Tearing my hair out over AP, BodySlide, and FNIS

I recently re-downloaded Oldrim along with a bunch of mods, using MO2 for the first time. This time, I meticulously combed through every mod, making sure that I was installing it all correctly; FNIS through MO2, using LOOT and TES5Edit, everything. I had more than one hundred installed and working. My character's proportions were painstakingly tweaked in BodySlider, and everything was gravy.

Then, I used AP to have sex with some random NPC. My character's torso becomes huge, and doesn't shrink down after, even though I have AP set to not rescale during sex.

Now, all my BodySlide sliders have disappeared, leaving only the empty categories. My character is misshapen across every single save, even previous ones, and the game crashes when I try to start a new game.

I'm positively at my wit's end, and about to crack. After hours of futile searching across the internet and every modding site I know, I've tried about a dozen different fixes with no success.

Can anybody help?


Just to be extra-clear, this is in relation to the in-game body sliders through RaceMenu, added by this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59876/

Scratch that part about the game crashing upon starting a new game. It no longer crashes, but the awful BodySlider issues are still present and persistent.

I'd edit my post for continuity, but it looks like that's not possible on this forum.

 

 

EDIT: Forget it. It's all falling down. I'm going to wipe my system and start over.

Mo2 uses a virtual instal so you shouldn't need to wipe skyrim. Just uncheck the mods to turn them off.

 

I'm not sure what "AP" means. Is it supposed to inflate body parts after sex?

Animated Prostitution.

 

I've been trying, installing and uninstalling and reinstalling, trying to get those body sliders back. Nothing has worked.

Remove BS (uninstall) from MO, delete any generated meshes and .tri files and quit MO. Start it again, install latest BS and rebuild your body and armors. Your generated files will be in overwrite folder - right click on overwrite folder (in MO left window) and chose "create mod" and name it e.g. BS Files... Next time you run BS, files will be generated in that (BS Files) folder.

I'm sorry, I should've been more specific. I'm trying to get this mod to work: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59876/ - It gives me extra control over a range of body proportions, and not just the obvious ones.

The extra in-game sliders in the RaceMenu are only showing correctly on one single race - the standalone Minotaur race.

For starters you may want to try using more recently updated mods. AP is old, and also totally obsolete if you ever want to use anything Sexlab related since you'd already have an animation framework. Same with these additional sliders, a lot has happened since 2015... I'm sure you can find ways to shape your bodies to whatever you want if you stick to currently supported mods.

Any suggestions? Like I said, I'm not running SE, which is why I have to stick to outdated mods.

 

 

Also, I'm not entirely sure it's all AP's fault, even if it triggered the issue.

What does that means? Mods have been made and released since 2015. SL for LE is from 2016, still works flawlessly compared to whatever you can do with AP, and there are hundreds of mods to use with SL as the base framework.

You can check the download section or narrow down a bit which kind of mods you're looking for so others can give you recommendations.

edit: oh you're the one trying to run reproccer too. Yeah, I strongly recommend you to a) refer to the mod pages/comments of these mods to see if someone else is still using it with some degree of success, or b) try using something that has been updated in the last couple of years or so. Just an idea.

I thought it might be that but I couldn't believe it would be. I thought I was on a Fallout 3 thread for a second there.
You can download Sexlab, use that. Get some animation packs. Get the animation loader and load them. Use a different mod for starting SL scenes, there are dozens.

You need to start with Sexlab, it was made for Oldrim so you can still use it. I never had all the DLC for Oldrim so I never had LE, and I had to SSE separately.
Just go through the requirements.
You need to run FNIS every time you enable or disable a mod with animations.
Running FNIS through MO2 can be iffy because of permissions, so it's better to just install FNIS manually to your actual Skyrim folder then run through MO2.
