BubblesMike Posted May 2, 2023 Posted May 2, 2023 Aah look so i dunno if did something wrong here but- when i first played with this mod on, everything worked fine (besides the Husky cuz it seems hes really broken) but as the second time i open the game, only the horses have this mod working on them, this mod is in the priority in my load order, i re-run body slide with all the creatures in, but nothing working right now, would someone be willing to tell what can i do to fix that? (besides deleting the mod and reinstalling again ofc)

As an old timer programmer (who also worked at NASA) I would like to pass something on that maybe you can try. 7zip can zip files in many different ways. The best way to make an archive is to use 7zip's TAR option. What you do is to use the "Add to Archives" on the pop-up single-right-click menu. Go to the "Archive Format" and select the "tar" option. Leave everything else alone. Allow 7zip to make a TAR file. (TAR means Tape ARchive and comes from Unix/Linux.) Once the tar file has been created, then you can use 7zip again to make either a 7z file or a ZIP file. The only problem with doing this is whoever downloads the file must go through the process in reverse, so they would unzip the file, then restore the files from the TAR file and then last they would have to use 7zip to make a new ZIP file. THEN, if you are using MOD2 you could then use the new ZIP file to install into MOD2. Anyway, this can save up to 10% additional space in the original zip file (the one that is downloaded). 7zip can also change the name to be <NAME>2.zip. Unknown why it does this but it does.

After installing it onto your computer you THEN need to tell WinRAR to extract ALL FILES from the "1378523301_SkyrimLustfulAnimals.part1.rar" file and extract it to a directory of the same name. WinRAR will do this BUT THEN it will tell you you need PART 2! Part 2 is the "838092233_SkyrimLustfulAnimals.part2.rar" file. The problem is WINRAR renames the file to be "1378523301_SkyrimLustfulAnimals.part2.rar". THIS means you must FIRST do a COPY (Control-C) followed by a PASTE (Control-V) of the "838092233_SkyrimLustfulAnimals.part2.rar" file producing (under Windows that is) "838092233_SkyrimLustfulAnimals.part2.rar - COPY". Then you rename the copy to be "1378523301_SkyrimLustfulAnimals.part2.rar". WinRAR will then continue after you click "OK". Then WinRAR will stop again and ask for the part 3 part of the archive. This is the "Skyrim Lustful Animals.part3.rar" file. Again, COPY-PASTE that file and rename the "Skyrim Lustful Animals.part3.rar - COPY" file to the "1378523301_SkyrimLustfulAnimals.part3.rar" file. Then just click the "OK" button and let WinRAR finish extracting the entire archive. THEN (if you use MOD2) you use 7zip to make a new ZIP file of the above. You do this by finding the folder/directory where "1378523301_SkyrimLustfulAnimals" is located. Right-single-click on the folder/directory and select the 7zip option and when the submenu pops up select the "Add to 1378523301_SkyrimLustfulAnimals.zip". Once this is through you now have a valid "1378523301_SkyrimLustfulAnimals.zip" file that MOD2 will read. OR - you can do the installation manually from the folder. Edited July 23, 2023 by markem

thewandering1 Posted August 17, 2023 Posted August 17, 2023 I was annoyed by the fact that the horses had their cocks out all the time, they were kinda hard to ignore. Easy fix though, I just deleted the horse files from the mod and installed it like that, the game ran and the horses were no longer modified by this mod.

How critical is the Unofficial Patch to the operation of your mod? If it is not critical, can that master requirement be removed from your next release?

Probably because they're discord shared files and not from an actual file hosting service.

Not Sure if your using the animated ABC genitals mod as well as XPSE? If you are make sure ABC is AFTER XPSE in the mod order. I had the same issue. i moved ABC after XPSE and it fixed it.
