So... It's a big game, it's out now, seems to be fairly mod friendly...

I'd like to put in a request for some lewdifying of Lethal Company. Get some new, nude and lewd models in. Maybe some potential for animations here and there...

Thoughts?

So a bit of mad inspiration for any modder reading.

You could 100% make a sexual/Defeat mod for Lethal Company and here are basically the steps how you might go about doing it.

1. Player and creature models. It is already possible to swap out creature models as some folks have done things like swapping out the Bracken for Freddy Fazbear as an example. Here is the proof https://thunderstore.io/c/lethal-company/p/OrtonLongGaming/FreddyBracken/ If it can be done with the Bracken, I imagine it can be done with all other entities as well and lewd models could be made for them. The Player model can also be changed easily as there is a mod to change your character into an anime girl. https://thunderstore.io/c/lethal-company/p/mina/Moe_Company/ So this sounds like you can make and change both player and monster models to fit! So the first step would be to perhaps try and set up a baseline model to use for each of these and perhaps even set up a male/female toggle to swap gender. **ADDENDUM** https://thunderstore.io/c/lethal-company/p/FoxGod/ThiccCompanyModelReplacement/ We basically have an extra thicc female model now.. or at least this is POC that it CAN be done even moreso than before.

2. Animations. Now, I know you can add new emotes aka new animations to the player character https://thunderstore.io/c/lethal-company/p/Sligili/More_Emotes/ here is the example, but the issue now stems can you make new animations between characters/monsters? Well, we did have player/monster animations in base game but they always ended up in a ragdoll state. Eyeless dogs would chew you up and spit you out, Snare Fleas would latch onto your face before hopping off after death, Bracken would grab your head, snap your neck and drag you off, etc. However, one of the newer entities, The Masked, actually has a player animation that turns you into a new entity during the animation. (You die basically though...) 

May not be the best video to use so you might want to play some games to see it, but.. it is an alternative state to death so just getting animations to function would be the next step and it does seem possible to inject new animations into the game. Given I have seen new monsters get injected into the game like in the Lethal Things mod linked below under the 3. Lewd Items category, I can imagine you can inject new animations to existing monsters as well. I would suggest when it comes to this with animations either to simplify it, all the player characters are female and all the monsters are male so its just a standard Defeat mod game scenario, or applying some sort of toggle so the genders of player/monster affect the animations that play which would be a lot more work but would allow far more accessibility for the lewd player base. Some people only like M x M, some people only like F x F, meanwhile others only like M x F and there are all sorts of other pairings you could do. Either way, having options would be nice, but to simplify it I think having all enemies be males and the players being females is the simplest way to do it. I also think it would be a funny gameplay mechanic to add in that you can basically sacrifice your friend's 'body' to some of the monsters as a distraction. Like if you're getting chased by say.. a Bracken, and your friend got dropped by a lewd mine (Land mine) and you're carrying their body, you can toss their body behind you and run and the bracken could take it and do what it does while you escape. In all instances of being 'killed' you aren't actually killed in the context of this mod, you are downed. (Although it still functions the same as a death state) Blood Decals could be replaced with cum decals. The turrets instead shoot cum, and the landmines explode into a cum fountain. Some fluid particles, mixed with the new paint can system could easily cover this I think!

3. Lewd Items. https://thunderstore.io/c/lethal-company/p/Evaisa/LethalThings/ There are mods that add in new items. So that should be easy to add in things like dildos, vibrators, buttplugs, etc. as valuable collectibles!

4. The BIGGEST Issue I can see.. is trying to get the lewd mod not circulating in the normal server pool. I would suggest maybe finding a way to separate it from the normal servers, even if its just popping up an error message when someone without the mod tries to join, which I think would be done in the case of a massive overhaul mod like this.

Its possible but i dont see much nsfw mods being made. Perhaps a nude mod or a female mod might be made

The game is made in unity but Im not sure if its possible to add any animations. Only thing I see being possible is nfsw skins and maybe adding dicks to creatures but anything else I dont think is possible.

What could be an avenue is adding sex toys/ porn mags/ posters etc etc as findable loot. I know several mods that add ingame loot Thatd be a good avenue for adult oriented mods I think

It might be possible although I havent seen it yet. I think there is a third person mod that'll allow you to see those kind of things since I dont think much people would want to play a bunch of nsfw mods with eachother.

For NSFW mods since someone did made a mod called "Moe Company" that gives you anime-like character models and different hair options I'd say a nsfw skin would be possible. Imagine a female crewmate model with the option to unzip hers suit I think some people would be into that.

So this issue has been fixed because there is now an entity that basically hijacks the player's model in an entity - to - player animation. So now it is possible to perhaps have a more long term animation.

Yeah we need someone mad enough to make lewd mods of this game.

Too many emotes has a third person thing, so imagine doing a "dance' in third person as a woman crewmate and its her masturbating. 

Honestly still expecting a female crewmate model which hasnt been made yet to my knowledge. As in default crewmate but female. I know miku and moe company exists.

I think its gonna be a similar situation with a bunch of other games that have lewd modding potential. Basically lots of people that want it, but very few people actually willing to do it. (Or learn the skills to do it lol)

So could be that we never get lewd mods, or maybe they're in the works and coming down the pipeline, or it might be a few years before we see anything.

All kinda up in the air until someone rises up to start work on it.

Same. I have tried learning how to game dev/mod, but I don't have the attention span to sit down long enough and learn it x.x

I mean dev tools are good, we did get some custom monsters already in some of the mods, so custom monsters are indeed a thing lol.

I'm most likely missing a lot of thing but I'm going to say this anyway. I think the only thing that would be a worthwhile NSFW mod would be something where, if you're caught, either you get fucked or you have to fuck to save your life; if you suck at it you die (only some creatures do it and only at random times so no one can seek out a braken for a pounding lol). Not sure if the second part is even possible but either way it's the only thing I can think of that would inspire someone enough to actually make it. Kind of makes me want to try tbh lmao

That is basically the idea, a defeat mod. You get caught, you get fucked, pretty much.

How easy a desired game is to mod = amount of mods available. By the looks of it, Lethal Company is just not easy to mod. Even the Thicc Company Model Replacement developer states it has a ton of issues; it's a start, but I think we have a long way to go, before we see anything nearly as functional, as what we've seen in the Fallout and Skyrim series. Rooting for it though, perfect game concept for ero. : )

Not a lewd mod, but there is a new cat mod that has its own animations. the cat can walk on its own and it tail wags sometimes. I guess you can make something lewd like that if an interactable cat mod is possible.
