Dod dod Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 While rummaging through the Immersion Isle of Nexus. I found this gem buried in the deep.I found this to be quite nifty, especially if you decide to go hanky panky with beggers.http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/25835/?tab=1&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D25835%26preview%3D&pUp=1
DeadSomething Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 sounds promising, but i'm not sure about compatibility...
Symon Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 I presume it eliminates the 'Cure Disease' spell from the game?
DeadSomething Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 the description says it changes how the potion works: decreasing the disease in steps. i guess that means if you're very ill, you have to drink a few potions. i cant remember if the author mentione the spell.
Dod dod Posted December 6, 2013 Author Posted December 6, 2013 Frankly, I'm also unsure about compatibility. My oblivion is as messy as a Chimera Frankenstein's monster.
Just Checking Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 It sounded cool, but after I installed it I ran into trouble. Certain cells would load, and then drop me into a black screen from which I couldn't do anything. Need to ctrl+alt+del out of it. After some testing, I checked the conscribe logs, and it just kept repeating the same error message when I'd try to enter those cells. My game was still desperately trying to work, but vector trying to apply its new disease lists and functionality would freeze my game. Judging by the comments on the vector page, this is a recurring problem for some people, but I couldn't find a fix for it. Anyone else have this problem? I tried everything I could think of even disabling certain mods I thought might be conflicting.
myuhinny Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 One way to get out of those fall through floor black screen things is to use the console hit the ~ button and type in coc testinghall that will warp you to the games testing cell then use one of the doors in the center that leads to hawkhaven once outside you can use your map to warp out.
Just Checking Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 There was no fall through floor involved. Load screen would end, and everything would just be black. Nothing would respond either, including the console. It would be a matter of "Loading next area" as usual, then just frozen blackness. I considered it was falling through the floor, but after the second time, I'd ruled out the usual culprits behind total black screens. According to the only so active comment section on vector's nexus page, this is its own special problem, I was just wondering if anyone had heard of or figured out a bugfix for it.

I just read your post, and thought others might be interested in this simple mod that lets you teleport from indoors/outdoors/everywhere. yes it's cheating to loot a dungeon and teleport out from the bottom, and doing so on certain quests will kill the quest, but it's great otherwise. also, this is not the teleportation mod that lets you mark places, and go back, this is just a simple mod that lets you right click "teleport to" map markers, as an alternative to left click "fast travel" even if fast travel is not allowed from that location. http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/29794/? another advantage of teleport vs fast travel relates to horses. when you fast travel to a city, "your horse is stabled outside" when you fast travel to say an oblivion gate, your horse gets dragged along with you... with teleport your horse stays at home / you don't even have to have a horse.
