For people wondering about the procedure to fix unencrypted mods, here is some information about it from a Nexus post (URL = https://www.nexusmods.com/snowbreakcontainmentzone/images/63 ). I have not tried it, I'm only passing the information here.

It looks like the developers are intentionally trying to break modding? This might be bad news for Snowbreak modding, make sure to back up everything you find!

There are new mods being made, and there are a few modders still, thing is, pretty much everyone went paywalled content and none want to share them, not even on a sharing site wich is laughtable, but hey, I don't make the rules.

 

(And no, I don't have paid mods, sorry, otherwise I'd share them)

most of the mods I've seen are paywalled and on top of that the modders seem to prioritize paid skins first but yeah if you're looking for mods nexus has some that are being made and some older ones that are getting updated

that sucks compared to other games that made mods for free, they already losing playerbase, now is milking the poor players for something that might not be usable in the future? lets say we pay for the paywalled mods, how can we be for sure it will last? will those greedy modders guarantee that?
