He's got some solid points, though I think it could be shared across the span of mod users in general, additionally it's only some of them. The ones that don't read the description of a mod, don't understand what it takes to make a mod, and those who want their specific tastes portrayed in a mod that an author creates. Most of those I've found are Nexus users, truly a minority of all total Nexus mod users at that. I've had people post bugs for obvious information I had posted on the mod description page, it took me hours to make these mods work and they can't even take the time to read the description.

 

I'm not complaining, though. I just see what Lewd Lad means about some users being a little overbearing at times. Everyone here on LL is usually pretty awesome, which is why LL users get access to the mods I make more often than on Nexus.

 

I think once I'm done with my first wave of Palworld mods I'll start working on archiving the methods I've learned from making them and keep them in a forum somewhere. That way we can preserve what we have learned for future modding endeavors.

To clarify as I haven't answered this question yet, I do intend to get to Lily and Zoe once I get the armors put on my nude jiggle body model. I already have concepts for their outfits' skin exposure.

The discord wasn't made for palworld modding, it's not *for* palworld modding.

Everyone has an opinion, but just because someone has an opinion doesn't make that opinion valid.  Most people think they are special and their opinion matters... It doesn't.

 

Having mods spread out over everywhere, in 35 different discords and websites is inconvenient for end users.  It's also more difficult for a large quantity of people to find and use those mods.  But it also means that a mod can't simply disappear unless the author of the mod wants it to and can't be censored out.  There's been several instances where I'm glad that mods are hosted in other places because some places are fickle and decide which mods can appear there or not.  Nexus does this all the time.  Even LL has done this, like with Hogwarts. Having additional options isn't a bad thing. 

 

People griping about it need to remember something.  You aren't special and are entitled to nothing.  Modders typically make mods because they want to use that mod for themselves not because they give a damn about you.  If there's a considerate modder, like Blehbreh, they'll go the extra mile and even make the mod more appealing for more people by adding alternative options and support and updates.  And that's great, you should be grateful for modders like that when they come along.  Some others just try to capitalize, and while I can respect that capitalist spirit, I find it personally distasteful.  But that is a decision they can make themselves.

If I had to guess it's more likely a replacer mod that changed an existing enemy into Zoe. Thugs after a raid, perhaps.

Good guess, but it’s not. Well, I’ll explain. There’s a glitch in the game with which you can catch tower bosses with their pals. For some reason, if you put them (after they death) in an viewing cage, the bosses will separate from their pals and fall to the ground

About the tower bosses, has anyone checked to see if the version of them shown in the cutscenes are separate from the actual bosses?

 

If they are, then I have an idea for a potential mod...

you're seeing what you choose to see. this weird us vs them mentality of modders and users already doesnt make sense given the overlap and makes even less sense given this topic. it benefits all for mods to be in places we can find. joining random discords can be dangerous and unsafe. files from these discords cant always be vetted properly. information gets lost because there's no way to find it outside word of mouth.  having to join dozens upon dozens of servers turns a fun hobby into a mess. these are all valid criticisms.

  no one here is asking for special treatment. no one here is demanding special privileges. people are fustrated that when going to dedicated mods sites set up for the sharing and usage of mods we're met with a confusing web of external servers hosted by sometimes unstable users with the assumptiion all the files they put out are safe. hell we literally just say a modder ask for state ids or birth cirtificates. some of us just want to enjoy mods and modding communities without dealing with this level of drama and confusion. calling that entitled is just counter productive and shows a level of contempt for people just because some users cant read a mod description.

I solved a few things with my mod: Here is some progress with some Pals, i want to add some jiggle physics and second variations of genitalia.  if someone know how to add this feature to new bones in the armature i will be more than happy to update my mod. i will share with you all the first version of my mod. i still perfecting them.
