late to the party on this one, but yeah - i just repurposed the Riften Temple of Mara for the original room. I am quite terrible at building worldspaces. ;)

I think most authors take a similar approach here, building cells can be quite tiring and there are a lot of things to take care of or else the CK just crashe. I do find it quite relaxing at time tho

-------

I changed how the Cell is being setup relative to the original one, hoping this will solve some is sues

The cells are now fully aligned with one another, so I hope that at the very least SSR should be compatible with mods making use of that 1x1 cell next to the main holding cell

As for SLUTS, I work on the 1170 version of the CK, people playing on outdated versions of the game (incl/or LE) will have to manually edit the header to 1.5 standard to get the mod to work (or update their game)

i think it would look cool if the player was put in the middle of the bidding crowd on an slightly elevated pedestal. pic related in spoiler for what i have in mind :3 i don't know if the interior mesh has that stage area built into. if so you could make a catwalk run from it to the pedestal. then place the bondage thingy on a circular platform at the end of the catwalk and surround it with benches so that bidders can see the player character from every angle. a bar with drinks would liven the place up too but that's just me xd. i respect keeping the cold atmosphere in it.

Sorry if this is obvious or something, but I'm a little confused. I'm using SE, and this is in the Special Edition area of the forum, but it uses

That says it works for LE, not SE. Does this rebuild make it work for SE? Or does ++ work for SE as well as LE? Is there a SE conversion for ++?

Figured I'd ask before I downloaded and then come here to report problems~

Actually, SS++ says that it is SE compatible.  It works with all versions of Skyrim.  You won't have a problem.

Hey,

was really chilled to try this out, but somehow the new interior does not show up.

I m on LE

I was sold before in SS++ but I did a clean save (removed SS, load Save, save, exit, clean with ReSaver, install SS++ and this mod, load save)

But SS is still all the old cell entirely. (using the latest version of SS++

I would really love to see this in game!

Just a small feedback from the images:

SS++ room is nice because the slave is so close presented to the buyers. it gives a feeling of vulnerability and really beeing on display.

In the screenshots it looks like the slave is really far away and remote from the buyers, they almost cannot see the feats :D

The problems that @Nymra mentioned above are due to SS Rebuild's use of header type 1.71.  Unfortunately, it's not compatible with LE.  Mods with header 1.71 will silently fail to load.  There's no workaround.  The CK for LE won't load header type 1.71, so it can't just be opened and resaved.  If the ESP could be resaved from SE with header type 1.7, it would be LE compatible.  There's nothing else in Rebuild that wouldn't work.

This mostly works great for me, but I've noticed one particular oddity: my character is always bound facing left (towards the auctioneer) when they're being sold. Is this intentional? It always feels a little odd to not have them be looking front-on towards the crowd.

I use Nemesis rather than Pandora. Might still be an incompatibility issue there. IDK. Thanks for the reply.

It's really a pity, that the open cities patch for Simple Slavery (LE) is not working well here. The door from open riften is then in the middle of the auction hall and looks very unimmersive. Could you possibly provide an open cities patch? I really like open cities, it works quite well and increases the immersion a lot (especially with the paraglider). Pretty please?

I have the same problem, I use FNIS + Nemesis, do you find any fix?

This is a hidden gem!

The layout and lighting edits makes the location feels extra seedy and oppressive, a feeling missing from the original room. The long descending corridor you have to go through before emerging into the main chamber is particularly effective, feels like descending into Tartarus.

The original room had more of a nonchalantly commercial vibe to it, which also works in a different way (like slavery is just a normal thing in that world). I see myself swapping between this and the original depending on the playthrough and character.

I tried this and noticed a couple of things: my character always faces sideways when sold, and when you try to leave through the door and into Riften, the door gitches, and you end up 'in' the door.

i wonder why this door is here, i guess you forgot it when cleaning the cell, and like the person above said, i'm using nemesis + fnis so my character is always bound facing left (towards the auctioneer) when they're being sold

- The main door is also slightly skewed.
