And that's it. Normally it helps using the wait function to advance, but here nothing helps. I reverted to an earlier save an unticked the quest in the MCM.

I have no idea why it does this. All the NPC's have had all their factions changed to the same one and all the idle markers and such that were in the Embassy were replaced (it is a copy). It may be another mod starting it, I know SexLab Dialogue (needed for SD+) has an MCM option for NPC's to be hostile and others make changes to player and npc factions after sex. Skyrim's NPC AI can be pretty persistent and stupid.

When you did the quest did you get back without issues or did you have to capture her again? I found that having to capture her again tends to break the scene that starts once she gets to the bottom of the stairs (may be a variable that isn't being set properly somewhere, not sure).

Still testing things in v4.16 and making things work with DD v4. Current things I am working on:
1) Some devices (operation and removal) are quirky.

2) Quest to Light House and follow-up have issues that need fixed (quest stalls out and won't continue in several places).

3) Manor Slave was in the process of being rebuilt and several parts are not done (and I haven't written scripts in years).

4) Punishment start doesn't want to move the player to the shop to set up the scene.

 

I still have not tested the 4 Jarl quests, Relationship slave or the quest with Rayani yet or some of the other paths in quests (I forgot just how many minor deviations there are in dialogue and quests).

I got her from the lighthouse and went back to the shop without issues. Talked to Master who told me to bring her to the Manor Dungeon. Scene started normally, but ends when Herran(?) is told to escort me back to the Barracks. Nothing happens, I can't control my character. Enabling player controls causes him to follow me around but even when I go to the barracks nothing happens

It seems the further I get into Manor Slave the more I find that is unfinished. While most of the tasks are complete (two larger ones left to do) you can do more tasks per day than the current release. The tracking of completed task, end of day and punishments (am reusing the existing ones just need to start them) are nonexistant and need built.

 

To get a feel for scripting again I added two 'starts' meant for use with Alternate Start. Once you have chosen your start you can hit the start button for one of these but they tie in with existing CD devices. One is a start for 'Chaste Life' where you have fled to avoid an arranged marriage but not before you were placed in one of the Protector Plus belts that only your fiance can remove (need to ensure Master doesn't replace them as she can now when she wants). Currently this is unremovable (same situation as Elisif for the most part) but I will add some options to resolve it later. The other starts you in a standard Protector belt but without the means to remove it. This isn't too bad as you only need to get to the shop and purchase the book to make the amulet for removing it. Both come with a letter from mom explaining the situation. Dialogue has also been added with Master about the situation for each. Considering adding one for the cursed Jade items but I need to do more with the resolution of that.

 

 

Bit off topic but this is one of the other things that has been keeping me occupied. I have built quite a few kits like this (a little over 220 of them while I was away) and this one is a custom kitbash of two different kits that were not meant to be used together. Preparing to do a custom paintjob, mostly candy over chrome like in the girl and bike pic.

I realize that development for this hasn't happened in a while, but here are a few bugs I've encountered.

  • The plugs don't seem to 'vibrate' like the DD plugs do.  I didn't play Skyrim before DD 5.x, so maybe this is just how they used to work?
  • The settings for gear don't seem to respect the toggles I've set - namely in the 'trial' quest.  For example, I prefer to not wear 'bra' gear.  (IMO, sluts should bare their chest, not hide it).
  • While 'Master' was able to remove a Slave Chastity Belt, she seemed unable (or unwilling) to remove a Slave Gag.
  • The bound girls changed poses every 30 seconds or so.
  • I once saw the bound girls floating around the room like they were poltergeists or something, still bound all the way through.
  • There's a chastity piercing that I wasn't quite able to figure out how it worked or what it did - might just be me though, the mod description could use a little bit of work.

"Would be nice" feature requests:

  • Plug options for "chaste life".
  • More 'teasing' plugs - basically a reskinned 'cursed' plug (orgasm denial).
  • A slider for how often a special plug allows for a climax.
  • During the gear tryout, before putting on the armbinder, character's arms were locked in a 'boxbinder' pose (minor clipping issues though).  I like this, would like to see an added option to all cuffs that works like the rubber gloves with D rings so you can lock normal rings like this, or NPCs will notice that you 'forgot' to, and do it for you.
  • The shop 'assistants' seem fairly pointless. 
    • While gagged, one of them was like, "Let's talk when you're ungagged", but then didn't say anything new to me when I was ungagged.
    • None of them seem to sell anything kinky - just 'normal' gear.
  • Sleeping outside in the cage should automatically lock you inside - until someone comes to get you and rewards you for being so kinky as to capture yourself.

 

Nice to see this mod back, and while it does work with DD/DCL, it would be nice for it to get a few quality of life updates and improvements.

The device textures are for something I plan to make later but had them made when the red, dark red, black and white textures were being made. I had made a full set so I could see what they looked like and instead of deleting them I made the 'God's Cursed Items' from them. Basically they are nowhere in the game, the only way to get them is how you did and as you found out once you have a set they automatically lock on. Removing them via console or other mod won't work as there are scripts outside of the devices that monitor them and will replace them shortly, essentially you are stuck in them. There is a quest to get them removed that is rather basic, you must go find the Cursed God (an ancient god who was cursed and cast out) who dwells in the ruins near Morthal. The ruin is a high circular wall with an opening in the north side, she appears at midnight but you can't enter prior to that time or she won't appear. You must beg for release, she will almost always say no but may ask for something brought next time (I have not added the scripts or dialogue to remove the item yet) but your base chance of removal is 0.5% and increases by that amount each night you go and beg (and only when you go and beg). If you are lucky she may take pity on you and remove them sooner than later.

 

There are ways to end the quest and get out of them but there are no stages to it so how is a secret.

 

I am still considering adding debuffs to the items as well other than just the the extreme weight of the devices. Nothing entirely crippling but things like reduced regeneration of health, mana and stamina or being more susceptible to magic.

 

 

Looking forward to this quest being finished as well.

Collect, generally I just do a straight build.

She has not been painted at all yet, just finished fitting things together as there were a number of parts that had to be modified. Armor will be a red/orange candy mix with details and highlights done in red, orange and clear black (also candy) with everything over chrome.

1- there have been some changes to plugs between v3 and v4/5 that I need to dive into as I still have not taken a look into the scripts such. The bonuses still work but they require you to have a minimum arousal and not have a key for the belt in your inventory for them to work.

2- Gag removal should work, I have not had any issues so far in v4. Problem item is corsets which are not removed when a belt is present as they have a convoluted removal process when combined with a belt.

3- If they are scanned or something happens to them due to scripts it resets their pose. I have some ideas on how to fix this but this has been an ongoing issue

4- Bound poses don't want to be removed at the end of the day for some reason even though the idle is reset (another ongoing issue)

5- Chastity piercings use 2 parts, the piercing which counts as a standard piercing and a lock piece which counts as a belt. Piercing is equipped first then the lock and removing the lock doesn't remove the piercing

 

The add-ons give the assistants some clothing and items to sell (as I remember). I will likely create a patch to add non-locking clothing from other mods for them to sell as well. I will take a look at their dialogue and see if there is something else that was triggered.

 

Right now my first priority is sorting out the v4.16 release, finishing what is not complete, updating it to work with DD v4 and fixing dialogue as some of it has rather complex conditions and there are some occasional 'holes' which dump you out as you don't meet any criteria.

The chastity piercing models were missing the textures. I found the missing textures and updated the models to point to the proper texture file. I also created the BodySlide files for those using the SSE CBBE 3BA body. This was my first attempt at this, but with some help from someone on discord, I got it to work. The only issue I have seen so far would be the piercing rings showing a little bit through the front of the shield. I might do a plain CBBE SE version later.

 

@Veladarius I figured you might want the textures. If you do include them, the lock & bell models reference steel_golden1.dds, while the file I included is named steel_gray1.dds, so you'll either want to fix the model or update the filename (the texture is gray, not gold).

Gag removal generally does work, I think, just not that particular gag.  

Is there away to organically get the "Cursed God" items, and, if not, are there plans to add it?  IMO, a great way would be an alternate start where you wake up in them.

Why update it for v4 when DD is up to v5.2?  From what I've seen, the majority of CD items are already compatible with 5.2, so it should be virtually the same amount of work to update it to current rather than update it to an outdated version, then current.

Wow nice mod. Been reading alot about it, and fun to try :)

 

I've encountered a fair amount of bugs tho - Im sure you're aware of alot of them... maybe :)

 

Mine:

1)New game as a slave, I dont get any gear from overseer, to actually work with

2)The night cage is not opening in the morning? Overseer just walks around.

3)Mining nodes sometimes dissappear

4)Sometimes mining doesnt start - animation is about to start, but shortly stops and player controls are back. (When chosen as a job from master)

 

Punishment:

1) My PC have controls disabled, and she walks out of CD-shop and walks to VIP-backentrance. And there is an invisible wall. She just keeps walking up against it. Enable player controls, stops punishment scene and I can then start new quest. (Actually she does this even when normal conversation scenes plays out)

2) VIP-guest. Got into the quest with a VIP as the dominant. His tasks often stopped, leaving my PC with hands tied behind back. Enable player controls somewhat bypasses this, and a new scene is imediately started. This results in 4-5 (some of them broken) scenes total within timelimit 

3)Cages outside to sleep in, are not opening so PC doesnt get in.

 

Debt:

1) I have paid off all my debt, but Im still stuck in CD belt and CD bra - no dialogue for removal, other than the one that will add debt again. Not sure if its a bug or if I'm to dimvitted to figure out how to get out of it :D

Im having some trouble with the punishments, when it gets selected it says puunishment startup, it selects something, and the it walks me over to the rug. where master says lets get started, and the nothing happens, and im stuck in place, no animation plays, no restraints show up. Anyone any ideas?

So I started looking, and tried to add a debug line in cdxslavery_functions.psc to see a bit closer what's happening. I failed to compile that one, with several papyrus compiler errors about AddRndStdDevice and similar for cdxpunishmentset01.psc, cdxslavery_property.psc and cdxslavery_functions.psc.

 

When I looked into that, I found that these functions are supposed to be in CDxFramework.psc, which are overwritten by "Captured Dreams device removal DDv4 update v2", and the functions have different names there - I assume AddRandomItems() should be its equivalent?

 

Anyway, I just wanted to post that apparently not all function names have been switched in the scripts with the DDv4 update, or something else is going on (I'm at most a dabbler, I barely know what I'm doing).

 

Or am I overcomplicating it and it's just supposed to work if I compile with the old script then just put back the new one?

(Or did I mess up something else?)

After editing cdxframework so i could compile cdxslavery_functions, the part that fails to equip the gag is around line 468 in cdxslavery_functions.psc.

Some relevant variables at that point according to my debug are:

Although maybe I could try to change it to something else I suppose.

Having an issue with the chaste spouse stuff. Looks like cdxchastespouse.psc calls framework.RemoveGenericplugs(), but that function doesn't exist in the framework file (or any other actually). This breaks the SetPlayerDevice() function if you've been good.

 

The other issue in this file is with the SetPlayerDevice() function. The if-statement doesn't cover 6 demerits (by choosing the "wanted to do more" dialog option). You could make it >= 5, but you also need to take care of the other device changes that would be skipped.

problem with yoke when player is enslaved and sold to captured dreams : the yoke can't be removed, even if you pay for it.

I went through the CD slave start a few weeks ago and the yoke was removed ok I think, iirc. Have you installed the file "CD device removal DDv4 update v2.7z"?  I think that yoke removal is one of the things that fixes.

Is there away to organically get the "Cursed God" items, and, if not, are there plans to add it?  IMO, a great way would be an alternate start where you wake up in them.

Why update it for v4 when DD is up to v5.2?  From what I've seen, the majority of CD items are already compatible with 5.2, so it should be virtually the same amount of work to update it to current rather than update it to an outdated version, then current.

Cursed God items were a last minunte additionI had tossed together when making v4.15. I had the textures made for a future story quest but wanted them to stay out of normal use so I made them rather debilitating to use. I will be expanding the Cursed God quest at some point but I am still playing through the mod and not forcing things to advance like I usually did as I want to make sure it works as it should. There are parts of v4.16 that are incomplete (some parts have been rebuilt) and some things have been expanded a bit as I have been playing. I also have not written scripts, dialogue or scenes in years so I have forgotten quite a bit.

 

I have a number of DD mods that I use that are for v4 and have not been updated beyond that, since DD v5 is compatible with v4 I will likely stay with v4. Personally I only update mods if a newer version fixes game breaking bugs or adds features I want to use. Not being able to use mods I use often just to use the newest version isn't always worth it. As it is updateing to v4 cost me the use of several mods including at least one that was set to work with CD.

It seems to be an issue with scenes and animations, not sure why it happens but pretty sure its just Skyrim being Skyrim. If a scene stops go to the CD MCM menu on the Player tab, enable the player controls and speak with whomever else is in the scene, exit the dialogue and go back and disable player controls. This should let the scene run as normal after that (has worked for me almost all the time).
