The Beach Party [XCL][18b]

For latest update download Package 3 only.  For Full install, (never played before) download all three package files.

 

This Mod introduces a Beach Party to X-change life.  Containing over 1 GB worth of video and images, the beach party is a night your character won't soon forget. 

 

To unlock the party you must first visit the beach as a female and loiter/watch the waves/relax several times until you find a flyer advertising the party. After that the party becomes available on Saturdays at the Beach during the afternoon. For the best experience arrive at the party as a man. 

 

The party is a timed event. You have access to three party locations that you can wander between. There you can choose to dance, drink, swim and interact with 6 new beach girls and an assortment of beach boys, depending on your gender.  There are some familiar faces but a lot of new people you can interact with. There are some special events in the middle of the party to mix things up and potential side effects you can pick up along the way. A random encounter mechanism is always running to keep you on your toes so watch out for random buttons that appear above your usual options. The party can end a number of different ways with two special endings that can be unlocked, but only for the female version of your character. 

 

The mod works better with an established character with multiple and developed relationships than creating a brand new one. It is designed for multiple playthroughs as not everything can be unlocked in a single run.

 

Both packaged zip files need to be loaded into the Mod loader for the mod to work.

The mod is not compatible with Beach Girls or an Girl 11 (Kenzie, Abella, or Marley) mods.

This mod is so amazing. It adds a whole new story and event that in my eyes contributes and supports the main game and feels natural. it expands the beach area so much and provides wonderful content. Thank you so much. ♥

Your pleasure bar needs to max out to have the orgasm.  I will recheck the behaviour for that character and see if I can reproduce,

Ok, the Orgasm control skill check isn't working at all. You have to play the game.  I'll look into that. Thanks for the report.

Also, do you plan to implement this pills?
During start of beach event it says "Half the pills in the bowl are a variety of X-change knock offs. So a tonne of WANGL, Instagirl and SWP..."

There are only two events in the middle of the party. The Wet T-shirt and Strongman competition. These turn at a set time in the middle of the party and will remain available for a short period of time. You can easily attend these so long as you are not on a date with one of your fuck buddies.

 

There are two possible special endings and a variety of normal endings where the character can just go home. The Happy ending requires you to have picked up a random side effect when you take a pill at the start of the party, but if you start as a man and end up getting drug spiked during the party the happy ending unlocks when the party finishes. The dark ending is unlocked from an interaction you can have during the Strongman competition as a woman.

You character can only transform into your female avatar. There is no changing of bodies like in the office. But, when you take a pill from the bowl you can end up with one of three side effects. Libido overdrive and Stripper for the SWP pills and maid for WANGL. If you have no side effects assume you got an Instagirl.

I like the dark ending, wish there were more dark endings with more variety and different methods to obtain them. After I experienced it for the first time, completely by surprise, all the other ending just seem too... tame. I now actively hunt for the dealer every time I go to the party as female. It'd be cool to have more outcomes connected to that.

There are three ways you can get the maid ending. Having the side effect already, randomly picking it up from the pill bowl, or having your drink spiked by a girl at the party. (Including Alexa)

There are a lot of paths in the mod.  The dark ending is a favorite of mine too. I know it is short, but that is because it has to accommodate each of the different characters you can play in the game.  So while there are only 2 or 3 videos to support the story that quickly becomes 30 video files once you play every different character in the game.  What else would you like to see happen there?

[Mod][XCL] Strange Guy.url had the same issue and just fixed it.

   Sorry you are experiencing a conflict.  I'm not sure what Connie mod does.  What is it breaking?

Edited the transformation code fragment when you take the pill at the beginning of the party. You don't get a free card and will see the transformation reaction that should have been visible.

 

Edited: pot luck pill, pot luck result. Added: pot luck transform display.

Any ETA on a 0.19 update? This is one of my favourite mods so I'm eager to see it back in my modlist with the new update.

 

Additionally, I've seen mention that this mod has a conflict with the Multiple Characters mod on a few occasions. Is there a way to fix that, or are they just mutually incompatible? Or is that information incorrect?

The incompatibilities are more due to fact that the sex videos for extra characters do not load properly because they use their own path. The mod only accounts for vanilla characters.

You can still play through with modded in characters if you don't mind empty frames where the videos should be displayed. The mod is perfectly functional otherwise. Or at least was when I gave it a spin last time on 0.18b with Holly and Little Blonde.

It kinda is tho. It is mostly compatible with base game characters. It is NOT compatible with added characters mods, even with the multiple character mod.

 

And if you visit the party as a man (and stay a man), interacting with the beach girls will somehow turn them into bar girls, which causes unloaded images and other errors at the Bar.

 

If you attend the party as female (or get turned into a female), there appear to be no errors.
