Here's the post from the Dev's discord, or so I am told. So yeah, "Take your shit back to LL", we can do that. Not like anyone ever thought of sharing this on the Devs' discord in the first place... right?


What if I don't want a mod to rape the pals, but instead to be raped by the pals? Is that OK, since obviously if they're engaging they're consenting to it. ;)

Yes, but I don't think this is the type of game you'll be playing for years

In about a week you can open all the game content and there will be nothing more to do

It seems to me that being raped by the pals is much less weird. This can be justified by the fact that they are wild animals / monsters with an instinct for reproduction / dominance. Pals rape can't be justified because it's literally bestiality

Stop that think about the logic here for just a second:

In Palworld we beat Pals to within an inch of their lift and trap them in a sphere. We can even do this with humans, by the way.

Then after we have the pal (or human) in the sphere we have a few choices of what we can do with it:
We can force it to perform labor for us, harvesting resources, crafting weapons, etc.

We can force it to fight for us.

We can force it to breed for us.

We can sell it for money to someone who is going to do god-knows-what with it.

We can sacrifice it to empower other Pals of the same type.

Or we can hack it to death with a meat cleaver for resources.

 

But somehow, using it for self pleasure, is unjustifiable?

I don't know, nothing sounded weird with his logic. Being honest, if we did want to give pals a consent system, it could be as easy as doing a coin flip when you select the option to bang them. That way it would seem less like they're doing it against their will.

Though that could be a togglable feature, with some pals outright overriding the feature (like Loveander always wanting to bang or pals that don't have animations set up just yet always declining)

And when it comes to wild Pals, they could initiate sex with the player first by just dealing enough damage. That would also have the funny side effect of players getting naked before going into battle since that would give them the lowest defenses.

Can't even change the color of my character so she will fit into any other mods. It doesn't look very nice :(

You can change the color of your character with a save editor. You will have to make a second save to transfer/copy the right values. 

Save editor in browser- https://palworld.tf/      GUI appearance tool on nexus- Save Appearance Transfer

When we replace the head mesh to fix the skin color, the eyes become blue and the eyebrows/beard become orange

These skin bugs generally made me stop using nude mods for this game. I like how the mods look, but if I can't play as my own character, I can play without it.

I do have a feeling that this problem will become a thing of the past once we get the official modding tools however, so I'm mainly hoping people make nude mods for characters besides the playable character until then.

@Alex Sears I have not heard any issues with the gamepass version of the game, other than the game and saves are both in different directories

Game pass saves are in "...\AppData\Local\Packages\PocketpairInc.Palworld_ad4psfrxyesvt\SystemAppData\wgs\"

There isn't much you can do to make it work a hundred percent for every model in my experience. You just have to keep messing with it until you are satisfied. It's a long process of weight painting a little than going into pose mode, moving some joints, looking at the deforms, resetting the pose, painting more, repeat. Mesh design and weight painting is usually up to artists, so it's an art form and entirely up to the opinion of the designer. Just be sure to keep backups files saved in case you mess up your weights and you need to go back a step.

 

If you're going to be making clothes for your model, you want to make sure that the body base is right before moving onto that because you do not want to repeat setting up the outfit to fit the body again. You can reference the deforms on your base model for painting the clothes, also you might want to design your clothing mesh to work well with where your deforms will be. Typically, developers need to be conscious of the animations and their effects on the meshes, which brings us back to the beginning with how the deforms might look in the game. I have not yet made entirely custom clothes in Palworld but I will probably get to it after all the stuff I'm doing is done.

 

Sorry for the dumb, long post. I won't be going on about it any longer, that's all the advice I can give you.

Skimpy armor with a side option of nudity in certain spots are wonderful. hopefully all armor sets get the treatment. where the higher the armor quality, the skimpier it gets.
