There are a lot, that comes to mind. rn would be Reborn... I like the way he thinks XD

But you should add manga/manwha bc there are a lot of really good manga chars that doesn't have anime, like Itto Ogami for example, Ken from Sun Ken rock, usually the more adult mangas/manwha never get an anime adaptation because when companies make an anime they are aiming worldwide reaction and for western world anime = kids so unfortunately more mature stuff usually don't get an adaptation.

Possible the best that I can do on that front is mention some of my favorites from a particular genre or sub-genre rather than an entire medium.

 

How could I compare Doctor Tenma from Monster to Katsuragi from Senran Kagura or either of them to All-Might or Deku from My Hero Academia or Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star? How can one quantify the qualities of Guts from Berserk to put him over Denji from Chainsaw Man?

 

It is no easier than picking one's favorite character from Novels. Is Sherlock Holmes better than Paul Baumer from All Quiet on the Western Front or vice versa?

 

Picking favorites from a specific series is a much more reasonable endeavor.

Ghost in the Shell 1995 is my most favourite one, due the philosophical questions. I don't watch many anime's, except for those titels i've posted. I also watched Ergo Proxy and i'm watching Serial Experiment Lain.
