I'm trying to narrow down what mod is causing my recent crashes, but the error logs aren't helping much. It is just a bunch of this over and over:

 

[virtualfilesystem.cpp:449]: Could not find texture due to 'VFSOpen Error:  not found'

 

Anyone experiencing something similar, or know what it could be?

I think you can get that error, and not crash, so it might not be the actual cause.

For crashes, unless you see logs about running out of memory, or see logs like Assert index out of range, or things like that, your best bet is just disable mods, and enable them until you see the crash.

Hi, does that happen with just Statues patch? Like is it introduced by the comp patch?

 

Can you share your load order and an error.log? The statues patch does mess with shaders, so maybe something related to that is causing issues, but neither CBO nor the statues patch messes with those.

I just now find why chars invisible. Problem with Daughters of Lust. Will try change load order. Or play without statues. Shame. It would be cool for rp a succubus

I'm sorry about wasting your time with this, but I'm a little bit confused. Am I right in understanding that you've split the mod into three parts? On the download section, the description for each part comes across to me as if they all add separate and unique things to the whole package, but then a bit further down it says that the "Mesh" mod is a "even further stripped down version of CBO", so now I don't know what to get. It's also named weirdly compared to the other two in the download selection menu.

It also looks like you have two "CBO Unofficial Base" downloads in the download selection menu? One is marked as 1.5.7, and the other 1.5, but the "1.5" one appears to have been uploaded later than the first one.

Hi, maybe forgot to change the description about stripped down part

 

The 3 mods build on each other, but you can use just some of them.

 

So the 3 usecase is:

 

1.

CBO Unofficial Base

 

This only has the female and male mesh swap, but no animations, so its similar to simple slits + shafts mod.

 

2.

CBO Unofficial Base

CBO Unofficial Animation

 

This has the animations, sex scenes, carnal court, but no clothing meshes. People had issues with performance, and one reason was that the new meshes are just resource hogs (vRAM)

 

3.

CBO Unofficial Base

CBO Unofficial Animation

CBO Unofficial Mesh

 

This is basically what CBO used to be, it has everything, including the revealing clothing.

 

CBO Unofficial Base has a 7zip and a zip download, because some people had AV flag the 7zip part. So there is no 1.5.7, its CBO Unofficial 1.5, with 7z extension

 

Edit: The part about stripped down version was for CBO Unofficial Ultra Lite (which is now CBO Unofficial Base), just forgot to remove the description when I changed from Normal/Lite/Ultra Lite to Base/Animation/Mesh

@csirke128 can you please check out the Sappho's Daughter 2 patch when you have a minute? I'm getting clipping on the cultist robe and the lesbian robe (I think those are the only two 3d assets) with normal sized characters, even those with flat chests. Same clipping on larger bosoms and giants (i.e., the exact same clipping irregardless of size or muscularity). The sides of the dresses around the boob area clip pretty badly.

Does the Statues + CFP patch also need a patch for Choose Throne Room? Wondering if this is the source of the invisible statues people have posted about lately. I seem to recall you had a triple patch (e.g., CFP + Statues + Choose Throne Room CBO patch) in the original CBO files.

Yea, CTR would need a patch due to it changing court room selection, otherwise there would be issues with carnal court triggering in CTR throne rooms.

Same with MHG, I'll create a patch for that as well.

 

The invisible statues happens because Statues patch implements the statues by adding court roles to the court room where the statue characters would stand. (so the statue is an actual person standing there, and you need to set in the court room definition, where and when the character should stand there)  So if there is no patch for a court room, the characters wont be added, so no statue.

(which is probably why the mod author is reluctant to maintain the comp patches, it is a pain in the ass to make courts compatible)

 

Ill check SD2 as well.

Hi, the characters don't show up anywhere as well, even in the main menu. I am assuming that it is due to another mod conflict, as I have a shit ton of mods.

It's fine, I will leave Statues on the side for now.

I am having problems with CBO Animation.  Everything runs fine if I am just using CBO Base, which works great, but when I add CBO Animation this just kills my memory and everything crashes within moments. 

 

I am going to try and reinstall.

No luck. I run fine with just CBO Unofficial Base but when I add CBO Unofficial Animation is just kills the whole game within moments. I freeze and get the out of memory issue.

 

I am using Community Flavor Pack and the CFP CB Unofficial Base and CFO CBO Unofficial Animation patches.  I also have Better Barbershop and Better Barbershop CBO Extension. 

 

I wish there was a 1.14 patch for Carnal Court Lite, which is smaller and less resource intensive. 

 

Any ideas?

Willing to bet Better barbershop CBO extension is what is causing the crashing, happening to me for some odd reason as well.

Getting a CTD everytime I try to load up a save game (since the update to the three separate mods). Disabled all three and the save game loading worked fine. Seem to still be able to start a new game though.

Hi, do you use Lazys Skimpy? If yes, you need to apply this to make it work, currently it conflicts and might make the revealing clothing option not appear:

Hi, Carnal Court Lite is already integrated into the mod (so only Kings+ have court room)

You can also try drop CFP, and see if it works that way, but not much else I can do to make CBO Unofficial Animation more lightweight.

I think you should put Elf Destiny above Carnalitas

Put Lazys before CFP, and apply this update:

Hi, this mod doesn't change clothing textures. Can you check, if you disable CBO if it looks the same?

Some clothing do have accessory variations, and these are set in the clothing asset files, and could have issues, can you share an error.log?
