The Sisterhood of Dibella LE (January 2025)

Hello, I realy like the Quest, but now I am stuck at Redemption 10 because I can't find Haelga's traveling sister hood. I looked into barrels and went down to the sewers. I even tried the console and put it into my inventory, but it didn't count. Neither dropping the hood and grabbing it again worked. So I guess I have to find the real one.

Could someone give me a hint, please?

Had the same problem, probably got confused by the walkthrough which says find the hood first than Svana.

But it's the other way. I have found Svana down in The Ratway in the map after the Ragged Flagon. Talked to her and got the hood.

What's with the sperm immediately on my character after entering the Chapel of Dibella? I don't know how to get it off!

Even Midas Magic Dispell spell isn't helping, or showracemenu where it disappears in the character creation screen but reappears immediately after.

You'll see a flower next to the Dibella icon that you can click on for her blessing. You'll get a menu that comes up - you can disable that option. It's supposed to be sweat, but yeah it looks like cum. I turn that off too.

Wasn't something more supposed to happen with Fjotra's initiation than the vanilla game?

Because Hamal tells her to come with, she walks to the back room, and then walks away and Hamal reads or stands there 

Pretty sure I saw an image of adult Fjotra in chains. Was hoping there would be an initiation.

It's not hard to convert, use nifoptimiser, nifscan and a bsa extractor. I don't remember having any issues because of the conversion.  Just install the sexlab beta, jcontainers and slal sse.

 

I've done the whole quest in SSE but as I'd already finished the game I got stuck due to a character requirement and had to use the console to complete that task, the same thing happened to me in the oldrim.

I've tried to convert it to SSE myself, and failed miserably...

I used a bsa extractor, nifoptimizer and nifscan (had to change 2 .dds files which nifscan found "not ok"). I didn't crash in the sanctum, like some people had mentionned, but it still didn't work correctly.

 

I converted both Sisterhood of Dibella and its Sisters addon. But when I was using both the mods, the npcs didn't have their new lines of dialog (Senna not offering to join the temple, for example). After some testing on the .ESP, it seemed like the issue was because the npcs have been renamed in the Sisters addon ("Senna" -> "Sister Senna", and so on). I have no idea why I have this issue and how it would have worked in oldrim like it is...

Since I couldn't change their names back without messing with the functionnalities of the Sisters addon, I tried to merge the 2 mods with MergePlugins. It kinda worked, since I got the new dialogs to appear on Senna. And I could then begin the first quest. But when I tried talking to npcs to ask for donations (line of dialog "I bring the gift of Beauty from the Goddess Dibella"), every single npc were answering with the same line of dialog ("I'm too busy right now.."), instead of the normal ones (like "By Dibella.. you take this for the Temple and I will take this for myself."). A problem I didn't have when using only the Sisterhood mod (without the Sisters addon).

 

Since every npc gives that busy line of dialog, it makes it impossible to complete the quest. Sadly, my knowledge of SSE Edit is too low to understand how the conditions exactly works, to explain why I only get this line of dialog and not the other ones.

 

But that's only one of the bugs I met. When I entered the sanctum directly, and got the quest to get the sybil from Mother Hamal, after I brought the sybil back, I had a constant CTD bug when trying to drink at the altar, for example...

I also have a little visual glitch in the Sanctum (no crash, just visual issue, as shown on those screenshots: https://imgur.com/gallery/iRjdS)

IIRC, you'll need to give Fjotra a minimum of 5 marks of dibella (which can be found by having sex with any of the sisters, or as loot on hagraven's corpses). If you give her enough, you'll see a healing effect around your character - and after you have sex with Fjotra (forget how many times) you'll eventually see messages that are pretty obvious (like, "Trust Senna"). 

 

Before you do that, however, you need to talk to Senna AFTER becoming an agent of Dibella (vanilla quest, after you drink from the fountain). Talking to Senna, you'll see the "is there anything I can do", which is what started the quest to begin with. She SHOULD send you after two dead sisters. (Hint: ONE of those sisters is found when saving Fjotra - did you loot her corpse?). The other sister is in a cave that you pass on the way to rescuing Fjotra (before you get to Karthwasten). It's RIGHT on the road.

 

Hopefully that steers you in the right direction.   I LOVE what DeepBlueFrog did with this quest, it's one of my favs...

I've been running through this mod & am having a blast. But... I do have one minor issue: is it possible to setstage past "(M/F) 32- Show Rorlund your devotion to Sanguine" without it breaking the quest? If yes, what's the quest ID & stage #? I know, I could just let it fire normally, but that ruins the RP experience (my PC is male). Thanks in advance and happy modding!

Actually, there is one now, provided by 'myhouseatl'. I just uploaded it.

 

I did not test it yet since I don't have SSE installed but feel free to try it.

 

I don't know yet what are the requirements for getting it to work though... I also have no idea what K4 animation pack is.

I just tried to add the SSE version using NMM, and it keeps on telling me the mod can't be added. Does anyone else have that problem or know how to get around it?

I had the same issue.  NMM occasionally has issues with RAR files.  Unpack the RAR and reroll it as zip or 7zip (better) and then add it.

I agree.  I remember novices being in Markarth when I used to play Oldrim.  I think they were added by the Dibellan Defender mod?

 

Another thing to change would be to comment out the debug popup for blessings.  I do this to my own version.

Hydragorgon's Slave Girls adds several Novices of Dibella, some inside and outside the Temple in Markarth. It also adds Bands of Dibella and shrines all over.

 

They don't interact with NPCs like you want but they are add great touch to the mod and I highly recommend them.

I planned to add that to TID for a quest in that mod.

But it's no so good.

If you want, I can make a small patch.

I couldn't get Hydragorgon's Slave Girls to work in SSE.  I get constant crashes in Whiterun.  If anyone knows how to fix it, please let us know.

 

As long as you have FNIS, any of the animation packs should work fine.  I have ZAZ working great.

I recommend MO.  That is what I am using.  NMM has problems with RAR sometimes.  You could unpack it and re-compress with 7zip.

Is there a more comprehensive guide somewhere? I'm stuck where Svana disappears from the bunkhouse in Riften.

Doing a search of this thread revealed someone had the issue before, couldn't find her in the ratway, and they were replied to that Svana's in the bunkhouse.

That's vanilla Svana! She's not there! Asking around Riften after the vanilla marks of Dibella quest coinciding with this mod reveals she ran into the ratway.

I kept Svana's prid ID to check, and this mod disables her. So technically she is at the bunkhouse, disabled.

Where's modded Svana? Or at least Haelga's Traveling Sister Hood? This mod is in desperate need of quest markers.

She is in the upper section of the ratway where you get random hostiles later in the main quest. Not in the section of the thief guild.

There's a problem. The part to look for her in the ratway in the quest itself didn't start after talking to the guy at the bridge who saw her run down the stairs.

I opened the SexLab_DibellaCult.esp in the CK and got the quest listing.

player.sqs _SLSD_QST_Cleansing

Then player.setstage to the next stage, it said to look for her in the ratway. I went there. She wasn't anywhere.

So I added Haelga's Traveling Sister hood via console and set the stage to the next again. Haelga accepted the hood.
