Mods typically can't do that, as already stated, acess through forum software is atleast uncommon.

Just as uncommon as mods having file acess to the server, which would be needed.

I would think the only person that has root access to the server is Ashal. But it's probably as you say and a master list of permissions. How that shit works in a server OS can't be that different from a regular OS. Wonder if MS gives themselves a back door with their software? ?

Once an organisation got to size you'll typically find a 2nd commander.

> First of all, I do not claim that this is happening on LL, but I must know if our Private message box is protected from reading by the people who aren't included or added to the conversation. I need to know does moderators and @Ashal have right and access to read our messages and if they do, under which circumstances? You see, I exchange very delicate and sensitive information with some LL members and I don't want them to be read by third part.

> "Why don't you use your private mail for correspondence?" - some of you may ask. I'll tell you: my private and business mails were hacked so many times, although we have a hardware firewall key. So far, LL showed as secure place for PMing. Therefore, I just ask a simply question about our privacy on LL.

Moderators cannot see PMs unless:

1) They are added

2) They are reported (in this case we have access)
