Hi, Yea the newly added clothing are still not great, I've spent a bunch of time on them, but will need to redo them again. Especially bad with big bust, because the clothing are rather low poly. And havent even started on the male clothing yet, wanted to do the CBO Animation pack stuff first.

Hi, do you mean change it to revealing clothing? I can try look into creating a game rule for it, or a small mod, currently some mods like RM2 enables revealing clothing for charmed characters.

As far as i know, there is no way to change the color of clothes anymore, paradox broke that in 1.13.x

Yea, you are right, the stockings cannot be selected, I need to check why that option doesn't show up.

Not sure what is missing about hair, I think CBO modifies some existing hair, not sure if it adds new ones. I'll try check maybe there are some stuff that was not added even by original CBO, yet there are meshes for it.

Getting a good load order with all these mods is a nightmare. I wish there would be a all in one compatibility patch ^^

Hi, yea I'll probably add that as well, but might do some other things first (byzantine clothing, deal with the shoes). CBO Animation+ adds the animations a bit differently, and I want to do some other changes to make it so all animations are handled the same (also hopefully there won't be a need for 200 event files that CBO Animation adds)

I found a problem. I installed the Barbershop CBO extension. When I use the CBO gene to modify the breast size of female characters in the Barbershop, increasing or decreasing the size by 5% will make the breasts of female characters much larger than before the adjustment. I did not use mods such as CFP or EPE that modify the character's genes. Is the problem caused by the game not successfully reading the female breast size?

Well, it "sorta" works. You get some messed up clothing in central Asia and Korea. As always with CBO, CFP and all the other clothing mods it really gets messy. As long as there is no update on these compatibility patches there is no chance one will get them to work together. Even then it will be a hard time, I guess. I am no modder, but I thinkt combining so many variables is just impossible. So thank you for your effort in doing it anyway ;) You're the best!

Edit: Forgot to mention, don't know which mod it is but something is messing with my "you can make love" in the notifications window. Probably an UI mod... gotta figure that one out, too ^^

Thank you for your hard work, but I've encountered an issue while playing. After applying the CBO Unofficial mod, the beautification effect from the 'beauty_good_3' trait no longer seems to work for my characters. Do you know why this might be happening?

Hi csirke, what would the load order be for CBO, carnalitas, CFP and MB+ together? Do I need any compatches?

Hi, there is no way to read the breast size from script (you cannot get any gene values, maybe due to how the game stores these internally, its just not easy for them to expose to scripting).

PA was created, to make it possible to do it, but it does it by setting the breast size on the portrait based on a script variable, not the other way around. So with Barbershop CBO extension, its same, it cannot read out the current value. I'll probably try debug it a bit further, because there is no reason the breast size should jump like that, like this is the code:

                gene = gene_bs_bust
                value = {
                    value = var:bust
                    multiply = @bust_multiplier
                }
            }

so it should just add the value of var:bust (multipler is 0.5), and thats it, but seems like it somehow also resets it to a certain value and then adds the var:bust. Not sure if maybe it could be related to priority these portrait modifier files are taking effect, and there is another file out there messing with things, or things like that.

 

But for now, yea, its expected.

Hi, can you share your load order? That hair is not modified by this mod, and no mod should really try change attachments folder, as the file structure was changed to move the hairs elsewhere. Might just be some out of date mod that you have.

Hi, this mod doesn't change the beauty trait, its handled by 01_genes_morph.txt, which is not changed.

Can you share your load order, maybe some other mod is doing it. I checked and I dont see any difference between beauty 1, 2 or 3 (based on the code, these 3 traits do the same thing, apply some textures on the face)

Hi, MB+ is not yet updated to 1.13.x

 

If you go back to 1.12.5, there is a load order in the EPE mod page:

(In the future, I'll probably move the CFP+MB+ patch to the CFP mod page)

I'm using their unlisted alpha version that makes the game playable with the newest ck3 patch until it's updated, but I have naked byzantine and chinese characters (the chinese might be because the main mb+ mod isn't updated) and with CBO, some facial features, especially lip sliders don't work (glamour lips for example)

 

before the update, I was playing with this load order and it worked. now that EPE is not functional, i don't know what compatches to use and which not to use

Hi, you are better off going without any CBO patch.

I think the characters being naked is not a CBO thing. Like you can probably turn off CBO, and see that the characters are still naked.

If you cannot wait for a comp patch, you can create one manually to solve this, by editing common/genes/* files.

Basically, you need to look at what this mod does:

Then the issue you will have, is that the clothing wont be in custom clothes, because CBO overwrites that file to add the naked clothing option.

Also, court rooms will have issues, so you need to merge what CFP CBO Patch does, and the court rooms added by MB+ (which is same as in ROA)

 

If you dont want to mess with files, I think your best bet is something like:

CFP

MB+

Okay thank you, the load order works fine with the clothing, the only issue that remains is that certain facial sliders in the character creator do not work, for example glamour lips. If I enable your EPE CBO patch these genes again become editable (visible changes when moving the sliders) but sadly all characters wear black clothes, since EPE doesn't work.

is there any way to make these genes customizable?

(tested with your load order, no other mods)

Hi, I'm guessing then its added by EPE, so wont work without EPE. The EPE CBO Patch doesnt contain the textures, so you would need to grab those from EPE

But then you are getting into the how to make EPE character changes work without EPE clothing (as clothing is not yet compatible), and thats a rabbit hole not worth going down :)

So probably better of just waiting for mods to update, or trying to get the same stuff from other mods.

but aren't these genes added by cbo? Like the eyeshape slider doesn't work either, even when there are no EPE related mods in my playset

Hi, CBO adds some eyeshadows and lipstick, but EPE also adds eyeshadow and lipstick. Not sure which are do you mean.

Can you show a screen shot of barbershop?

Like in the mod page, there is a screenshopt, the categories Eyeliner, Eye Shadow, Lipstick, Makeup base, Eyeliner extension are added by CBO, but are you looking for these, or some other things?

I dont think CBO changes eyeshape, thats done by EPE.

I dont think CBO changes eyeshape, thats done by EPE.

So these are the main ones I have noticed so far, moving the sliders doesn't change anything on the character, no matter what subcategory is selected and how the slider is moved.
