The other evidence of this is that when you put on the prisoner outfit and take it off, the movement changes.  So the prisoner outfit is almost certainly utilizing 3 breast bones (and that is expected these days.  You would have to go out of your way to DL some pretty old mods to find single breast bone outfits).  and when you put on outfits they generally replace your entire body mesh (hence the 3 breast bone physics we see!)

So the movement in the outfit is basically what breast movement should look like with P2P (although the clipping of the breasts through the outfit shouldn't be happening.  That could be a result of the CBPC config, or Bodyslide and preset related issues.. I'm going to assume they are Bodyslide and preset related at the moment, which means they are easily fixed)

The breast movement when naked isn't what P2P should be providing  This makes sense, because I've tuned 3-breast-bone parameters.  I have not included any single-breast-bone parameters in  CBPConfig_3b.txt

So your single-breast-bone body is not utilizing any of my breast movement tuning.  The boobs are showcasing un-tuned single-breast-bone parameters, the default baseline physics.

What body ("outfit") are you building in Bodyslide?  and with what preset?

if you are using 3BA, you should be building the "3BBB Body Amazing" outfit body.   and build it to what ever preset you like.  just make sure to build all your outfits with that same preset!

If you use something like Autobody or Obody, then you should build the "3BBB Body Amazing"  AND ALL your outfits with "Zeroed-Sliders" in the preset dropdown menu!  (those mods do all the morphing in-game or something like that.  it's pretty much magic and I suggest using one, probably Obody, even though I use Autobody)

 

 

 

It seems like I might be doing something wrong somewhere.

I'm using CBBE 3BA, and the preset is P2P. The outfit is the standard one provided by CBBE. I'm not using Autobody or Obody. I thought it might be an issue with the outfits, so I also tried using "3BA Vanilla Clothes and Armor," but obviously, it didn't change much.

I wasn't aware of using a single-breast-bone body. In Bodyslide, I've always set everything up as shown in the screenshot, clicking on "build" first and then "batch build." I intentionally avoided adding other mods right away to minimize potential issues, but apparently, it wasn't enough. What should I do?

You are doing everything correctly!

This is a weird issue and I'm not really sure what's going on anymore lol

Don't blame yourself or anything.  This is frustrating I'm sure

Are you using Vortex or MO2?  Mod Organizer 2 is really handy in determining what files are being loaded and by what mods.  That's helpful if you have 3 or 4 mods installed that overwrite the same files.  You might not realize the wrong mod is loading some files, unless you check with MO2.

 

Now, I don't suggest switching your mod organizer because that can be a mammoth undertaking.

But I highly suggest using MO2 if you think that would be helpful.

 

Before doing all that, just check the meshes you are building with Bodyslide.  First, just quickly build the body mesh

Then navigate to where the body you are building ends up, should be in:  data\meshes\actors\character\character assets

within the windows folder, check the "date modified" detail of the femalebody_1.nif and determine if it was recently created

if its got an old date then that could be a problem (this has happened to me with MO2 because I wasn't careful.  Maybe with Vortex too?)

No, I already use MO2.
But I think I've solved it by deleting the outputs of Bodyslide and FNIS and reinstalling the mods... 👀 Now there are no distortions and the elasticity seems to be the same both when the character is dressed and when they are naked.

I don't know why sometimes male hands/dick to vagina collision specifically just randomly stops working, other collision/belly bulge still seems to work.

Eventually after a while, maybe a cell change or game load, it just randomly starts working again.

 

Has anyone encounter something like this before?

Does that happen to you only with P2P configs? 

If so, it might have to do with my CBPCMasterConfig_SOS.txt and also how 3BA's script works. I'm not learned enough to know what's going on but that would be my best guess.

I may have encountered this myself, but I'm unsure of the exact circumstances.

Have you installed new mods (or removed mods) from a save prior to the issue?

How often does this happen?  Is it very rarely or very often? 

I'm not sure how much help I can provide, but maybe someone else has some good advice!

Yes, it only started happening after I started using P2P, haven't encounter this back when I was using Baka's base BHUNP.

I've only installed some simple dialogue/quest mods and TK dodge since starting using this mod, nothing that would affect this mod I don't think.

The problem happens quite often but it also goes away just as quick.

This issues seems to occur so randomly that I can't pin point the circumstances as well, there are even instances where the issue occurs with one NPC but not with another in consecutive sex scenes.

 

I did reverted back to Baka's settings for the breast movement and played around with the belly bulge and collision if this helps.

You should start a new game (and then don't install any new mods or disable/uninstall any mods) and see if you can recreate the problems!

I know none of those mods have anything to do with P2P or CBPC, but just see what happens.  I'm confounded and surprised often enough lol

If you're lucky, it'll be that simple!


Another thing to check, is it's possible you removed the hashtags from:

#[NPC Pelvis [Pelv]] #For Female Genitals
#0,-1.5,-3.5,2.5 | 0,-1.5,-3.5,2.5

 

(Found in CBPCollisionConfig_Female.txt)

If your setup doesn't have any hashtags at the beginning of the node [NPC Pelvis [Pelv]] and it's values, that could be interfering with vagina collisions.  That is the old way for vagina collisions to be triggered.  P2P uses the actual Labia nodes and vaginaB and Clitoral nodes for collision to be triggered.

 

BHUNP has the same CBPCMasterConfig_SOS.txt as 3BA.  Their SOS config places hashtags in front of 6 references.  P2P removes all the hashtags to utilize the ones 3BA and BHUNP disabled.  That could be causing troubles for you!  Try replacing P2P's with BHUNP's CBPCMasterConfig_SOS.txt (or just go into P2P's and add the hashtags back)

I left those hashtags in and only removed the one necessary to enable belly bulge as per your instructions in the front page.

 

Thanks for the suggestions I'll keep playing around and see if I can narrow down what causing this.

In order to make the penis collisions work for futanari, is it a good idea to use the condition like "IsFemale() AND IsInFaction(Schlongs of Skyrim.esp|00AFF8)"? I found that SOS seems to add actors with dicks to the fraction

Those are great questions, and probably a good idea!

So, futanari collision should just work for All females if you enabled it in the FOMOD. And all that is doing is adding the 2 male genital nodes to the female collision text file!

 

But are you talking about making a custom collision text file for futanari character's only (not All females)? 

I would think being as specific as possible with the conditions would be best!

But honestly, just trying it out and finding out for yourself is going to be way more illuminating than me trying to guess for you haha

I personally don't have any setup for futanari characters, so I just can't do any testing for you, sorry!

Let us know what you discover haha

Only a few females in my save are futanari. I just give them dicks manually so I only want to the penis collision work on these characters. All what I do is copying the female config, enable penis collision and use the mentioned condition.I have tested it in my save and it works for now. 

Maybe it can be another fomod option in the next version?

so wait a minute.  you are saying: you have discovered a condition (relying on Shlongs of Skyrim) that will enable futanari collision to ONLY females WITH a schlong?

As in, if somebody without any modding experience was to choose that option in the FOMOD, they would have futanari collision and it would ONLY affect females WITH schlongs!?  (using SOS I assume.  I'm not sure about TRX or any other penis mods)

I would definitely make that an option and give you credit

Or, you could make that a mod of your own!   But i'll for sure slap that in as an option if it works like I'm thinking.

 

The only reason I thought I couldn't implement anything like that, was because I just figured you would have to use conditions naming specific NPC's or something, like one config per NPC almost.  And then at that point it's really determined by your personal load order and what not.

But if no one had to go through that tedious mess every time they wanted to add another futanari character, that would be a huge deal!

Is there a recommended way to update this mod? Some of us likely have our favorite custom configurations and when an update comes, we don't know what was added or improved in the txt files. How do we reimplement our settings while not overwriting your improvements?

For myself, I've recently taken to having a text file with the modified strings I specifically modify.  Then on an update, I just copy over my personalized strings over the baseline strings from the standard (updated) config.

I have encountered this. I'm having trouble figuring out whether it's a game engine problem or if it's some other mod I have.

That's what I mean: You can use a single config (CBPCollisionConfig_Futa.txt in my case) to apply penis collision to every female NPCs with a dick.

The idea was inspired by similar kind of mods distributing animations (Open Animation Replacer) or spells (SPID) according to some specific conditions. After reading your guide I found a few lines of comments explaining the available conditions in CBPCollisionConfig_Female.txt, and one of them is the "IsInFaction" condition which I think may works. Then I looked through the source code of SOS and found the following codes add characters to "SOS_SchlongifiedFaction" during dick equiping:

I think the trick should work for every addon mods using the SOS system (including TRX used by me). The only possible exception in my knowledge is strapon mods using the SexLab system. In short words, if you give dicks to charactors through the SOS MCM, it should work; otherwise (through inventory for example) it may not work.

I want someone else to reproduce and confirm the trick, to see if there is any other factors influcing the result.

that's a really good question, and one I have no helpful answer for :(

I always knew this would be a bit of a problem for users

but honestly, itemizing everything I alter in the text files is pretty unrealistic

definitely do what BiggIsBy suggests!

-finger/pussy collision is better.  pussy opening is triggered at a closer range, rather than when fingers are farther away.

-fixed left labia's odd collision behavior.  overall labia/vagina collision is improved (I think)

-female butt/male pelvis collision is better.  scaled it back a bit.  just moved males pelvis backwards so it would make contact later

-butt/hand collision is a little better.

-reverted most finger collision spheres back to single spheres (from capsule shapes) because capsule shapes seem to barrage breast and labia collision spheres with collision events

-fixed/adjusted w100 nipple collision and movement

-adjusted & slightly improved breast/hand/finger collision

-added scrotum to female collision config for futanari characters to have scrotum collision.  not sure if it'll work.  let me know!  maybe it was already working and that was unnecessary.  that would be helpful to know as well!

-removed rear thighs from being able to affect nipples, as that was causing problems in some lesbian animations

-cleaned up and further scrutinized the [AffectedNodes] list in CBPCollisionConfig_Female.txt

 

So that was what I edited from 8.1 --> 8.2

Not entirely helpful for you, but I will try and help you figure out what I've altered:

 

-I have altered a bunch from CBPConfig_vagina.txt  (mostly some labia movement-related parameters and also a couple of collision-related parameters for vagina and labia)

the most notable changes were to labia .timetick and .timeStep  and also with labia's .Xminoffset and .Xmaxoffset .  clit, vagina, and labia node's .collisionMultipler were also played with.

 

-within CBPCollisionConfig.txt I moved the male's pelvis backwards by 2 units so it would make contact with female butt nodes later during a thrusting animation

 

-So with finger collision, inside CBPCollisionConfig_Female.txt I ended up removing most of the capsule shapes and made all of the collision spheres single-sphere shapes again.  I'm kind of disappointed with thumb and pinky ATM, but i will have to mess around with that for another update..

this might affect collision with everything 

 

-in CBPConfig_3b.txt i altered ExtraBreast3L.timetick and .timeStep (both nipples), and in CBPCollisionConfig_Female.txt im pretty sure I adjusted the nipple's collision sphere size

 

-with breast/hand/finger collision:  along with the above mentioning of reverting finger collision capsules back to single-spheres, I also played with the [AffectedNodes] list (regarding breasts1-3.  their lists are what i'm referring to, and i'm removing/adding finger nodes to the breast node's lists)

There might be a finger or two different from v8.1   the changers weren't wildly different or anything

I also probably slightly altered the hand and some finger's collision spheres in CBPCollisionConfig_Female.txt

All the finger and hand alterations were done to try and reduce the jittering effect (when nodes spaz out) when holding breasts 

the freaking-out is caused by too many nodes making contact at once (or something like that).  I try to reduce this by utilizing the [AffectedNodes] list and also space out the finger and hand collision spheres.

So far it's still giving me headaches lol

 

-and the last two points both refer to me altering the [AffectedNodes] list.  Not a hell of a lot, just cleaned up and made the mentioned edits.

 

-oh and I actually increased male genital sizes by a tiny amount

You are a super!  Good to know about TRX as well!

I shall add it to the futanari CBPCollisionConfig_Female.txt files and put it out with the next update (when ever that is)

I imagine it will work as we both anticipate :)

I feel like that toning down my belly bulging numbers in CBPCollisionConfig_Female help cut down the frequency it happens and also less likely to happen in external cells (Maybe because there's less NPCs around? Less resource intensive on the game?)

I'm neither using SOS anymore, nor do i have futas in my game. Still, i can see an obvious problem with this solution: "SchlongifiedFaction" just means the actor has a schlong, right? It doesn't say anything about what type of schlong. So "CBPCollisionConfig_Futa.txt" would be applied to normal females with SOS public hairs. 

 

So, great idea in theory. Not so much in practice.

Is that how SOS pubic hairs work?  They use the same faction?  

I'm glad you mentioned the problem with this.  It's still a better condition than P2P provides, just with a caveat :P

I would simply mention this fact with the FOMOD

people can still make a futa config for individual NPC's (or your own character) without much trouble anyways!

I'm not sure about public hairs as I don't use them. In theory if SOS think it's an addon it will be in the faction. Let's assume it's true and here are two solutions I can think of in a minute:

  • Solution 1:
    • Step 1: create a keyword "futa_addon_keyword" and using KID to distribute it to all the addons you installed
    • Step 2: create a faction called "futa_faction"
    • Step 3: create a scripted magic effect called "futa_effect", all the script do is to add actors to "futa_faction" when effect start and remove the faction when it ends
    • Step 4: make a corresponding spell named "futa_spell" with condition "WornHasKeyword(futa_addon_keyword)"
    • Step 5: use SPID to distribute the "futa_spell" to all the NPCs that may be futa (all females for example)
    • Step 6: use "futa_faction" in the CBPC config instead of the SchlongifiedFaction
  • Solution 2:
    • Step 1 & 2: same as Step 2 & 3 in Solution 1
    • Step 3: create a enchantment named "futa_enchantment" with the "futa_effect"
    • Step 4: patch addons installed to let them have the "futa_enchantment"
    • Step 5: same as  Step 6 in Solution 1

Both solutions should work with almost no performance hit thanks to the advanced tools like SPID and KID. To give a comparision, I will say that Solution 1 is more general and extensible if you install/remove futa addon mods frequently, while Solution 2 is more suitable for people only using a few fixed futa addons.

 

I don't know whether the pulic hairs are commonly used. Maybe the solution can be another mod I think.

    • Step 5: same as  Step 6 in Solution 1

Both solutions should work with almost no performance hit thanks to the advanced tools like SPID and KID. Yeah that's another mod for sure, and I'm not really able to put that together.

If anyone else wants to throw that together, I will link their mod in my description and make use of their faction they create!

Hmm... I'll have to investigate that. I definitely have some stuff that configures the belly bulging.
