quoting myself from like 2016 but about overall 3d models (like xps models on deviant art) not only game mods:

 

Fictional characters can't be underage because they literally were never born. The problem with real child porn is not that someone got off to some pixels moving on a screen, but that actual children are harmed in the process of producing it. Much like blasphemy, the simulated abuse of fictional characters is a victimless crime. Now, get back to your violent video games, kids, and try to remember when you score a gory headshot, you're not a murderer: it's just fantasy and no one died.

Perfect response to all this insanity. Before I joined twitter and reddit, I didn't even know people compare fictional characters to real people. Why allow murder and gore in games and not think that it will produce irl murderers (which just sounds ridiculous) but have the audacity to say that masturbating to a character created on a 2d/3d software will always lead to abuse of real children? Women raping/molesting boys is treated less serious than this.

I don't translate from japanese, I translate documents from a language to my native language and viceversa. Accuracy is required, I cannot made up translations according to my mood, ideologies or cancel culture.

Localizations, on the other hands, are "adaptations" from a culture to another culture, it does not include only translations, but also visual things, this is why censorship exist.
Since it is difficult to find translators who agree to localize, purposely obscuring or altering certain things, they hire staff who are happy to do so, and in fact there are plenty of pink and blue-haired communist localizers nowadays.
Japanese games are localized for the the American territory because localizations teams are based in California, and they follow the californian laws, politics, and ideologies, also trends.
The localization companies in the 1990s was far right-wing, controlled by strong Christian pressure, now is the opposite situation, it's full controlled by the far left since 2019-2020.

The subject is very vast and I am very knowledgeable, but this is not the right place to talk about it, so I have only given a small summary.... It would take a book to learn all the information.

To conclude, people nowadays thanks to internet know better the Japanese culture, and now they demand translations, not localizations. But this thing is very politic, and it is against American interests to make known different cultures and the true "diversity". They are the ruler of the world, and must spread their Global Standards according to their vision.

Not exactly bad since the meaning is still similar, but they keep inserting dumb joke or current gen's slang that probably will be obsolete in 5 years. 

 

I can't believe we will have Cag's nude mod before panty mod.

all am going to say about this is, West really should stop changing other cultures to suit them and stop telling people who call them out racist because they dont like the changes they made, its really annoying and one of many reasons people are starting to not like anything thats localised from the west. Also is it true that Japan may cut ties with the western translators/localizers because of how they change things or destroy things too much?

 

How long you think it might take to fan re-translation this game anyways? XD

Think people are tired of trends being in games that have nothing to do them them. the 'being obsolete' could also be the reason its poorly received as well, poeple want to play the games they enjoy after a few years and enjoy it, not torture themselves while playing lol

They seem to still be coming out, there is 'uncensored' versions for some of the characters though just like the the rest, models require time to make.

Japan is in a situation where they have far too much political pressure from outside. They could completely become an American colony, as they now promote Multi-culturalism, or the people will rebel in the streets and a new political party will emerge that will bring down the Kishida government. Currently, the opposition is really weak. So I don't know, Japan is unpredictable. Before changes can take place in their companies, their government has to change first, so for now it is too early.

Maybe a year if the are only few people or one person. But this game has multiple language available, so it's not possible to manually re-translate everything. This is why I mentioned AI.

      Also to add upon this most adults voice these characters just cause they look like child doesn't mean ones who voice them are children. Look at persona 3 reload modding one can argue that alrdy child porn in itself lol...... But does anyone care? Nope. Thats too much work banning all those folks. Even custom order maid game thats marked as hentai game has arguable small ladies with small titz can look like kids. Relax n enjoy the mods :) least they ain't being chained up or smacked around or in bondage. Custom order maid is all that included with gang rape Lol. 1. Place the .wtb file you created in the correct folder hierarchy and name.
In the case of this image, it is a splash art, so it should be placed as follows.
FHD : data/ui/fhd/layouts/common/image_chara/noatlastextures
2k/4k : data/ui/layouts/common/image_chara/noatlastextures

 

2. Rewrite the data.i file
The game uses a file called data.i to manage the data it reads.
Therefore, it will not load the data if you just put the file as it is.
By rewriting this file, you can set the game to read the data placed in the directory.
To rewrite data.i, use the add-external-files option of GBFRDataTools.
Be sure to back up data.i before executing, you'll be making irreversible changes.

 

Incidentally, a MOD Manager using Reloaded-II is already available.
If you are planning to install multiple mods in the future, I recommend you to use it.

In case this gets lost. I've 'packed up' Utamaru's work into the reloaded mod manager format. Thanks @yz_ringo for providing the paths. All I did was create the folder structure, move the .wtb's into the relevant folders and create the required .json for the mod.

 

If I didn't screw anything up, this should just work in reloaded (hopefully).
