One idea I had was for there to be some form of "failure" during attempts to enslave women.  The obvious consequence, IMO, is that they become mind broken though it would be interesting if there was a way for women to will themselves to never truly be enslaved by the tentacle creatures.  Or maybe a trait that increases resistance that one gains from enduring enough rape without succumbing.  Obviously, this chance of failure would be nullified if they willingly mate.

Maybe a learning/ prowess challenge could be the resistance factor and every time the check fails you lose resistance (losing prowess or learning your mind and body are becoming mush and sensitive to it after all)

The ck2 version does this too, but small things like religions having to set a doctrine on their stance towards tentacles will be visible from the start (like witchcraft). It's not really an issue and something I'll probably find a way to do better eventually.

For this particular one could you use the setup for ecumenism? Only have a 'tentacles accepted doctrine', religions with no set doctrine default to hating tentacles. Then have the tentacles accepted doctrine added to tentacle faiths by decision/event so it's only visible for tentacle religions just like 'has ecumenism' is only visible for the faiths that have it.

So something that's always bugged me is that there's a massive imbalance between holes and shafts.  A broodmother routinely gave birth to 5 tentacle creatures (each with seemingly many tentacle cocks) or 1 girl and most of the settings were towards reducing the probability of the girl because there were just too many characters running around.  So I've spent a lot of time mulling an answer to this

Basic idea:

- The basic tentacle creature is just... 1 tentacle

- These individual tentacles merge together into symbiotic colonies.

- The larger and denser the colony, the smarter it is though intelligence comes at a cost in maintenance - ie: tentacles get burnt out, have higher supply requirements

So I'm imagining at least 5 colony sizes, 3 of which there's established gameplay for

- Tentacle: an individual tentacle.  They're small, weak, and with limited mobility.  On their own, they could not overpower anyone (though a willing partner might be interested in a more traditional experience)

- Tentacle creature(?): A small colony of 5-10 tentacles.  Small enough that it can be carried but with enough tentacles that it can overpower.  These are the ones that you sneak into someone's room, or possibly have waiting around in your own

- Tentacle beast: A dog-sized colony of maybe 25-50 tentacles (which is admittedly a large drop in the ratio from CK2 but considering the mechanics are quite different, I think it's safe to assume the peasants are providing most of these).  These are the soldier type.  One idea I had was that they might have the intelligence of a dog though being a fair bit stronger with a general organization similar to War Dogs - with a handler able to escort several into battle and guide them towards their target.  Though I imagine the handler needs many helpers back home to complete the training.

- Tentacle master: A large colony of over 100 (I actually think 1000 makes more sense but balancing that might be difficult).  These are the sentient masters.  Near-human in intelligence but larger, stronger and able to ravage the entire court simultaneously when so inclined

- Cave Tentacle Monster: or something.  These might be as large as tentacle masters.  But, with the relative lack of a Kingdom funding their energy needs, they're distributed the colony around the cave such that they are sustained sufficiently by the women they ensnare.

There also seems to be some sort of tentacle beast of burden, simultaneously intelligent enough to build and strong enough to do the primary labor.  The tentacle beasts could fill this role but I wonder if there's some value for an intermediary level.  I did imagine a horse/cow sized creature though less dense to explain its relative lack of intelligence

Anyways, just an idea for potential increased immersion....

EDIT: Forgot to mention, would likely need the tentacle pool concept that was in one of the expansion mods.

One of my few complaints with the mod back in ck2 was that the tentacle scene was just a slog to click through every time for the same thing (with the occasional trait-giving ones added in) so hopefully the sequence gets more streamlined in this one.

Wasn't there a setting or option to skip the scenes?  I thought it got added in a later version...

Yes but you don't get the transformations if you skip the scenes.

i would like to  see then a way that its possible more to resist and fight back against the tentacle invasion. I also liked the idea of the TD submod that you could get transformed by the Monsters from male into a female and then a proper tentacle slave.

Sadly, there is no "set_gender" in CK3. However, you may create a female copy of yourself (by the power of tentacle monsters) and then play as this female copy.

So now that plagues have been added to CK3...

I'm thinking outbreaks of roaming tentacles?

Probably best not to travel through them either.

Tentacle Swarm

That looks like it is Chinese only or is there an English version around somewhere?

No, I haven't found any English version. Maybe some AI translors are needed.

I have found some Tentacle Dream-based mods on gitgud, such as  Corrupted Desires and Tentacle Swarm. Maybe they can be used as references

Whats the Corrupted Desire one about its description is very vague.

That one was my own attempt at working on a Tentacled Dreams like project, my first attempt at modding in general as well. I'm hoping to revisit it possibly as I have some specific concepts in mind that aren't exactly what Tentacled Dreams is about. But I'm hoping to help out with Tentacled Dreams as well :D

Anyone know if this mod is still gonna go on?

She said on her discord about a month ago that she still needed around 4 weeks before publishing it.

Any more news from the discord?
