Sorry to bug you! I love this mod so much but this is the first time I'm trying to download your movies (found it as part of other mods and didn't know the full extent of it).

I'm honestly curious, do you have a link to any site that can download the movies you've got for this mod that doesn't cost money? Mega made me get the app, then many gigs in wanted to force me to purchase access to keep downloading.

LL is free of charge, but it takes a while till you have downloaded everything. Mega is used for batch download, and its true, it has a daily limit of 4 gigs. Unfortunately I dont have another link. But you can up to 4 gigs of content at once, on mega, then the next day the other 4 gigs and so on. Hope that works for you.

Hi, I downloaded ItsMovieTime_v3.5.8.zip and DVDs (SD; Animated; NSFW; +18).zip

 

I can play the videos by clicking on the tv or the DVD player, but for some reason i cant see any Movie Premiere Holidays.

 

What did i do wrong?

You need to have Seasons pack for that feature to work. Also, only a few of the NSFW movies are premiere movies. Check with zip file name which one is premiere.

 @_TANK_   Hi! I use the movies from here and the sfw ones from modthesims...I'm having trouble getting interstellar and Kong: Skull Island and some other videos to play ...The movies from this page play with no issue. Do I need do something different to get the sfw one to play as well? thanks!

There is no difference between the movies here and MST. Are the said movies not showing up? If thats so, its because they are marked as premiere movies (while NSFW is not really marked as such; check with the movie zip file name which one is a premiere movie; in your case both interstellar and Kong are premiere movies), and they at first will be hidden and a new event will show up in your Sim calendar. The premiere movies will be visible on the day of the event (there is an interaction that shows up when you click the tv), and after the event is over, that movie will be visible in the movie picker like the rest of the movies. The premiere feature can be disabled, either by movie category or altogether, in the Its Movie Time Settings menu.

I seem to be having an issue with CAS, and I think it might be It's Movie Time causing the problem.

 

For a while now, I would get exception errors on occasion that MCCC points to as "trait_tracker".  I thought this was something to do with WickedWhims at first, because I started noticing it after the game crashed in Manage Worlds mode, (after which, WW gave me a warning about exiting properly and asked me to fix my save file).  I just decided to live with it, since the game seemed to be functioning fine otherwise.  However, after the Lovestruck update, this exception error has crept into Create-a-Sim mode.  It doesn't affect all households, but I found the Maxis-created Harris household from Evergreen Harbor is affected.

 

When I enter CAS for the Harris family, everything looks normal.  If I click from Cletus to Faye, Better Exceptions will open up an error page in my browser (something about broken trait mods, and then shows it found 0 trait mods; for reference, I do not use any custom trait mods).  In CAS, Faye's character model will be shown, but the name and sim info will be for Cletus.  Going back into the game, I tried using MCCC to look at Faye Harris's trait and see if anything stood out.  I noticed she had "Likes XXX Movies" trait, which I am guessing is from It's Movie Time.  I tried removing all the "Likes (whatever) Movie" traits that MCCC showed, and then going back into CAS, but that didn't seem to fix the problem.

 

However, I just ended up removing It's Movie Time all together, and when I launched the game again, I could edit the Harris household just fine.  In CAS, clicking from Cletus to Faye no longer caused Better Exceptions to trigger.  Faye's name and sim info was being shown, and I could edit the whole family just fine.

 

I'll continue without It's Movie Time for now, but I hope the information is helpful.  Thanks!

Hi! I REALLY want to use this mod but I ran into an issue. I downloaded the file and all the SFW and NSFW movies. When I launched the game, everything began moving slow. When I tried to travel, I got an infinite loading screen. I forced closed but now I cant open any household; i just get the infinite loading. Once I removed the mod and all the movies, I was able to open a household again. Please advise. Thank you!!

Finally after spending hours uninstalled all my mods that was this one missing. No more endless loading in cas  😃

Might not be related but did you install the latest Zerbu's Custom Preferences too? This is a requirement for the Movie Genre preferences, as loading CAS there would be an infinite loading screen.

The listed script mod failed to load and should be removed or updated. Failure: 'tanksmods/channels/dvd' (tanksmods.channels.dvd) cannot import name 'blueprintmethod' from 'sims4.utils'

So how do I fix this issue?

It's probably a Me problem as I'm the only one with this issue. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

It's probably a Me problem as I'm the only one with this issue. Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

 

Have you updated the game? What version is it? The blueprintmethod function was added a few versions back, so im guessing you need to update your game.

Don't know why, but this mod somehow messes with the game's fame perk menu (the menu shows up as normal, but there are no perk trees and quirk points). Everything goes back to normal as soon as I remove the mod. Before you ask, yes, I have already removed both localthumbcache.package and avatarcache.package.

I have just tested it on my side, just to make sure, i see no problem with the perk trees and quirk points, both are showing in the menu.

Yes, its the core mod with the script file. Mod Central is free though, just need to create an free account on Patreon.
