Thanks for mentioning this, but the first versions of the brothel will be small because it's a small player house where you start your business. In the later versions I'll check that there will be enough space for you all the NPCs. But I also have to check that it is not to big, because than it would look empty.

You could use a very large but run down house filled mainly with clutter (example for reference, the way the Pelagius wing of the Blue Palace is run down and cluttered and also obviously where the palace cleaning staff goes for their drunken parties).  As a starting brothel you would have only a few rooms cleared and usable but as you progressed the building could be cleared, cleaned and dressed up (as you can afford it) until it's a veritable mansion.

 

You could even block access to areas by piling junk in the doorways until removed by the next renovations to keep the amount of changes you have to do down.

Anything that adds even more contextual sex to Skyrim gets my vote. There are some nice ideas in this thread. I hope they come to fruitition. I completely support this idea of a Brothel mod. :)

 

Riften would indeed be a nice place. Maybe there can also be some kind of competition situation with Haelga's Bunkhouse going on, which may turn sexually or otherwise violent. Maybe top that little story with a "duel" between Haelga herself and the PC. LOL

If done right this would officially make you my Hero.

 

I like the Riften lower levels idea to let the player take it from dump to palace or well to keep it a dump if that's their thing. Maybe later on you could add a quest line where the player ether has to keep paying off the Thieves guild, fight them off (not wipe them out just bloody their nose a bit), earn the patronage of the Jarl's son, or complete their vanilla quest line. Maybe add the occasional mini quest where the player has to shake down or kill a deadbeat customer or start losing respect (causing girls to leave and more customer not to pay).

 

I must say though I also love the idea of a Hearthfire brothel.

If I may suggest maybe  add in as potentional workers (is this going to be strictly female prostitutes or male ones also?) a function where after you complete a quest a runaway will show up and after EVERY quest there after based on your standing "within a community"  there is say a 30-60% chance the next time you visit your brothel another runaway will have shown up. My suggestions I'm guessing are likely going to require some very advanced modding but I'm thinking something along the lines of if you have done a number of favors for say some Dunmer and equal number for some Khajit and none for anyone else and you complete a quest the "roll" comes up for a runaway to show up there is a 50/50 chance they will either be Dunmer or Khajit.

 

Also since it sounds like your talking about a buildable/upgradable brothel similar to the player homes added by harthfire maybe to conteract that suggestion limit the number of workers can be "assigned" to each area such as the starting size/building can only house say the player and 1-2 others the next upgrade 3-4 more. Maybe even multipule choices for upgrades such as say the player can choose from a strip show room, a fetish room, or just a couple of random suites for regular sex all of which have their ups and downs but the player can only have 1 or 2 depending on how you work it.

 

I know this is probably all way too complicated but if it is within the realm of possiblity... it just some suggestions no need to take any of it seriously if you don't like them or just don't want to bother with them.

Big Update:

(Well more or less)

 

I'm going to start the modding very soon. PC works smooth. 

But before I start I want to share my features/context/quest progress/ideas. 

Let's make it chronologically and start with the beginning:

 

A desperate man approaches you and asks for your help. On the way back from vacation in Cyrodiil the man and his beloved wife were by outlaws, robbing his stuff and wife. He then hurries back to Riften to find a brave man(or woman) to help get his beloved wife back.

 

Quest:

 

- A small quest with a bandit camp

- You have to save the wife from the bandits

- There are several ways to get this down

 1. You can just slaughter the hole camp

 2. You can buy the wife from the bandits

 3. You can sneak into the camp and secretly free the wife

- When you bring the wife savely back to her husband he is so happy to see her that he wants to thank you for that.

- Sadly everything they owned(mostly the money, because vacation in Cyrodiil is expensive) got robbed.

- He remembers that he owns a prosperty in the lower part of Rifton.

- Congratulations, you own a new house.

 

 

 

Now that you own the house you can start with your new business idea. 

First(we assume that you just started your new life in Skyrim) you have to get some money...

But how do you do that? With a dirty and crammed house? 

Well first you have to clean it.

So go into your new house and get it cleaned. Basically you just need a broom to get the dust away. 

(Thoughts how to implement this: 1. Get a broom. 2. Go into your house. 3. Activate spiderwebs to start cleaning. This process will skip like 3 hours in game.)

 

After you cleaned you house you can start with your business. But first you have to relax and sleep some hours.

 

You are awake and strengthened? Good. Now you can get yourself some paper and ink and start writing some flyers. People have to notice your new business.

Now you have the first important decision to decide:

1. Start a brothel.

2. Start a tavern.

(Notice: You later have the possibility to open a second "store". Which could be a brothel or tavern. But remember. Selling your own body will get you money faster.)

 

Brothel:

 

 

You decided to open a Brothel? Wonderful. 

Now write your flyers and spread in town. After you done this you might get some customers. There just get in, ask if you are [PC Name] and if you are the new prostitue in town. Or what so ever. Then they'll tell you what they want you to do.

Some are scary and don't want to get you pregnant so they want to take you anal, Others just want a blowjob. And then there are those wo just don't care if you get pregnant or not. (I'll check if I can implement SexLab - Procreation. Of course only if the original author gives me his blessing)

Blowjobs will get you the lowest amount of money, after that comes anal and then finally vaginally. 

So after a few customers you notice that the pregnance is a important topic to protitute. So you'll read in some books, ask the right people to find out how to have safe sex. You'll something about condoms made of textile, which aren't really safe, condoms made of animal intestines, which provide a better safety. And even forbidden sex magic, which will make the sperms infertile. (You should get some condoms now.)

After you practiced your business for some days. You'll notice that many man in Riften and even in villages surrounding Riften know about you and your quite decent skills. So you have to satisfy many man. You might need some help... 

You should find a girl to work for or with you. So get back to your table and write some job offers. Maybe a desperate enough girl will come. 

You had luck. There was a girl that is interested in working for you. From now on you don't have to work yourself. But you get more money if you work to, because you are way more skilled than your new girl.

After your business gets bigger and you made some decent money you notice that only the lower class comes to enjoy your services. Looking down on the floor you realise in what a bad condition this building is. You should hire some workers for renovation. Also you might want to invest more money into girls, new rooms or even an accountant. 

Now after you renovated your brothel, bought some new rooms, for every of your girls one you can start thinking about a  accountant. An accountant offers you a better view over your business and he even does all the writing jobs and he pays the girls for you, so you don't have to worry about that. 

You have the possibility to choose from three accountants. Everyone offers you some advantages and disadvantages. 

The first one offers you the possibility to get acces to a slaves market. The slaves cost some big money, but you just have to pay the food and the contraceptive for them. - Not much money right?

The second one has some good connections to some really good and reliable construction workers. He will use his connections to boost the building speed and reduces the prices. 

The third one is experienced in sexual practices and boost your and the girls experience gain.

When business grows way more you might consider to move out of this underground building, which isn't really nice or is it?

So you talk with your accountant about possible houses outside of riften. Well there is one. A small one, but it's better that this underground dungeon. So you buy it and move with some of your girls over there. Now that you have a own house you can attract way mor people, even travellers that didn't planned to go to a brothel, but now that they see one like to get some good services and a soft bed for the night.

But what should you do with that dungeon in riften? Well in your time as a prostitute you had some customers with strange wishes. So why shouldn't you invest in some "stuff" to satisfy their desires. So send a letter your old friends the construcion workers and let them renovate your old brother into a fetish dungeon.

 

 

Tavern:

 

 

Not much to say about that. Also I'm toooo lazy to write more...

I'll do my best to be your hero. 

Interesting ideas, but like the idea by "Ana" I'm not sure how to implement it. But I'll remember it, when se base structure is ready.

Basically. It is possible. I'm not sure how to realise it in the CK, but it can be done. I'll might think about that one in the future.

Heres and idea, You know Ysolda is always talking about becoming a merchant or running her own inn? Have the Dovakiin take on an epic quest, full of riches and a high number of naked woman. With your help, Ysolda turns her old run down shack of a house into a fully operational inn/brothel. There will be a purchase menu like upgrading a house from a steward if youre to lazy to gather resources or you can get resources and make the upgrades yourself much like hearthfire. You will be able to work as a prostitute if you want. Or you can go around skyrim "collecting" woman and bringing them back to Ysolda. She will then pay you for the prostitute. You could also add a feature to where you can split the profits. Problems would be getting Ysolda to act as an innkeeper and adding all the listed features. In the end, good idea, adds to immersion, but probably wont be close to easy.

That's a good idea. But basically it's not what i want to do. 

I want to build my own brothel. I wan't to make it for the player. And not for some NPC.

Belethor got killed during a vampire attack in one of my games and Ysolda appeared inside the store in his place.   Taking her somewhere else might be a problem to the existing game mechanics.

Look at the BYOHHouseScript.psc for Hearthfires, it looks like all the furniture is "present but disabled" and just enabled or disabled by script. Since they manage to build and furnish a whole house with several options I would say the answer is yes. Just as the vanilla homes can be changed from rooms with crates and boxes to furnished rooms.

 

Moving things is less certain but there are mods that allow you to move things around in your house, I'll have to find one of them again and look to see how they manage that.

Example from my own code you should be able to get the X, Y and Z (and/or their angles) as long as you can create an object reference to the item. That one handles actors and computes the distance between the but it should work for just about everything in Skyrim.

So the heartfire Thing is just scripted? I might check some of these scripts.

I haven't looked in any of Skyrims Scripts, because I basically don't even open the Skyrim folder. Are these Scripts commented? Or easy to understand? Or should I just start with the scripting tutorials at the Creation Kit Wiki?

And another Question. I have some scripting knowledge ( batch scripting, some Delphi 6 and a little bit of java and I wrote some scripts in gml a scripting language from game maker Studio by yoyo Games), but I don't really get how to part the scripts and how I attach them in game. And is the AI from NPC handled via Scripts too?

I like the idea about integrating the possibility of pregnancy with Procreation, but did you consider using Hentai Pregnancy instead? The author turned it into an esm file, namely a master, and allowed for plugins to reference it. It may be easier on you using that one. Basically what I'm thinking is having your mod manually configure different odds for a person getting pregnant via a script that references that particular mod. And depending on whether you have a condom or sex spell or whatever, the odds go down. The best part is Hentai Pregnancy works for NPCs as well. It's not as in depth into all the real life stuff as Procreation, though that's the part of Procreation that turned me off to it in the first place.

 

Sometimes there is a such thing as TOO much realism in a fantasy game after all.

Minor Update:

 

What will the Brothel in Riftten feature?

Well, you start with one room, later you can upgrade your Brothel with severql features/rooms:

 

Additional Rooms:

- A room, where your Prostitutes can work.

- A room, where your Prostitutes can sleep/live.

-- Both is needed to upgrade the capacity of your Brothel. Max Capacity for Riften Brothel: 6

- A room for "special" services aka. Fetish room with stuff from ZAZ.

- A room for you to live in.

-- Upgradable to give your accountant some space to live and work.

- a shower room for you/your girls where you/they get this sticky stuff off their bodies

- a cellar to store your products like drinks, condoms, sex toys.

 

Main room upgrades:

- more privacy: adds some walls into the room(will be deleted as soon as you get your own room)

- a bar to sell some drinks and keep your customers happy.

-- You have to manually buy the drinks or give your accountant a proper budget

--- the more expensive your drinks are the more the customers get "happy" which will affect how much they'll pay to your girls in a positive way.

--- if the drinks are too expensive less people will buy.

- a fire place to keep everything worm and comfty.

- more details like stuff on walls, stuff hanging down from the ceiling etc.

 

The main room arrangement for the Brothel in Riften finished, needs now more details and the implementation into the quest line.

 

I'll add the starting quest in a later version. Well. Besically when the first brothel is finished.

If someone wants to contribute to this mod feel free to raise your voice kn this thread or send me a PM.

I could really need some help with the starting quests. Also if you want to design a NPC with custom clothes/armour and hair you can do so, just send me PM with a Picture of the NPC, the name of the armour/clothes/hair and a link to the original mod and i'll try to get the rights to use in the mod. Maybe I'll add Appachiis Sky Hair as a requirement would make studf easier.

 

Some other thoughts: Maybe in the second Brothel I'll add something like a outdoor place for fun. Are there animations for sex while sitting on a chair?

Ideas for the outdoor place:

- Something like a pond in japanese style with banks in this pond, where customer can have sex with your girls.

- Some garden with some "private" places for some fun.

- the pond will have a small waterfall.

Some other ideas for the second Beothel:

- same room additions like the first one.

- instead of the fetish room you can get an extra bar room with some dance platforms

- the hole brothel will have dwemer technology for lighting e.g. switch color of the lights, turn light on/off, sauna with steam and stuff, the waterfall, maybe an entrance with fountaine...

 

If you have some more ideas fell free to post them I'll check if I can implement it. And if you don't like a feature please tell what and why and maybe I'll find a compromise or I can explain it to you in more detail so you understand why I want to implement this or that.

I just want the ability to hire female NPCs as prostitutes. It would be nice if you could have one of the prostitutes as a companion so she can whore on the go. That way she can earn some money so I can buy some black soul gems etc.

This could work very well with the slave system i'll integrate. So you will be able to buy/sell slaves or you can enslave some yourself.

I dont know how you have planned to make the brothel look like, but if you need any of the resources in my mod (http://www.loverslab.com/topic/20611-sextreme-loading-screens/) for, idk, statues more likely, I would be happy to provide them.
