Do you need a Creation Kit to create a CBBE body and JaneBod, along with Bodyslide Outfit Studio?

Please tell me, cbbe body and jane bod, together with bodyslide outfit studio, can you create/port without a creation kit? Or should I wait for the creation kit?

Creation kit has nothing to do with Bodyslide App.Jane body is just sliders that you can import to CBBE reference.

Okay, thanks, I hope the modders can do all of the above as soon as possible

Modders are working on getting the new files figured out, it seems a lot has been changed since Fallout 4/76.
Also some other technical changes in the engine, so it might take quite a while longer than some might expect.

@Kargrin That's because everyone is waiting on Hexabit to update nifskope.  I'll repost this, but this is basically where we are at atm:

Posted by Hexabit, quoted by @ousniusfor better context.  Hexabit went on vacation, which is why progress slowed a bit.  I'd say were alot closer than most people think.  There has been one mod on the Nexus that used a custom mesh...but the creator wasn't ready to release their version of the tools.

Holy shit .... great job to the people working on this!!!

However, looking at the body and how it works it seems modding will be limited to how Fallout 4/76 work. Another release, another game that won't be able to outgrow Skyrim's modding, especially in the r34 community and explicit themed mods?very sad.

I truly hoped for something more impressive from Bethesda but modding will be shit in this game as well. If someone can actually prove me wrong and throw some hope/copium at me, I will greatly appreciate it.

I guess I don't technically know what you are trying to say, what technically is the modding limitation? All I'm seeing is differences and even some positives.

With the new way the mesh works now, it will be more complex to mod without the modkit, that's for sure.

Also no sign of Nifskope updating, as the cbbe creator needs it to convert the meshes. All that is working for now is an Nif to .obj converter (and without the textures)

Let them cook. Important thing is the mesh, followed by textures. Besides, someone is already importing star wars outfit unto the game with an experimental app.

what i would like to know is if more complex means better results, for example if the collisions work better or will there be less clipping, can u elaborate on the differences on what we know so far

Hard to say until the real weighted mesh import is working fully, right now Caliente's (the maker of cbbe) is working on the body, as the image above)

But from FO4 example, cbbe/Bodyslide worked fine without the need of Modkit

Anyone now what the status is with CBBE for Starfield? This is the #1 mod I am waiting for.

Sadly not much progress. Too many things changed, It looks like the main dev working on the Nifskope update is stuck on Bethesda's spaguetti code.
