It needs to merge and split vertex buffer data, like in here: https://github.com/eArmada8/vbuffer_merge_split

Some games, like this one or Trails series, store vertex buffer data in multiple files (vb0, vb1, etc). But blender can only handle 1 unified vb file, so modders need to combine the vb files into one before editting the 3d model, then split the editted file again before putting the model back into the game.

And I'm totally stucked at a different point. The "Vertex Groups" data are missing, which control the animation of the model.

The modded model won't move without these data.

 

 

 

Seems like the vertex data dumped by 3dmigoto is already weird.

The "BLEND INDICES", which supposed to be integer numbers that correspond to the "Vertex Groups" in blender, are overwritten by the "BLEND WEIGHTS" data.

 

 

 

I think I'm giving up on modding this game.

Going deep into 3dmigoto itself is way over my skill level

if clothing destruction is based on changes to the texture, it would be pretty easy to increase the clothing damage i think. if its based on the 3d model then we'll have to wait until someone makes it easy to edit the models and/or tells us how to do it i guess

In 3DM could edit texture in the same way as bullet girls.

 

But i can't import vb/ib in blender. I want to see UVmap, and edit model.

I see much potential in this for making the clothing damage more intense.

It should allow you to see the UV maps.

The mods being discussed requires 3dmigoto which wouldn't work on Switch. It's still possible, but someone would have to package the mods into the games files for it to work on Switch, and more often than not nobody is really willing to do that.

oh for people who were curious, the reason the bra is rendered underneath your clothes is because her shirt becomes very slightly transparent when its wet. its hard to see but you can see the floral pattern through her shirt

 

only was able to figure it out because someone on the steam forums made a bepinex mod that prevents the character models from vanishing when the camera gets close

there is another mod on steam forums that will remove meshes in photo mode. Thank you for mentioning the model characters vanishing because that way bugging me a lot.

Is the topless option just a texture edit? If so, I hope we start getting mesh edits soon for true nude mods.

Made a few changes to the mod for personal use but thought I'd share them here.

Tsugumi's shirt is only slightly shorter than the default, her skirt and considerably shorter and also gave her heart-shaped pubes.

 

You guys are doing amazing work here! Keep it up!

Is merging the custom skins possible? Like, having a topless Tsumugi with no skirt on, or having a Tsumugi only without the shirt?

Also, Everytime I try downloading and running the game with the pantsu uncensor mod it not only crashes the game, but my pc as well (gives me the blue screen of death).

Does anyone know a way to fix this?

It is. Just use a photo editing software like photoshop and mess around with the texture files. You can use the default and lingerie versions as reference to see what parts of the texture are changed between the versions, and erase what you don't want.

Iyo uniform without lower body modeling
simply delete the panties will be missing
if modify the swimsuit of DLC
it will feel simpler (or extract the model)
