Confused: What Exactly Is SexLab Framework?

No it's not fine I guess the number of animations are missing. as I remember there are 1000+ animations come with the Sexlab.

try to reinstall the Sexlab again and see how it works.

 

anyway basically Sexlab is a framework for modders who can use the animations in it without making new animations by using 3dmax and NifSkope.

let's say you are a modder and you want to develop a consensual sex mod where the player approaches to a NPC and ask for sex and then engage in sex. then all you have to do use the animations come with the Sexlab and then important them into your mod.so it's so simple. Sexlab itself doesn't do anything you need a mod written on the Sexlab to see how it works. Sexlab is exactly like .NET Framework. .NET framework itself doesn't do anything but there are a millions of software written on it.

it just makes the life easy of modders. so s/he doesn't need to work hard to develop a sex mod.

 

try these steps then I am sure it should work properly.

 

First download the Nude bodies (both male and female) and Install it

Second download and install the Sexlab (download the SexLabFramework.v114.7z not the other one, it's just for updating)

Third download and install a mod which uses the Sexlab framework

Fourth download and install the FNIS

Fifth download and install the SKSE

Sixth download and install the SkyUI

now run the FNIS, select the SKELETON patch and Update FNIS behavior

and then run the game through SKSE. that's all

run the game and wait for a couple of minutes until the SKyUI shows the Sexlab on its Menu.

after it says the Sexlab menu is added then save the game and load what you have saved.

then approach to a NPC then you can see there is a NEW dialogue shows. click on it and try an option. ;)

if you wanna see the Hotkeys to handle the actions. go to the Main Menu and find the Sexlab ,in there there is an option called

Hotkeys. click on it and find the Keys. you can use these keys to manipulate the actions.

 

 

 

My SexLab installation, along with Immersive Animations and a few others, comes to only 853 total. So as far as I can see from his FNIS, it doesn't seem like he's missing animations.

 

 

I have Immersive Animations ,Fully animation meal potions and Sexlab and it shows I have 1000+ than Animations in the FNIS.

 

 

 

 

There was a point when I used ZF Primary Needs and that bumped my animations up over 1300, so any mod that does something simalar will add a bunch. Regardless, less than 1000 is fine for his setup.

Thats all fine and dandy, but your installation is different from his, thus a different number of animations. Namely, the potions mod you have. He's not missing any animations, of this I'm sure.

 

From what he's saying, they don't even try to start. If he were missing animations, he would get a CTD if they tried to play.

 

Back on topic, what may be happening is simple script lag. With enough mods installed that use scripts, you'll end up either not playing any animations at all, or they will try to play like 3 minutes late and goofy things will happen.

Potion doesn't add a lot of animations. it only adds 170 animations. and my installation shows there are 1130 animations. so lets forget about the potion mod. then we have 960 animations. well It seems I was a bit wrong cause Sexlab with the FNIS's animation count don't exceed the 1000+ but still he is still missing some animations. at least he should have 960 animations minimum.

Haha this is getting nowhere. Lets just wait for him to report back after removing all his other mods.
