lol i didnt lie buddy. I said disabling it changes nothing to the lag. I dont know if it fixes the misalignment issues because i didnt test that, im focused on fixing the lag. Also i dont need or want your specific help cause you are clearly incapable of helping anyone with this attitude so

okay so, removing these folders makes the game on adventurer (and ruler) run very very smooth essentially as if i played without CBO enabled (does it only remove clothing and leave nudity on?)

 

testing on ruler mode with these folders inside on a fresh game the month passes in about 2.5 seconds. Without these folders it goes under 1 second. Its honestly not much so the main issue i have is with adventurer mode while having CBO enabled as on adventurer the month takes like 6 or more seconds

CBO adds new blendshapes to clothing, so you can have different sized hips/shoulder/waist/butt, and also since the body mesh is different, the original clothing might not be aligned to the body mesh correctly.

Also the _rev folders are for revealing clothing, that you can select in barbershop, or some mods like regula magistri might enable.

 

So if you dont care as much about clipping issues (tho the base game clothing might not clip as much, as they are rather bulky), or dont need revealing clothing, you can probably live without them.

alright well thanks i know what to do now then. Just hoping u can use my feedback, i dont know if others experience this lag issue with cbo on adventurer too but i do so im putting it out here

Thank you so much for keeping this awesome mod going.  Unfortunately, the Mega link does not work for me, as it keeps telling me I've run out of Chrome Disk Space.  Is there some other thing I need to do? I'd rather not download the app if I can help it but I will if I have to.

Mega has daily ratelimits on users, the app helps with this, by pausing the download and resuming it when the ratelimit ended (i think it caps like 5GB per day or something similar, not sure, what is the limit now)

No, you only said it changes nothing, while also complaining about misalignment issues. Try being less arrogant and ungrateful next time someone gives troubleshooting.

I had that same issue, when loading a female character preset the ruler designer would only show the male version. But once I started the game it had the correct female character. Maybe something with CBO, or looking at my mods maybe it's "Disrobed ruler designer" which is old as hell. I haven't done the tedious testing of one mod at a time.

 

That's the problem with any big CK3 update, it always takes a week or two for all the mods to get fixed. In any case, you're doing a great job @csirke128 and I really appreciate all the hard work!

 

Edit: Commented too soon. Saw the reply about exporting the DNA then pasting it on a new character, that fixed the issue. Guess I'll have to delete all my old ruler presets.

From the picture you shared, thats what it looks like when animations are messed up. (they affect bones in different order, so the animation for lets say the hand, gets applied to the leg, and so on, leads to spagetti people)

Fair does. Poor guy is working like a fiend to get all these patches out, I can't blame him for not managing to keep the description updated alongside.

 

I wish it worked like a git repo, so that we could try and help with merge requests or something.

Yea, all for all screen shots I'm using Better Barbershop. CBO adds too many new categories to barbershop, so without BB, the barbershop is rather unusable.

EDIT: the PA debug options seem to be only available on player character, but not anyone else.

Hi, checked in debug mode, I can see the options for other people as well. Can you check again? I think the way debug interactions didnt change, so dont see differences between what base game does and what PA does. I think the events also work, but didnt use PA much. (so the events do change the body)

Hi, for me its pretty similar fps with and without CBO, around 100 when its just the map open, and 70-80 when there are more characters on the screen.

Without CBO I had 8GB vRAM usage, and with CBO it went up to 9.5GB vRAM usage, could it be you ran out of vRAM?

Hi, are you using version 1.0 or version 1.0.1?

If you are on version 1.0, can you extract this and overwrite?

Also, make sure the character is over 18, otherwise the option wont appear.

Maybe learn to write coherently then? You complained of two issues, not just the lag. You got a solution to one of the issues, and doubled down with the attitude.  And yes, I humbled myself and edited the 2nd reply to be less confronting, I reflect on my words, too bad you don't have half the brain to do it also. In real life, I would be surprised if you knew how to tie your shoes, given that you couldn't think through to check for outdated mods and throw a hissy fit when someone points it out
