dysfunkshunal Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Hey, game design major here. I promised my skillset to animations while still playing Oblivion before the HongFire and Wolflore community even moved over here. I didn't really want to spend a lot of time learning stuff for TES4 when I was awaiting this game, so count me in on this round for animations of all types, not just sex. The only thing is, I never used Blender, only Maya and 3ds max. So this might have a learning curve, but at least I believe the concepts will be the same.
badgeryiff Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Going for my grad degree in animation right now, and I'll be in a course this coming semester designed around learning technical aspects of virtual environment creation (UDK and such). My prof said he'd be ok with me doing a project with the Skyrim CS, even though it'll be more work for me, so hopefully I'll be able to learn that and offer some assistance in my free time. I'm pretty scripting-illiterate though, so maybe I could just make animations to use, but I guess we'll see. Personally, I'd like to work on transferring over the idea from Lover's Bitch =)
Guest Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 I'm not much of a modder... frankly I have no clue where to truely begin... I tried to make Harry Potter's Avada Kedavra spell to the point that every time you cast it... you gained crime... needless to say it didn't work... kept saying script code doesn't exist. My point is I'm more of a thinker than anything. I'm hoping that if someone makes Tamago again for Skyrim, they will combine it with a working version of MTCS... frankly the only maternity clothes I could get to work was/is the 3rd trimester. I would love to help design/create plugs, but again I just don't have the knowledge base to get anything past a good idea. (tried adding 1 npc based on Canine slut race... yeah crashed the game before it even started. Oh well.)

birdo23 Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Okay' date=' okay, last time I bring this up for a while I swear but... ...What about that concept but with a dragon? >w> [/quote'] I second this so hard. Dogs and horses are nice but dragonz would be a great addition. And I'm disappoint @ release rate of the CS, it better be pretty stable when it does get released.
threeddd33 Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 There sure are plenty of dungeons in this game that are begging for sex mods. I'd almost think that the ?Riften? area was made just for these type mods. heh I can just see it now, the dog fu... errrr... fighting arena.
D_KNIGHT_PEN Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 threedd33 i know what you mean i saw a dungeon that has a prison in it that is locked by pull chains, that are quite a was a way, would work wonders for slave mods.
steelcryo Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Anyone talking about slave/bondage mods, look at the torture chamber in the dark brotherhood sanctum once you've finished that quest line...
badgeryiff Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Okay' date=' okay, last time I bring this up for a while I swear but... ...What about that concept but with a dragon? >w> [/quote'] I would be all for helping with that, its just a matter of how complicated that might end up being with the size difference and whatnot. Again, right now all I really know how to do is animate (and I'm decent at modeling/texturing), and haven't even gotten a chance to work on anything outside of Maya, so don't know how much help I can really be.
Athstai Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 I will probably start working on a story based sex mod like my Oblivion DarkLessons mod as soon as the CS is released. Because the sex scenes are actually only quite a small part of it, there is no need to wait for the a Lovers framework to finish as I can just work on the story part and then put in all the smut once it is done. If the animations are ready before any framework is on the horizon I might write a small one specialized on scripted scenes myself, but otherwise I suppose I won't be much help in the animation/basic frameworks sections, but concentrate on story content.

I don't know anything beyond very basic scripting, so we'll just have to see how it goes. We won't know anything until the CS is released. The size difference isn't much of an issue. Dragons can use their tongues and the ladies can use their hands, tits and face... or if it's a lady dragon, their whole arm...
patzy Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 Well when the Creation Kit is released (I expect it to be released long time after new nifscripts, nifscope and perfect DMRA Body) I'll convert my DMRA Lab to Skyrim and make most of those armors avaliable again, especially the high detailed ones, and I have lots of ideas of how I could tweak them to winterise them in my mind, rly can't wait for it.
dewguru Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 I've done some personal mods, may even end up posting one to the FONV SexOut thread if I ever decide to polish it up some for release. I've scrapped my Oblivion and a large FallOut mod plans to play and plan for Skyrim with the intention of modding for it. I've already a bunch of ideas and all I'll need is some animation files that I can tie into.
Presto Posted November 21, 2011 Posted November 21, 2011 I have a question about the clothing mods for this one. It's been forever and a day since I played a non modded version of Oblivion so I forget how the vanilla game was in that but from what I'm seeing so far in Skyrim there is only 1 item to equip your character in a bottom and a top combo. So when you put on "party clothes", one item gives you an entire outfit. Does this mean it will be an issue making and using mods that have separates? I always enjoyed the clothing mods that were mix and match and tended to avoid the ones that were all or nothing. Will it be an issue making separate tops and bottoms for this game with the new system? Also, am I the only one that misses seeing their character when I open up the inventory screen? I have put nearly 60 hours into the game and I almost forget what my character looks like since I never look at them. I use third person from time to time but I feel like I'm missing out big time not having that avatar in my menu to see how my armor looks without fighting the games third person camera angles to get a good look.

Guest user29 Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 whoa, is that a concept pic for a mod? I doubt anyones been able to restructure the UI like that yet.
thesin Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 That UI mock looks absolutely fantastic! Sorting, filtering, choice between list and icon view, and finally the char portrait... all I would ever need for an inventory. Care to share the source for this, Med?

sora3 Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 The UI is quite modular to do. So technically, you can do a fusion of the current and Oblivion's system quite easily.
Med111 Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Care to share the source for this' date=' Med? [/quote'] It's a WIP project, you can find it at official forum: http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/topic/1278538-skyrim-ui-pc-specific-redesign-no-2/ But that's a bit OT, isn't it?
idvoid Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 i find it looks pretty awesome. i guess the moon phase is kinda funny to know about but the rest is fine. i like being able to find any info i want to know in a clear and organized manner. hope to see this get made fast when the CK finally appears.
Skaldy Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 is creation kit released? i have seen some script extender files and bunch of plug in mods
CHIKN404 Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 is creation kit released? i have seen some script extender files and bunch of plug in mods Nope, we just have some people that are managing to get things done without it.
matisaac Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Hi, Bethesda needs to release that construction kit so that, that mod can be made, Sad how they can move so much more futher in so many aspects of the game from oblivion to skyrim then fall so far in such a simple area, they didnt even have the rotatable character, they should'a' realised that, that was mandatory. However, thats console ports for you.
Halstrom Posted November 24, 2011 Posted November 24, 2011 I haven't got Sykrim yet and probably won't bu it for at about 6 months, I need to finish my Sexout Pregnancy Mod at NV, then I certainly will port it across when Sexout comes across.
