When I uploaded the new patches this morning the Carnal Court worked fine but the bed was persistent (replaced the court). Now after futzing around I can't get any court except the default Andalusion court AND Carnal Court isn't working again. Literally crazy-making. Your patches are a godsend, but I just can't get this to bloody work now.

Hi, with the new unofficial fix, the way courts are done was changed a bit, i guess make sure you only have 1 CBO CS Patch at the end, so like instead of having both a CFP+EPE+SD2 and CFP+EPE+Statues patch, use the CFP+EPE+SD2+Statues, as otherwise maybe they conflict and cause weird issues for the courtroom.

hamletsdead Posted August 3, 2024 Posted August 3, 2024 Welp, I'm sorry to report that using the use the CFP+EPE+SD2+Statues+CTR Patch I'm still not getting the animations. I get the actual throne rooms to pick between and now for some reason I get animations with the normal Make Love interaction (though there are weird black lines on the bodies), but the Carnal Court Make Love option throws me back into the Andalusian throne room with my king and queen sitting naked on their thrones and the options for sex to the right (but they don't do jack). And, hate to say this, but the SD2 clothing somehow all disappeared from barbershop. No robes, no succubi armor in the dropdown menu anymore. Sorry to be such a PITA, just kills me that I had the whole damn thing somehow working two weeks ago and now it's turned into a sh*tshow.

Hi, for the SD2 clothing, seems like I missed updating the custom clothes file, hopefully that works now. I checked setting the court to Andalusian, and then trigger a court scene, and it worked for me, with this load order:

After installing it today I noticed that the default royal court screen is of the bedroom, meaning you can't hold court or see your courtiers. Is there some benefit to be gained from adding the Animations+, CAP Unofficial Fix etc mods back in? The animations are all working fine in carnal court now, and there's 10+ positions to choose from, so not sure why I'd add them back in unless they added 3-somes and/or multiperson orgies to the carnal court with working anims, or something else to add flavor.

Hi, Its mostly about variety, if you are not bored of the current animations, you can probably skip them. CAP has more animations (each time you click the category, it selects a random one from that category), but it adds a lot of event files (one for each animation) and is still rather buggy. Dont think there is any animation that involves more than 2 person. Ill probably work on the carnal court next, try to make it easier to select animations, without needing so many event files, so CAP and CA+ integration would be simpler.

I am currently looking as well how to get all animations into Carnal Court Lite.

Hi, the main source of inspiration would come from this mod: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3238266007 So instead of having different animations, and setting those animations at the start of the event, have 1 single animation, and change it based on variables. Hopefully its easy enough to do, but seems like that mod spends a lot of effort on timing animations as well, so wonder if changing animations mid animation would be bad or something similar. The other issue is that there are currently 5 different locations in the royal court, and 4 different camera, so i think there might still be a need for 4-5 events, which would select where the animations are played, and then have some separate gui elements to switch between the animations, maybe placed on the left side (idk, maybe some buttons + scroll) that would change the variables to switch to different animation. Also if you check the gui file in that mod, you can see that it implements timers with widgets and states that trigger scripts on start and end, so could also try time the animations, and queue up or stuff like that, not sure. One thing for sure, need to reduce the number of events, because the current way of having a damn options section in all events to go to all other events just doesnt scale.

Now that I think of it, I actually made something like this for CK3 1.6: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2811048141 1. Create a Position in the scene_settings folder and give it multiple roles 2. In the character_roles folder, define triggered_animations for the roles. Save character_flags on the ruler (owner of the court), so the roles can access them. This way, when you open an event, you don't need to specify anything regarding animations. I doubt the game will switch animations during the same event, so you would probably need to reload it...

Then exit the court ignoring the event, open the cheat menu and edit the character's trait and even age! After that you can resume the event. 1

I first tried to base it on SD2, but it was a mess, so went with Carnalitas and added what i think might be absolutely minimum. Ill try going with SD2 as base again, and figure out how to add Carnalitas stuff, but maybe wont be able to add all Carnalitas stuff.

Hi, ill look into it, when patching I ran into issues with characters just being invisible, or not looking remotely similar to what the original character is, so will need some debugging to figure it out (also seen logs in error log), tho in theory it shouldnt really conflict much with CBO or Carnalitas so not sure why it would not work. Last patch i did add the carnalitas traits to statues patch, in theory if you have the traits like big tit trait, those should transfer to the statue, but idk if it works well enough. (maybe i also need to remove the other traits, and add just fails or smth, not sure) 1

Hi, there is a non CS based AGOT patch, i'll probably make it use CBO CS at next patch, otherwise would need to keep both modes up to date, which would be painful as AGOT still keeps adding new clothing. 1
