Character nudity used to be on adult age, 16 but now it only allows 18. Do you have a way to revert the condition back? I'm using a mod that doesn't age the character when they become adult.

Hi, CBO considers a character to be an adult at the age of 18. Theres a forum rule against underage nudity, and also the game treats characters that are age 16 differently compared to those that are 18, so while the character might be considered adult at 16 in terms of traits and marriage, when it comes to the portraits, the game also considers 18 to be the age of adulthood. So for example, vanilla CK3 will put night gown on characters aged 16, but not on characters aged 18.

So probably just easier to change that aging mod to kick in at age 18 or higher. If you tell me which mod it is, I can try create a patch that changes it.

Hi, I think you can do it in debug mode, but probably not supposed to do it with PA, as the traits are not really the ones that are important, its the variables. I think the traits are mainly there to show the value for the variables.

it's there a way to force variable? or do i have to rely on RNG?

Hi, In debug mode you can change them, or with the barbershop PA patch, that also changes the variables themselves. (like if you change the bust size in barbershop, you are changing the PA values, so after a few days, the trait should update to reflect this change)

Not sure about generally changing variables, I think you could edit the save file, but that would be pain in the ass to do.

the changed variable would be passed to offspring or would the original one be passed?
(sorry for the questioning but I'm trying to understand how the mod works under the hood)

Hi, there is a gene variable, which is what your character has, and a genetic 1 and genetic 2 (in the barbershop I called the min and max). The gene value is supposed to fall inside the genetic 1 and genetic 2 values. When a child is born, it will pick a range randomly for the new genetic 1 and genetic 2, based on the parents genetic 1 and genetic 2 ranges, and then from this range, it will pick the gene value. I think maybe there is also some mutation or something similar (so small random offset).

Its not me who made the mod, so this is just my interpretation of reading (so might not be correct)
"physical_attributes\common\scripted_effects\add_physical_variable_effect.txt"

@csirke128 Thanks mucho for the CBO+EPE+CFP multipatch, it's working perfectly in-game. The only things that aren't working still with EPE are Elf Destiny and Sappho's Daughter 2. Even with their CBO patches installed they still cause a CTD on character creation (ruler or adventurer). Any chance of adding them to the EPE multipatch, or add EPE patches individually for them (since not everyone plays with both installed). Thanks again for your almost instantaneous updates!

Hi, havent looked into pregnancy mesh as much, I'll probably add a way to trigger it from barbershop, and look into it. I think maybe pregnancy add fat or bigger breast, and I think CBO might be handling it a bit differently, but not sure.

Could also be that it just doesnt work well with 12-13 year old characters, due to the blendshapes behaving differently for under 18, like there are a lot of trickery to appliy certain blendshapes to those under 18, and not over, but I think pregnancy should work.

Do you know, if this happens for all clothing, or just some? I think most clothing should have shrink applied, but maybe it also doesnt work well enough with pregnancy.

I found the problem. The reason is that the cbo revealing you made before defaults to revealing the female characters' clothes. Can you make a new version?

1.6 CBO is flagging as a virus every time I try to download it; just to make you aware :)

Hi, yea seems like AVs dont like 7z files, there are also zip file downloads, those seem to not get flagged.

Pretty sure its just false positive, the files in the mod are txt files, and paradox specific file formats, no binaries.

Maybe I should move back to using only zip files, but the 7z file is like half the size of the zip file...

Hi, updated the EPE and CFP+EPE, hopefully this time it wont crash.

I'll start creating more of these combination patches, but probably on the weekend.

@csirke128 Hey, great job! Will you consider updating CBO Vanilla as well? I liked it and would like to use it alongside CFP and EPE.

Hi, I think the current one should still work, I think the only modification I have made since is I added a shrink for breasts, but thats only an issue with bigger breasts anyway.

Hi, not sure I understand, what changes would be needed? I think it should still work. Or is it that the clothing had no revealing version, and thats why it was clipping?

When I don't use CBO revealing, I find that all female clothes have no revealing version, and there is no effect when selecting the revealing option, but when I use CBO revealing, some female characters' breasts will show through the clothes, and some women's belly will show through the clothes after pregnancy. All this happened after the new DLC

Thank you, I seem to have it working now although i haven't play tested much.

1) I used your load order, including the ED CBO patch and the Lazy CBO Patch you provided

2) At first it still wasn't loading, but I realized it may be a problem with clothing since my characters displayed on the main menu were wearing a mix of revealing and lazy clothes. I loaded an old merge mod, removed the clothing and set all to default, and then was able to load your load order with updated mods.

Hey csirke128, I've been having trouble getting the game to load to Main Menu after the recent west slavic dlc and mod updates. I was wondering, is this patch you made for me still compatible with your other updates? My other CBO unofficial and CFP patches are updated.

Thanks

I guess you had issues with clothing, that has no revealing option. the issue is, that when revealing clothing is enabled, it no longer does some of the shrinks, so probably why things are clipping. I'll try fix it, so that I can mark clothing with no revealing, which would still apply the shrinks or something.

Would it be too much trouble to figure out a patch for this mod: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2874007571 ?
When you use CBO with it, actor portraits are just invisible (and not the hidden portrait of the mod).

Hi, what is your load order? Did you load it last?

For me it seems to work,. tho tried it without Carnalitas, but the only thing I can see that might conflict is the carnalitas character gui file (which adds things like slave tab)

I can try create a patch for that, but can you confirm if you put the mod last in the load order, it still has issues?

Hi, its supposed to work with the slavic dlc, can you share a load order and error.log? Some of the mods were not updated yet, but the only thing that would be broken by the slavic dlc, is that you cannot select the new slavic clothing in barbershop, should not cause a crash.

I fixed most of the pregnancy clipping with ultralite by deleting the 98_pregnancy file in CBO base so moving this file to the mesh should fix this clipping for all versions

Thanks for keeping this mod alive 👍

Quick question, the bust slider always seems to be "vanilla" for me? Even when I don't have the vanilla option installed. Doesn't this mod allow you to increase the size more than the vanilla game allows you too?

But other than that, the mod works perfectly, top work!

Yeah, I'm loading it last although I'm not at all certain about my overall load order. I added just a pic of what I see ingame (the empty portrait). If you have load order advice, I'd love that.

[Edit: just realized I left in the Statues patch even though I removed EPE. I remove that and see if that fixes anything.]

[Double Edit: removing the Statues EPE patch fixed the issue. I guess I disabled it when I did my test of turning off CBO stuff and didn't realize it was there.]

[Triple Edit: found this while playing. the CBO animation window has the "Who's That Pokemon Portrait?" shadow overlaying it. (third picture)]

Hi, for the breasts, you either need to use Carnalitas traits (big tits an so on), or disable the game rule that enables carnalitas body parts. Even if you dont have carnalitas you need to disable the game rule (I made it so the rule will be there even without carnalitas).

Idk if changing the default would make sense, so that carnalitas traits are ignored unless you specifically set the game rule.

Hello I've used you're patches for CBO,CFP,EPE and ED but keep crashing on the loading screen? Also how do I see crash reports?

Hi, can you share your load order?

Crash reports are not really helpful, because we dont have the debug symbols for the ck3 executable, so would not be able to tell, what causes the crash (and without the code, even guessing from stacktrace might not be that useful)

So closest thing we have is error.log, there is a log folder next to the mod folder. Sometimes the error.log gives hints why the crash happens.
