Yes found the issue, but i can do a permanent fix with the next release. The problem seems to happen when the mod tries to read the Config.log file to catch what kind of DirectX the player is using (this was necessary to provide the right icon for the movies in the movie list, in case players still had the old version and were on DX11). Try deleting your Config.log from Sims 4 folder, and see if this helps, as a new Config.log will be generated.

Still this same problem + upload new mc_lastexception.html (becouse idk if they new MCCC error or this same)

Its a matter of ItsMovieTime, but im about to release a new version (hopefully tomorrow), so that should fix the problem

Hello I downloaded this mod, central and movies but nothing is coming up when I click "open' on the DVD console. Where can I find the movies I downloaded or is this an issue for now?

I won't write it exactly now but click on the TV and look for it's movie time or watch movie.

I tried the link, Sadly TanksMods Mod Central now sits behind a Patreon paywall now, I don't want to signup, even for free. Kinda sad as the mod is no longer functional without something that's not posted here. Half a MOD ???? why is it not posted here?

Same boat, i'm sticking with the old version until its incompatible with the game due to this same issue.

Simply don't understand why you would only post half a MOD here ???? What's the point apart from pushing people to the paywall which I didn't think was allowed here. I like Tank Mods but this is a very sad move

TanksMods Mod Central is free, its not behind a paywall, you just register on Patreon for free, no payment required.

I understand, as said, that. I do not wish to sign up to a paywall operator. You could even have simply made it PUBLIC on patreon? Can I ask why you don't just post TanksMods Mod Central files here as it's required for the MOD to work now?

I just try to keep all the mods in one place, for simple updating, instead of uploading in here and on MTS, on Patreon, on Kofi, on Mega, on SFS, on Nexus, etc. Its just too many of those sites to keep track of them all, and because im more active on Patreon which i use to discuss new features or updates with the followers.

? But you update the "Its Movie time files " files on all these sites ? Also why not make "TanksMods Mod Central" PUBLIC on Patreon so there is no need to signup ? Love your MODs and kind of sad you have moved in this direction.

As someone who has done a tiny bit of modding, nothing approaching a Sliver of Tanks popularity, keeping track of every sites uploads and comments, across multiplee mods, games and communities, is a colossal ball-ache. One I noped out of.

 

Whatever the modder needs to make their life simpler is 100% their prerogative, especially for getting a free service. I'm not saying it couldn't be more convenient, I'm saying inconvenience is a small price to pay.

Its the required registration to access is the issue not updating in multiple locations that the issue is. Yes, its completely understandable that it easier and better to update in just one place but to full register for a Patreon to get access, that is the issue. I deleted my login and refuse to register again with them due to the practices they use and being hacked with the information they store on users.

You can always register a fake account there
