jaymac8181 Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 i'm hoping someone can help me with this. i installed cbbe body and am using it normally without any problems. but when i take my armor off completely, there's these black gashes around her waist area, and her chest is messed up looking. this only happens when i have her completely nude. when she's wearing armor, her body looks like it should.
Monsto Brukes Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 you have a skin texture taht isn't for cbbe. I would suggest that you convert to Mod Organizer (linked in my sig). It will then be plain as day what the mod is and then you can just uncheck it.
TnTTnT Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 Have you try to replace skeleton with some more generic one ie. XP32's. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26800/
Monsto Brukes Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 my first reply was a quick answer. . . the different skyrim bodies all have a different layout for 'mapping' the skin texture to the body. the gashes are because the body is expecting the art to be in certain places of the texture file. If the texture file is meant for say unp body, then the art is in a different place. so when the engine takes the texture file and wraps it to the body, it shows the parts that don't have art. For the midsection, most bodies have a painted on shadow for underboob, and now it's all slid around to the wrong places. It's kinda like if you tried to take the label from a 20oz Coke bottle and put it on a 20oz Dr Pepper bottle. You can find the texture and delete it, but that's no guarantee that the body won't just be the blue untextured color.
winny257 Posted September 20, 2013 Posted September 20, 2013 This error caused the femalebody_1_msn.dds file, try again another that is compatible with your body! when it should be because then forget but not the associated, and femalehands_1_msn.dds femalehead_msn.dds to go with, graphic errors would otherwise arise! german \ deutsch ! diesen fehler verursacht die femalebody_1_msn.dds datei , versuch einmal eine andere , die kompatibel mit deinem körper ist ! wenn es daran liegen sollte dann vergiß aber nicht die dazu gehörigen , femalehands_1_msn.dds und femalehead_msn.dds mit zu wechseln , ansonsten würden graphikfehler entstehen!
