[mod] CBO Unofficial

So I have extensive mod use in the past but I am confused of what files I need to use based on the quote of the original post...

"

For game version 1.12.x, it was possible to keep CBO up to date with a patch on top of CBO, but in 1.13.x, the file structure for meshes were changed, so to make it compatible, the files needed to be renamed/moved to their new place.

So the patch was going to be just as big as CBO itself, so this mod will not depend on CBO (until CBO itselfs is updated to the new file structure)

This mod also contains the previous CBO Compatible Skeleton mod, which means the skeleton for the male and female mesh is changed, so that the bones added by CBO are at the end of the bone list, which makes it so that clothing added by the base game or other mods are automatically compatible, just due to missing blending shapes, they might be clipping.

Some other changes were also made to make CBO more compatible with other bigger mods, like moving the CBO added extra clothing genes (these were the religious clothing) to their own genes, this means that the mod no longer changes clothing related genes of the base game, or other mods.

Not all conflicts can be eliminated, for example court rooms will still conflict, also the barbershop clothing list needs the no clothing option added, which will conflict with clothing added by other mods without a patch. (so mods still need patches, but these patches are a lot easier to put together)"

What do i need to do to get CBO to work with the current version with Princess of Darkness (POD)

My understanding is that I need the following (this is the load order as well)

POD (Steam MOD)

Carnalitas

CBO Unofficial Here is where I get confused and need some help. Confirmation if you will...

CBO Unofficial Base - CBO Unofficial Base 1.5.7z (Replaces CBO and i don't need CBO correct?

CBO Unofficial Animation - CBO Unofficial Animation 1.5.7z Is again stand alone and it replaces

             - CBO Animation Pack:

             - Also the Carnal Court Addon: main version and lite verson

CBO Unofficial Mesh - ws0zmSLB not sure what this does and what it needs or is it standalone

PA Unofficial I can't find this but this is a patch to physical attributes found here? or is it Stand alone?

POD CBO Patch

POD CBO Mesh (Optional) needed if i get the above mesh file

POD PA Patch (Optional) needed if I get the physical attributes

Load order without all the link for ease of communication.

Hi , yes I know not all clothes worked, but most of them did, i mean the original clothes before the latest DLC's.  I turned off Lazy's just incase, and i see the option to use skimy clothes in Barbershop, but its not doing anything.  your right its probably not an issue with the file, but instead some issue im having with mods, or maybe barbershop beta.  I am currently trying to create a mod list with just your mods, and see what happens, and see if i can figure out if something is interfering.  Thank you!

Hi, I think that patch should still work. (just checked, and it work for me still) Do you use Lazys? The CBO patch had some issues and made the revealing clothing not appear.

Also, keep in mind that not all clothing have revealing mesh.

You are corret, my bad, I had the wrong load order, all works good now!  i got a little confused with all those new files, getting them in the correct order.

Any news on CBO - AGOT compatches? the thrones rooms are not working in Colonize Valyria submod even with the compatches. How long is it usually between CBO release and AGOT Compactch release?

Completely new to modding CK3

The mods are showing up in CK3 launcher but when I get into game the models are completely messed up/invisible, I downloaded all 3 CBO with proper load order and Carnlitas

Go to page 34, author posted a file there for that, after I asked the same exact question.

Yea I saw that before, its not what I'm really asking for. That mod makes revealing the default for all, including males (certainly not my kind of thing since some clothes do have revealing versions for the males.) I'm looking to only have the women dress like that by default if it adheres to their personality/traits. I do not want women that are supposed to be chaste wearing revealing clothing for example.

This probably isn't the right place to ask about potential bugs with so many mods.  But has anyone experience your wards becoming adults but won't stop being your wards? On their relationships you're not there but on mine both my slots are still allocated.

Hi,

The mod based on CBO, but split into 3 parts. I wanted to make more performance friendly versions of CBO, so previously there was CBO Lite and CBO Ultra Lite, but it was harder to maintain that way, since I would have files that are present in all 3 versions, and i might forget to update them. The other reason is that meshes are rarely updated, so I wanted to split the mod up in a different way, that would allow patching of functionality without forcing everyone to re download the meshes. Tried with diff patches, but I think they dont work well enough, because cannot remove files with diff patches.

So split the mod up based on functionality, if you have a good enough PC, you should get all 3 mods, Base, Animation and Mesh. The skeleton is actually added in Animation, not in Mesh, but the meshes in CBO Mesh rely on the new skeleton (I might look into removing the extra bones from these meshes later, not sure how much work it would be)

So CBO Base adds a new nude body that is higher resolution, more vertex and so on compared to Vanilla. Also adds the extra body morphs, like hip size, shoulders and so on, but its only added to the nude body, not to clothing.

CBO Mesh adds the body morphs to clothing as well, so if you have a character with bigger hips, the bigger hips will also be visible clothed. It also adds the revealing clothings, which are clothing that show more skin. Since its Mange that made these, and I dont have the skills to create them, not all clothing have them. (basically clothing added since 1.12.x, or the mods, those dont have revealing clothing)

CBO Animation is needed for the sex scenes, it also adds the carnal court stuff. I also moves some of the files that are needed for CBO Mesh into CBO Animation, so I can update them without people needing to re download the meshes.

Physical Attribute Unofficial is PA with patches to make it compatible, it should be in the download section, the last file. PA is kinda up to preferences, It makes it so that instead of relying to DNA to shape the body, it uses variables attached to the characters to do it, these variables are shown through traits. The main issue is performance, but the advantage is that it makes things more varied, and allows you to change the body of a character, and then have that be inherited to the child (this is not possible any other way, as CK3 doesnt let you modify the character DNA)

Also, that POD CBO Animation and Mesh depends on CBO Animation, for the skeleton, so  if you only use Base, you should only use Base for all mod patches.

Hi, I'll check, usually the delay is mostly due to laziness, so keep pinging me if a mod is out of date, and I havent done anything about it. (the idea is that there should maybe be a few days, but at most a week delay)

Hi, can you share an error.log? There is a log folder next to the mod folder.

Seems like issues with animations. Kinda strange because the mesh seems to be the CBO one.

Make sure that load order is

CBO Base

CBO Animation

CBO Mesh

This could maybe happen if you have Base after Mesh or Animation.

Also could be some other mod changing .asset files for male/female body, so if you have other mods after CBO, also share a load order.

Does the CBO Vanilla still work?😊

I'll double check, I changed height gene, but seems like thats not touched by CBO Vanilla. So chances are it should still work, might be some error messages with CBO Base only due to missing animations, but it should not cause an issue.

Hi, its probably possible to make it a trait, but right now you can select revealing clothing in the barbershop, so not sure how different that would be (you would add the trait in debug mode?)

Or are you looking for a character interaction, like the Undress mod?

Trojan:Script/Wacatac.B!m found download cbo mesh file unofficial

Hi, there is no trojan in it, CK3 modding doesnt involve binary files.

I uploaded the same mods as zip files (links in the mod description), these are the same files just compressed as zip instead of 7z, and others didn't have a problem with those (so their AV flagged the 7z file, but not the zip file, even thought it contains the same files, and both are compressed with 7zip).

So download the zip file if you want to be extra safe.

Hey I was wonder does anyone know the name of the mod that has the outfit in the picture? I was trying to find it.

You mean in the mod page? I think it was CFP.

I mean like an interaction with the vanilla lustful trait (or you could just create a another trait I guess), lustful characters (the gender could be specified) would by default be wearing revealing clothing. It would be an automatic system.

Csirke128 - I have literally just downloaded this mod, have not even fired it up yet, but seeing how active you are I just wanted to thank you for your efforts ahead of everything else. All communities need a dude (or female dude) like you.

I understand that this mod

is part of this pack, but how do I trigger and let the scenes from this one play out? I cannot figure out how does this work.

Hi, the way it works, is that when you select a category, it picks one of the animation on random. So for example there are like 10 missionary animation, you can keep clicking missionary to trigger the different animations. This is also how the original mod worked.

Trying this with Elf Destiny. During one of the last updates ED fully integrated better barbershop and color picker. I tried it with ED CBO patch and Better Barbershop CBO extension. Thisi is how my character created in ruler designer looks in game: https://prnt.sc/vApP8lxOts4D

Dont load DNA in encoded format in ruler creator.

Disable CBO, load the DNA in ruler creator, then export it out in the text format, then re enable CBO and then import it.
