You probably enabled the Armor License or Life Insurance - please check to see if that’s the case. If your goal is to allow Bikini items by default, then the only license feature that should be enabled is the Bikini Exemption. 1

I had a different idea in my head of how the bikini exemption interacted with the other licenses, but makes sense now. Thanks.
drm62 Posted February 18 Posted February 18 Love the mod! Id have 3 feature requests :3 1. would it be possible to enable license renewal/rebuy a configured amount of time before they run out? Like 1 day for example? At the moment, I like to be able to not buy a new one after I lost (water) one, but I am also constantly racking up violations, because I can only rebuy a license for my stuff, AFTER it expired. 2. could you add 2 more settings to the life insurance: first some way to not have the price increase (that much) for repeated violations and 3. I would like to have my stuff still confiscated if I have a life inssurance but miss the appropriate License Thank you!
Plaguetard2.0 Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Might have found a possible conflict... I think? So, I've never managed to make it to Thane in any playthrough before... Modding ADD makes me restart often =\ Buuut, I am playing and have the Dealing with Daedra mod. In it, my PC got drunk and got married to the Lighthouse guy. Apparently, this makes you a Thane... or at least, it SAID I am a Thane. It then says to speak to the Quartermaster about getting a license because of the Thaneship and gaining favor. However, I've no idea who that is supposed to be. It isn't a guard, they just have normal dialogue for licenses. Firebrand also doesn't say anything new about anything. I was wondering if this is because of how the PC became a Thane? (Through drunken marriage). Am I missing something?

Are you certain you found dialogue from LPO or maybe you just got the terms mixed up? LPO does not add a “Quartermaster”. That’s from SexLab Survival. Separately… It is certainly possible for a “marriage” to provide LPO’s license immunity. This is what LPO refers to as Favored Immunity rather than Thaneship Immunity. However, LPO explicitly targets someone in the JobJarlFaction (if I remember correctly). The conflict you describe is impossible unless Dealing with Daedra is misusing this Faction tag. 1

Mid-cycle renewal is already possible if you enable the Renewal option in the MCM. Though I assume it isn’t enough for you since you want it configurable by days prior to expiration. The suggestions are all interesting though low priority as I’m hoping to work on per-Hold licenses next. For now, for No 1, you can stick with an always-on Renewable license option to fit your needs.

I do still have SL Survival even though I have all of the licenses/tolls stuff turned off. So even though none of it is active, it may have generated a popup alerting me that it COULD allow a license, even though the mod doesn't handle licenses. That could easily be my mistake, sorry about that!
kokske Posted March 3 Posted March 3 I have clothing licenses disabled but I still get stopped by guards when wearing simple robes. I have LMAO installed and Nudity is marked as a crime, but it is not a crime to wear clothes according to the mod.
Spacebimbos Posted March 7 Posted March 7 I have a really confusing bug where the kinky dialogue option gets disabled on every load. I have no idea what's overwriting it

If you're not it might be due to a bug where the nudity crime didn't properly check for the body slot. But that has been fixed since then.
Wallorp Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Hello ☺️ , I’m looking for an alternative to “Simple Player Prostitution,” because that mod doesn’t do what it’s supposed to. An alternative I liked is “The Ancient Profession,” but I’m not sure if it’s compatible with your mod. because it also seems to have a licensing system. (and thank VRM for your job!)

My pleasure, glad you enjoy Licenses. On TAP: Yeah, it is technically compatible with my mod. It is just that it doesn't interface with Licenses' Whore License. So you could just opt to use our mods together and allow TAP to take care of its own licenses. I've not heard of any interest from TAP in integrating with LPO. But regardless, I assume it'd be much easier once I am able to complete implementing region/hold-specific licenses into LPO.
whiskeyandropes Posted March 21 Posted March 21 (edited) Hello! Running licenses in a new play through and enjoying it. One request, an MCM toggle for the armor license to adjust if it applies to heavy, light or both? Or is there an existing way to tailor the settings that I'm not seeing? Through no fault of my own I've got more clothing mods than sense in my game, and a great many of them are labeled "light armor" by the author when in fact they're closer to "clothing". Edit: Or perhaps separate licenses for heavy and light such that we could have a fully tiered system (clothing > light > heavy)? Edited March 21 by whiskeyandropes

On your request: One blocking factor is dialogue, because I place some importance on how licenses are integrated into the game world. It's quite hard to make dialogue that differentiates between and separates light and heavy armor, doubly so in a way that satisfies everyone's armor mod setups. Another blocking factor is keyword: VendorItemArmor is a convenient way to filter for non-sensitive items, whereas the LightArmor and HeavyArmor keywords are very general. So it saves me a bit of brain power to only rely on Skyrim's original VendorItem keywords. One thing you could try is to use KID to distribute the BM_LicensesBikiniItem keyword to all light armor items. But of course that really depends on whether you think it is logical for your setup.

MarmaladeEnjoyer672 Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Hey, been enjoying the mod but I have a question is there any way to turn the licenses into a one-time purchase and keep them permanently or is it just a max of 60 days?

itami_no_hana Posted March 27 Posted March 27 I'm having a bug that the licenses don't change their status after expiring or after purchasing new license. Only after I refresh their status in auxiliary tab in MCM, everything is updated, but it doesn't happen automatically anymore. I think it started when I updated to 1.26.1

layzpeon Posted April 7 Posted April 7 I just recently updated from 1.26.2 to 1.26.4, and now when I buy a magic license it doesn't dispel the curse. After buying it I tried checking with guards and the steward (who is the person I buy the license from) and none of them have the dialog option to remove the curse.

Did you restart Licenses after the update? Are you able to replicate the issue on a new game? If so, please pass me a step-by-step from the point of character creation to replicate your issue, thanks.
