyrim is the SE mod and needs to be uninstalled and replaced with the LE version.

id be playing SE but mine broke and i cant really get mods to work on it anymore, and i have no way to go back to older versions right now.

my issue is finding the right one that works, im currently trying to do that, but im not entirely sure which one is the one i need.

Use this one. ZAP 9 is a huge bundle of stuff you don't need.

 

The download is a text file with a mega link, it's too big to host on LL.

The solution has been provided already. You downloaded the wrong version of some mod(s). Remove said mods and download the correct files for LE.

 

But if you went back to LE because you broke your SE game the issue might be a bit more deep than just this one instance.

SE ill eventually figure out what i did wrong, i always did, LE i did the last guys suggestion and was able to fix my issue with ZAZ not working, so now its not a problem for me.

well now i broke LE, i tried switching from Vortex to Mod organiser 2, but it completely broke the menu of my game, so now im not sure whats going on anymore.

I'm not sure what to say really. I don't play LE, I don't use Vortex and I definitely don't know what you did exactly. But best of lucks.

Switching between MO2 and Vortex isn't going to solve file incompatibility or load order. Pick one, and stay with it. At this point, you probably need a clean install of skyrim to get things back up and running.

sorry for not answering was asleep earlier, anyway i fixed the issue with the version of the mod, and since i know which mods i had set up i just went with a re-installation of the game

For the record. What you find on LL as the ZAP "download" is two things: a link to MEGA and a password (because it's too big to fit on LL). So, you need to download from LL. Open the result in Notebook (or similar). Paste the link into your browser. Once you're on Mega, copy the password you got from LL where it is requested. Then you will download ZAP. This result will be recognized by both Vortex and FNIS.

yeah that worked, but now my only issue is how i ended up with a buggy main menu, where the only things were squares as options and bethesda in bottom left corner of the menu, my only assumption is i broke something when i switch Mod managers, which i honestly shouldnt have done, but i was making mistakes already and that just piled onto it.
