I spoke to him/her and there seems to be no interest to make custom ones. My FO4 modder has no experiance with FONV system and that is why I am forced to beg!?
Machiavelique Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 It would be great to have new animations for new vegas. I have no idea of the complexity of what you're looking to do, as I have no experience with Blender either. I hope you'll find someone who can help.
malistaticy Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 i have experience making FNV animations but not fo4, if you send me a sample of the FO4 animations i can see if i can figure it out, and if so we could work something out.
Neutron_rus Posted June 28, 2023 Posted June 28, 2023 I have some experience in old blender and 3ds max for FNV, but I mostly worked with meshes, not animations. And from my old tests it was hard to just port animation from one game to another due to difference in the skeletons and possibly missing bones. So I think it would require like a full re-animation from scratch using fo4 animations as a reference, but idk, i have not looked into it for a long time, maybe there's a better tools now to do this kind of stuff

I will show you these poses. Make your copies of them, how ever you do them. Everyone involved gets paid by me. Looking for them to work female to female as well as female to male. That probably means 6 animations. With FO4, I can use 1 animation for both sexes but am not sure if FONV allows it. I use CBBE body for female and Roberts for males. Only difference from 6m female and others the feet are bigger. 3dsmax_HmOCV2Qy2D.mp4.a15324b89278c0c20d3600b2d3f7af4c.mp4 3dsmax_OMKozhrzIA.mp4.86cd65df9606966b4c2e862aeffa2615.mp4 3dsmax_D6XHkqfEUY.mp4.bb9b7f51c06ff684293964461ed13677.mp4 Edited June 28, 2023 by maddadicusrex 1

I have seen oblivion animations ported to skyrim (from the top of my head, that estrus animation), how was that possible? I'm interested in porting animations but I don't have the skill to do from scratch. And oblivion and FNV share the same skeleton (fnv has a few missing bones I think? But I never had any issue with missing bones, just the game ignores them) so it should be even easier from oblivion to FNV than from skyrim/fo4 to fnv??

Yes, Oblivion and F3/FNV is nearly the same format animations, so for converting them all you need is just to make a small tweaks in nifscope to accommodate for skeleton difference and nif version difference. But for porting from old to new or new to old engines you need to do a lot, and if old to new is a bit easier as there's better tools and software to work with new stuff, in case of new to old you need to build a lot of stuff from scratch on old software and there's also almost no information how to work with all this old stuff. With the right animation rig i think it should be easy to port stuff between gamebryo/creation engine, you can just map one skeleton to another and make kind of like a copy of animation with correction for skeleton difference, but i don't think that i have seen any of this rigs

Well, I have tried to make some test animations, but nah, w/o a proper (2 actor) animation rig for FNV it will take ages for me to set everything up, and i don't really have much experience of how to set up IK rigs in old blender, moving every bone by hand is also not an option. I can work with meshes, but animations is just too hard for me 1

Is that simple? Can you tell me how can I do this, and if it can work not just only with animations but with poses as well? Because my current method is copying the coordinates of each oblivion bone manually to "convert" poses to FNV bones 1

Looks great to me. The only difference with CBBE should be a fatter and slightly longer foot. Can this be set up for female/male pose? I play as a female. Great job. Is there a way to call these on comment during a Sexout conversation? Are there tags used in FONV? I can pay you up front if you want? I use Paypal. Just PM me and we can discuss your donation to your college fund. You made a very old guy happy! 2

In other words, not every commission will make you rich.
