shinderhizzle84
So I've been reading around trying to figure this out. Either it's not working correctly on my computer (even though I followed the installation instructions several times to a TEE) or it's the most poorly named major mod available on this site. The SexLab ANIMATIONS Framework...it doesn't come with any animations? Or does it? Do I have to download an actual animations pack, such as ZaZAnimations, for it to make anything happen? I've downloaded a couple of other SexLab mods such as Defeat and that Prostitution one, but when I interact with a client and he/she says "I'm right behind you", after I tell them that "this looks like a good spot", NOTHING HAPPENS. What gives? I've run FNIS, I'm most definitely using the latest version of SKSE, which happens to be installed correctly. Do I need to download, in addition to the SexLabs ANIMATIONS Framework, an actual animations pack?If so, which ones are considered best? And secondly, if that is the case, I propose re-naming the SexLabs Animations Framework mod to something else that doesn't have the term 'Animations in it'. I can see just by looking over the first page of the technical support forum very briefly that I'm not the only new guy/gal who is confused by this notion. Maybe just leave the word 'Animations' out of the title if it doesn't carry any animations within itself? And if it DOES, and I'm just looking like a dumbass right now...why the heck isn't it working on my game right now? What else can I do to try and get all of these animations working? Link to comment
Vaukalak
SexLab has many animations included. But you should start your Skyrim using skse_loader.exe, not SkyrimLauncher. Link to comment
Someone92
SexLab Framework is a modder's resources; it allows modders to relatively easily start sex animations. If you're not a modder it does nothing, at least not on it's own. To actually see any sex animations you need a mod that uses the SexLab framework; those are often called plugins and can be downloaded here: http://www.loverslab.com/forum/51-downloads-sexlab-framework/ SexLab Framework comes with a handful of animations but "animation packs" like http://www.loverslab.com/topic/19182-wip-sexlab-zaz-animations-v20130804/ can add more. If you use plugins and still see no sex animations you properly have installed something incorrectly, go here for help: http://www.loverslab.com/forum/50-technical-support-sexlab-framework/ Link to comment
Ashal
You are emphasising the wrong word. It's not SexLab ANIMATIONS Framework, it's SexLab Animations FRAMEWORK. If anything I'd argue it's the best named major mod on the site, not poorest. Sexout and Lovers with PK all do the same thing, and give zero indication of what they actually are. Link to comment
shinderhizzle84
I am not a modder, I'm just a player who uses a lot of mods. I haven't played Skyrim in several months and came on to see if there were any new mods--needless to say, there were tons, including an entire sub-forum of mods called SexLab Framework. I am running the game through SKSE. I've run a ton of mods on Skyrim before, I am pretty okay at doing so, and I've installed every single mod I'm using through SexLab perfectly down to a tee, yet something is still not right. @Someone92, so I have downloaded several of these plugins. I've downloaded Radiant Prostitution, SexLab Defeat, and SexLabWorkingGirl. All of the dialogue/combat options from these mods all work just fine...but when I activate any of the sexual encounters in-game, nothing happens. For instance, if I prostitute a character of mine, the character says "Okay, let's get ready" or something along those lines...then nothing happens. If I open up a dialogue box with that character at any point, I can say "I believe you owe me some gold", and then the encounter is over, and nothing ever happens. The same happens with the other two plugins, although obviously with slightly different details within the encounter. But nothing ever happens. The game just goes on playing as normal. The World of Skyrim continues and nothing changes or happens...neither of the characters even make any form of animation towards each other or indicating that something has happened or anything. Do these mods not come with animation packs installed? In the MCM for SexLab I see a huge list of available animations that I can toggle on or off for various types of encounters...does SexLab not actually come with any of those animations? Do I *NEED* to download ZaZ or anything like that for any form of animation to play? Because right now, that seems to be the case. And Someone92, while I appreciate the help you have give me thus far, I do need to point out that we already *are* in the SexLabs Technical Support forum. I'm not going to make a 2nd thread for the exact same problem that I'm already having Thanks for the help so far guys. Appreciate it. Link to comment

Liuli
Do I *NEED* to download ZaZ or anything like that for any form of animation to play? No. You need SexLab framework with it's requirements and a SexLab plugin mod and that's it. Your SexLab is most likely not installed correctly or not placed in the correct place in the load order, under all .esm files but above the .esp files. Link to comment

Nothing has solved my issue. What am I supposed to do next? Exactly what the FAQ says to do next. Still not working? Well shit. I don't know. Check the technical support section, for other threads of people having similar problems, or if none help/exists, make a new thread in the support section. If making a new support post, be sure to include all the details of the problem, things you tried to do to fix it, your full mod load order, and a debug log from a quick play session where your problem existed. If you don't know how to enable or find debug logs, read here: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showpost.php?p=31562721&postcount=2 Link to comment
shearx
when you run FNIS, does it show in the log area that SexLab was found and included? Also, do you see an MCM menu when you press ESC then Mod Configurations? Is SexLab set to DISABLED in the MCM menu? Link to comment

Liuli
FNIS looks like it should. What's your load order? Wondering if there's conflicts with other mods or some such. Also, try to start a new game and see if the problem persists in that new game as well. Link to comment

No, ugh, haha. That sounds like it's going to suck, but I guess I will do so now and get back to you all and see if that works or if the animations and such still don't play. By related mods, does that include stuff like nude patches and whatnot? Link to comment

I've had to do this several times to track down problems, and it is a huge hassle, especially with mods like Tropical Skyrim (almost 1GB in size) EDIT: Also make sure you make a "clean" save before re-enabling any mods. And for the love of everything, back up your current saves in case something goes horribly wrong =X EDIT 2: Make sure you install and run FNIS as well, since it is required by SexLab anyway Link to comment

Gryphes
No it's not fine I guess the number of animations are missing. as I remember there are 1000+ animations come with the Sexlab. try to reinstall the Sexlab again and see how it works. anyway basically Sexlab is a framework for modders who can use the animations in it without making new animations by using 3dmax and NifSkope. let's say you are a modder and you want to develop a consensual sex mod where the player approaches to a NPC and ask for sex and then engage in sex. then all you have to do use the animations come with the Sexlab and then important them into your mod.so it's so simple. Sexlab itself doesn't do anything you need a mod written on the Sexlab to see how it works. Sexlab is exactly like .NET Framework. .NET framework itself doesn't do anything but there are a millions of software written on it. it just makes the life easy of modders. so s/he doesn't need to work hard to develop a sex mod. try these steps then I am sure it should work properly. First download the Nude bodies (both male and female) and Install it http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/6667/? Second download and install the Sexlab (download the SexLabFramework.v114.7z not the other one, it's just for updating) http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/150-skyrim-sexlab-sex-animation-framework-v114-updated-0724/ Third download and install a mod which uses the Sexlab framework http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/158-sexlab-romance/ Fourth download and install the FNIS http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/11811/? Fifth download and install the SKSE http://skse.silverlock.org/ Sixth download and install the SkyUI http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/3863/? -------- now run the FNIS, select the SKELETON patch and Update FNIS behavior and then run the game through SKSE. that's all run the game and wait for a couple of minutes until the SKyUI shows the Sexlab on its Menu. after it says the Sexlab menu is added then save the game and load what you have saved. then approach to a NPC then you can see there is a NEW dialogue shows. click on it and try an option. if you wanna see the Hotkeys to handle the actions. go to the Main Menu and find the Sexlab ,in there there is an option called Hotkeys. click on it and find the Keys. you can use these keys to manipulate the actions. NOTE: I suggest you to use the Nexus Mod Manager. Link to comment
