Swyke Posted October 27, 2022 Posted October 27, 2022 Hello, right now I would like return to Fallout with "Tale Of Two Wastelands". My last Installation was with TTW2.x, it was very stable even with the Sexout TTWquest overhaul, fertile breeder etc. but sadly some day I deleted this installation. My last trial with TTW3.2 was terible, the game looked ugly, the sex in Vault101 didn't work right and suddenly I couldn't load or quit the game anymore (all options where greyed out) Now I would like to start again, of course with TTW3.3.2. ... ... and I want to make it right. I try to follow the usual instructions (https://thebestoftimes.github.io/index.html) So, right now TTW3.3.2 is installing, and I will try to make a good locking and stable installation without Sexout first. But I should know, wich Body I should use, when planing to add Sexout, the Pregancy and Maternity packs. I loved Type N becaus I like the smaler and more natural look, but I am open to any suggestions. And then I would like to know how to make Sexout in TTW work as it should: What I should do. And what I should avoid. If this doesn't start completely terrible, and I don't loose my interest in the game too fast, I will post my progress, and offer help for others. And if I am realy sucessfull - with your help! - maybe I return to my "Moriaty The Pimp"-mod, I had begun those long years ago (Moriaty tempted the naive female MC to do some ... things for him). So aly help is appreciated ... thank you!
_NXvLL_ Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 Trying to do the same, I hope you sorted it out Currently I'm Using Mod Manager 2, installed TTW 3.3.2 and followed these 2 guides: For TTW: https://thebestoftimes.github.io/index.html Then for more immersive stuff (Like weapon animations, UI improvements, etc): https://wastelandsurvivalguide.com/ And for Project Nevada stuff without Project Nevada, their suggestions: https://vivanewvegas.github.io/avoid-mods.html#replacing_pn I also plan on using (or at least trying) Real Time Settlement: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/36922/ And Wasteland Defense (I heard RTS is compatible with it, but I'm sure I will need to investigate TTW support): https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/38049 I'm still investigating how to integrate Sexout in this setup, and SOFA from @dborg2 seems interesting, but I'm not sure how to proceed with everything using MO2, as most guides talk about FOMM and I read is deprecated nowdays. I also saw there are interesting mods from @Strec, like Rule the world or SexoutSlavers but it seems a bit deprecated. My dream would be a Sexout mod integrated into RTS or Wasteland Defense, but I think those were never made. If I'm wrong please correct me! Hopefully this isn't a necro, or at least not a bad one . Thanks in advance and enjoy!

Thanks in advance and enjoy! oohhh. I've been named... Sexout and Tale of Two Wastelands work fine. I'm not aware of many mods specifically for TTW, but generic mods that work in Fallout New Vegas area will likely also work in Fallout3 area. (Sexout Sex/Sexout Intimacy etc) The few mods that were written for Sexout+TTW were written for an older version of TTW and might have issues in the newer version. Fertile Breeder and FalloutTTWOverhaul work or have compatibility patches, but they have a mod conflict with eachother related to supermutant behaviour. Area specific mods for New Vegas will not add special stuff in Fallout 3 (SexoutBreeder, Sexout Fleshed Out, Sexout Tryout) I don't know of any Sexout mods that work with Wasteland Defense or Real Time Settlements. ------- FOMM still works, but Mod Organizer 2 is much better for managing big load and installation orders Edited January 8, 2023 by dborg2 2
_NXvLL_ Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Wow, thanks for the fast response , I certainly ran out of time to test it in the foreseeable future, but maybe I can give it a go the next weekend. 15 hours ago, dborg2 said: FOMM still works, but Mod Organizer 2 is much better for managing big load and installation orders Right now after following the mentioned guides I'm sitting at 163 "active" mods and the plugin count up to 118 active, so I think I should stay at MO2 (as it is a quite big list, and is not including Sexout yet ). That makes me not confident enough to follow the guides given yet, as they are aimed at FOMM and I do not really want to screw everything I have installed so far. Said that I will give a try next time, and try to dig deep into comments to see what others encountered when facing SOFA installations, or if I should trim down Sexout installation and expand slowly when I ensure everything is stable. 15 hours ago, dborg2 said: I don't know of any Sexout mods that work with Wasteland Defense or Real Time Settlements. I see, I guess probably got confused with SexoutSlavers back then, as it really looked like a RTS expansion for Sexout. Strec mods mentioned above look fun but looking at their age they may be unplayable nowdays. I really wanted to check the experience of having a kind of base that evolved over time and was focused on Sexout stuff. As always enjoy and thank you for keeping alive FO3/NV sections, it's really appreciated
dborg2 Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 I have an (almost) up to date installation guide in the 'list of mods'. That should help you. It also contains the SOFA installation and the stuff you can skip if you install that. 1

Kamen Rider Kuuga Posted May 11, 2024 Posted May 11, 2024 (edited) So, because TTW requires a newer version of xNVSE and Sexout requires a much older version of NVSE, I assume that they would conflict and cause a lot of harm, yes? Or can I somehow jury rig it? Edit: far as I can tell, there's nothing too horrible in conflicts with using it, except, of course, that trying to pause the timer using SexoutPosNew causes the game to crash... Someone did a fix here Concerning sexoutNG and NVSE and NVSE extender, it seems that there are compatibility problems and as I'm curious I wanted to test for myself what would happen if I used the latest versions (no-beta). So, currently with : - SexoutNG 2.10.97 - NVSE 6.3.5 - NVSE extender v19 For the moment, I haven't noticed any compatibility problems (animations, spells and events work as expected). However, I don't play much and in my tests I'm only testing a small part of Sexout's functionality. Unless someone develops unit tests for SexoutNG or tests it with a wide variety of mods, I have no idea how compatibility can be guaranteed. 1

I'm using the latest version of everything, I probably have a couple hundred hours now on a playthrough with that. The only issues I've noticed with new vegas is that every time you load a save and after you are actually loaded in waiting for all the info messages to stop, there will be a 1-2 second pause, and then another 1-2 second pause probably 30 seconds later. In fallout 3 (I'm using ttw) I've noticed that when interacting with a certain creatures, no animation plays. But I think that's because those creatures need to be added to one of sexouts formid lists that lists creatures you can interact with. Oh, and the nightcrawler ctd bug still exists all these years later.
