maverikno1 Posted May 2, 2025 Posted May 2, 2025 My game is crashing in the year 2270 and i tracked it to this mod. Anyone know how to read this crash error? [14:47:09][effect_impl.cpp:9781]: Failed to assign council position to council: file: scripted effect lvtt_set_council_position at file: scripted effect lvtt_initiate_eroticratic_council at file: events/lvtt_government_events.txt line: 17 line: 1 line: 1 [14:47:09][effect_impl_leader.h:1110]: Can't assign to Council position that doesn't exist in government: file: scripted effect lvtt_set_council_position at file: scripted effect lvtt_initiate_eroticratic_council at file: events/lvtt_government_events.txt line: 17 line: 1 line: 1

Katz Posted June 19, 2025 Posted June 19, 2025 Could we have an update to this one please? 2 sexy traditions from lv are not enough, need moooarr.
Firefox666 Posted June 29, 2025 Posted June 29, 2025 mismatched version detected (site:4.0,file:3.14)
tappi Posted June 29, 2025 Posted June 29, 2025 Would it be possible to add new zones for jobs that existed as buildings in 3.14, for example, zones for concubines so you could truly make a concubine world and so. I've played around in some mods code and it is now possible to add zones to the government district without even overriding any files. Great mod.
TarDust Posted July 2, 2025 Posted July 2, 2025 Trade conversions are now included within the trade policies in the 00_policies document which the mod does not account for.
draconon97 Posted July 3, 2025 Posted July 3, 2025 Can confirm, it seems for some reason tempting tides wants to consume all extra trade, but not give anything from trade policies. And I've tested my mod list, including only having temptibg tides and its requirements installed
SirSwordsalot Posted July 3, 2025 Posted July 3, 2025 Getting a crash at around the year 2343, month 7, day 5 or 6. To be specific, it is a Memory Access Violation and i've traced it to something involving Tempting Tides as it does not happen otherwise. I have no idea if its TT itself, or if its interacting with something in an unfortunate way as the error log is really just not helpful at all. From the exception.txt: Unhandled exception C0000005 (EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION) at address 0x00007FF6DF1784E9 Nothing I can gleam thats useful from the error.txt, but i do see a lot of errors involving LV? My completely uneducated guess would be that there's a nation spawning, species appearing, or leader/government change that happens at that date where the fatal error comes in. I say this purely because a bunch of wars and several rebellions were popping off around then. I was also conducting the Understanding Infinity special project at the same time, but the crash happens anyway if I cancel it. I had a lot of investment in that run, it was really fun, but I can only continue without TT and doing so breaks several things that I had been relying on and just generally I think LV is too bare by itself for a satisfying lewd space empire run.

Did the game include TT from the beginning? When you play without TT, is there any kind of event at that date? Temporary solution. Lest there is an important major event or end game crisis, can you skip that date in console and still continue? Send me a pm with a zip of the crash dump folder and I might find out what's going on. Working on an update to fix various issues and integrate aspects of TT into 4.0.

It did include TT from the beginning. Without TT the only event that happens is the completion of the Understanding Infinity project, cancelling this project has no effect on the crashing. It is only solved by TT's removal (as far as my basic tests go) I have not tested skipping that date in console. I did not know that was a think I can do. I'll try that and send you the dump as soon as I'm free.

I override trade_policy which seems to have changed structure since 4.0. Try the hotfix.
Dur_Mel Posted July 4, 2025 Posted July 4, 2025 Is there a place to check what the new traditions actually do?

Crazy sam10 Posted July 6, 2025 Posted July 6, 2025 It seems that this mod is doing weird things with robots and their job weights. For some reason they refuse to fill worker roles, choosing to be a civilian instead. It's possible it's affecting regular pops as well but it's more noticable with robots. They seem fine filling sex jobs, just not something like miner or farmer.
Pepsipajens Posted July 6, 2025 Posted July 6, 2025 Yep same here, this mod makes robots only able to work sex jobs or civilian jobs.
SirSwordsalot Posted July 8, 2025 Posted July 8, 2025 Recent update fixed my crashing problem. Thanks! Bonus points: Its running extremely well now too! I have no idea if I have this update or Calcifire's update to thank for the performance boost but I'm certainly not complaining. You are both blessings to Stellaris lewd modding.
Hardconcept Posted July 9, 2025 Posted July 9, 2025 I don't understand how to fix the problem I had, I can't upgrade my building into Planetary Administration, I finally using Irony Mod Manager to figure it out but damn I don't get it at all, if anyone having same problem can you share, I'm using MODS (in Load Order) Lustful Void, LV Base Game Overwrite, Mango's Lewd Diplomacy (1.3), and LV Tempting Tides.
yanqui99 Posted July 10, 2025 Posted July 10, 2025 My Unity is tanking when I use this mod. I know its this mod since I take the mod out and my unity grows as usual, and when I have the mod in, my unity never increases or increases very, very slowly. I'm using Loverslab but not using any other major overhaul mod that changes a lot of stuff.
SirSwordsalot Posted July 15, 2025 Posted July 15, 2025 Alright new crashes showing up. I attempted to integrate a subject who had the eroticratic government type. I have repeated it with others who's only shared traits are that they have the same the government type, and were host to multiple species on their world. All have resulted in crashes. I don't know if its just me and my subjects, or if it applies to everyone else too. Something might be wrong with the government type and how it interacts with the world. Taking stuff with console commands has the same effect, and changing my own government had no effect either.
hotenhornay Posted July 20, 2025 Posted July 20, 2025 Would it be possible to create a patch for Ethics & Civics: Bug Branch? As both mods affect authorities, they are currently incompatible. 1

ValenH Posted July 23, 2025 Posted July 23, 2025 Did you fix the issue with the head of research not being assigned to speed up technologies/research on the new government type? Also, it's supposed to be "Erotocracy" not "Eroticracy" if you want to be grammatically correct.

Na, all three vanilla councilheads are vacant when in an Erotocracy and that tends to throw your run off the cliff.

Na, all three vanilla councilheads are vacant when in an Erotocracy and that tends to throw your run off the cliff. I believe this has been brought up before. There are three council positions replacing the vanilla ones and they have to be selected the same way as when you change to any other authority. The missing head penalties are all compensated and displayed as modifiers in tooltips, alongside the penalties. The research menu has a missing portrait though. Grammar will be changed with the next update. Thanks for noticing. Unless I'm mistaken. Ignite the thrusters, for there are no cliffs in the void. Edited July 25, 2025 by printit
